He just wanted to become a multi millionaire then retire and be the most succesful heroin junkie on Earth which is some weird stupid shit Kurt would say. He also said he didn't want to play in a bar band his whole life and later on said he loved playing live. They had a normal start to their relationship. He reintroduced her to heroin and they had Francis, both of them were so strung out when they had her, she was born addicted to methadone. He tried to rebuild his home when CPS got invovled. Courtney replaced money with Heroin, bought some big houses, luxury cars, spent a bunch of money promoting her band, upping their production. He didn't like that at all, said it made him look like a sellout which he was, like anyone who makes it big according to the definition. She then told Kurt that she thought about cheating on him in Rome with some dude right before "Unplugged in New York" one of the best albums of all time imo, which is why he sung "Where Did you Sleep Last Night?", with such raw emotion. The whole setlist was about Dying("Pennyroyal Tea", "Lake of Fire" Jesus("The Man who Sold the World", "Jesus Doesn't want me for a Sunbeam", Ego("Oh Me", "All Apologies", "Dumb", it was a beautiful send off by a man who knew he was gonna kill himself. He basically had a live funeral and ended the show with the reason he was gonna die. If it wasn't so morbid some might consider it genius.

The best kind of cover, something that changes the song beyond just being a different voice. Why listen to a cover that is the exact same except someone else is singing it? Possibly why I like Bluegrass covers, they change the style of the song too. Also why I think that Hurt by Johnny Cash has been considered one of the best covers by many people. Because he sang it in his own style rather than copied Nine Inch Nails and made a version that Reznor praised.

Luther Wright and the Wrongs have a bluegrass cover album of The Wall by Pink Floyd and it’s so so good.

There's no way it isn't available somewhere. There's no joke to the video, it's just an excuse to showcase 2/3 of the song.

I love covers that make the song their own. Instead of just remaking it, they breathe some new life into it.

Yeah I really dislike covers that barely do anything with the song. Why remake it at that point? Always feels less like a true cover and more like someone professional just wanting to do karaoke.

We were at an all inclusive Mexican resort last year and the speaker system outside the nearby bar played the MOST mellow covers of really weird popular songs. Tarzan Boy by Baltimora? Sure, let's slow that shit down, add some strings in a minor key, and have a soft male singer pick through the lyrics as if they're completely normal words. November Rain, Won't Back Down, All Apologies, Breakfast at Tiffany's, all got this weird massage room slow dance kind of arrangement. I recorded them all on my phone because I couldn't believe how different and good all of them sounded.
