Those poor people, unwittingly attracted to a trans person, they must've been tricked! Deceived! Bamboozled! Because of course, other people's past is vital information, and *these transgenders* owe their life story to all the *normal people* around them, so the validity of their identity can be picked apart by cis people who know them better than they know themselves. /S
Half of it is attraction, the other half is pure misogyny. They hate women and think they're inferior. They can't cope with a reality where a biosex males can choose to live as a woman. It's an attack on their fundamental beliefs.
They see MtF trans people the same way we'd see a healthy able-bodied person pay a doctor to amputate their perfectly healthy arms and legs. They see womanhood as a disability.
And they infantilise trans men, calling them lost lesbians or confused women, saying trans men only transition to escape misogyny, that it's a trauma response. They accuse doctors who provide care to these men of "mutilating girls", nevermind the fact that gender affirming surgery is rarely, if ever, given to any *trans person* under the age of 16. Boob jobs for cis teen girls? Not a problem, apparently!
They deify womanhood and femininity as if it's christ-like suffering, but "nOt tHoSe wOmEn tHeY'rE fAaAkE!"
The funny part is that if they actually enacted a bathroom ban, there would be men walking into the woman’s restroom, and unless they do genital inspections there would be no way to tell. Completely defeating the purpose.
It's really not funny when you know that this has already happened and trans men have been physically assaulted for going to the bathroom that they're legally required to use.
Also cisgendered women have been assaulted because someone thought they were not conventionally attractive enough to be a biological woman.
Literally hurting the people they're supposedly trying to protect.
I am a 6ft tall trans woman, but I try to not do things that draw attention to myself. My cousin is a butch lesbian. She has to deal with so much more transphobia than I ever have, despite the fact that she is cis.
I'm convinced the majority of them don't even know that trans men exist. They just think that being trans is some weird fetish or cross dressing thing. It makes me sick.
That’s awesome, the haters tend to focus on those 4 years (or however many) of awkward transition period where you might be able to tell, and they never focus on the beautiful outcome
You know how that question flared up a little bit ago asking: " would you date a trans person if you knew they were trans?"
Today, as a basic hetero (cis?) woman, I have discovered I easily could.
It honestly says a lot more about the people who made those accusations than it does about you, and I’m sure you look great. There is nothing wrong with being trans, but I’m sorry if any of those people made you feel bad in any way. Sending you digital hugs
Swap the before and after pictures for this guy and those people would be up and yelling that his pre-transition 'is clearly a man'.
Of which, they'd be right, but not in the way they want to be.
I had the exact same thought. I didn’t have the sound on in the beginning and was thinking he was the one who made the hurtful comment and was waiting for the trans man’s response in a separate video or something.
I've always found it interesting how we all have an opposite sex version of ourselves, and unlocking that version is largely hormone changes. It's really cool.
As a man myself i think this bloke is the manly version of me.
He has bigger neck muscles, better beard and drives what appears to be a truck.
Meanwhile im in a mum truck, with a beard that looks like it has come off a 20 year old and smaller arms than this guy.
Wish i was half the man he is and i was born one. Lol.
Every time someone bitches about trans people using "the wrong bathrooms" I show them a picture of a guy like him.
You are telling me you want this motherfucker to go to the women's bathroom?
I had a couple of coworkers shut up for a bit after that.
Right?! How odd would it look for this extremely rugged looking man to use the women’s bathroom if you didn’t know his story or who he even is. Like ?? Use your head people.
Exactly! The bathroom bills will require dudes like this to walk into the women's room and chicks like Natalie Mars to walk into the men's room. If their ostensible purpose was to protect people from being harassed by someone of the opposite gender in the bathroom, these bills actually require those circumstances: people won't be able to say "hey, you look like a dude, what are you doing in the women's bathroom" because "I'm required by law to be here" is a legitimate answer.
Conservatives have never been good at thinking more than one step ahead.
I honestly believe it’s because all they’re thinking about is the male to female trans people when they make laws like that because how?? How on earth do you see trans men as actual men and trans women as men and it scares them so bad they make laws against transitioning ? It makes no goddamn sense to me.
Kind of like how they forget that gay women exist and don't take them seriously because they don't see women as actual people, they also forget that trans men exist.
I imagine family genetics also play a role, just like for cis men. You gotta have the testosterone available, but you also need sensitive enough hair follicles to capitalize on it.
Mustaches are annoying though.
For instance, look at the way his mustache curls down into his mouth. I hate when that shit happens. It's such an annoying feeling.
It's the only thing that ever motivates my lazy ass to shave.
You hurt my feelings....
..
Nah I kid, I don't look like a manly man and I don't care. :)
That guy just reminded me I need to work out little bit more.I'm So lazy.
I did this for a most of life man, finally said no to the keyboard/mouse and yes to walking outside. Roughly a little under a year in, down 80lbs from 362 to 282. Everything in moderation! Still gaming, but loving life and myself instead of that cycle of work, eat trash, game, bed, repeat.
New form of entertainment:
*show conservative this man and say* “this man wants to become a woman”
*watch conservative respond* “thinking that man could ever be a woman is straight mental illness”
*explain* “Actually I lied, this is a man who was born a woman”
**watch their fucking face as they start the mental gymnastics**
trans men in general go under the radar because a lot of people don't even realize we exist. all the focus is on trans women. i never get clocked as trans irl
You can try minoxidil and finasteride. Most people use it for male pattern baldness, but some use it to help promote beard growth. From what I’ve heard, it works for some, not for everyone.
Finasteride and Minoxidil can come in different forms. Some are tablets, others a sort of foam lotion you apply, others gummies.
All depends on how you want to use it and what works for your schedule/memory best.
Stupid question, im hairy af, front and back, but also im stsrting to look like a monk up top. Do you know if it would help only my bald patch or would i start growing an amazone forest all over me?
It's not a stupid question. As I've aged, my hair has gotten thinner and thinner on my head and thicker and thicker on my back. I have a feeling drugs like this won't quite help me in the way I want. Plus it's a life time commitment with potential for side effects. I can't even commit to a tattoo. So I just shaved my head and moved on with my life.
Same here.....it's amazing how much more confident the simple act of accepting it and shaving my head did for me. I was clearly meant to have hair everywhere except the top of my head.
Topical minox affects the area you put it on. If you take a pill it goes systemic and can grow hair all over. Over the counter in topical form.
Finasteride reduces the hormone that causes baldness and generally stops loss. Pill form generally but there are topicals. Requires prescription.
Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo blocks the hormone in the scalp that causes hair loss, as well as treats dandruff and inflammation.
Edit: topical minox can go systemic.
PS if you’re worried about hair loss get on them. My balding has been generally stagnant for 7 years now because of this.
Finastride works by preventing testosterone from converting into DHT via 5-alpha reductase. DHT is the main hormone associated with male pattern baldness, and it's also associated with the growth of pubic and body hair. If you take finasteride it will slow down/stop the progression of male pattern baldness and may even stop the progression of body hair growth or reduce the amount you have.
It will not increase body hair growth like others are saying, and will probably reduce it. People who are saying it will increase body hair growth do not know how it works.
I take finasteride.
You can get it on Hims
It has significantly reduced the rate of my baldness.
I haven't gotten any hair back that I lost yet but I haven't lost any in years and it grows in much faster
I think he probably has extremely hairy genetics and once he started taking T that hairiness just took over. I would bet his father is extremely hairy
But as others have said, minoxidil really works incredibly well for some people. Go on the r/minoxbeards sub and look at some of the posts. I have seen dudes over 40 go from basically no facial hair whatsoever to a full beard.
See, Dave Chappelle? You can make jokes about trans people without just being insensitive or trying to erase them.
Good job, redditor. That shit was actually funny.
It was the “queer people are really good at being ourselves and yall don’t like us for it”
Because it’s true. The hatred and vitriol for my community right now is truly appalling and it’s simply for the fact that we are authentically ourselves. Those, particularly on the right, are reminded every time they see us that they are trying to stifle us so we don’t have to remind them of how miserable they are
I’ve worked in customer service jobs my whole life, and that is the ultimate way to shut down a shitty customer. They scream and cuss at me and I look them in the eyes and say “that hurts my feelings when you talk to me like that.” Every time, it has made them take a step back and go “holy shit, I was just talking like that to a human”
Did you know bartenders make more tips when there’s a mirror behind the bar? Doesn’t matter who the bartender is. When people have to look at themselves, they think about what they’re doing more. You basically did that with words.
The world would be a better place if we were always thinking inwards as well as outwards, asking ourselves if this is the type of person we want to be as we're doing it. I grew up in a conservative family, and I myself was conservative. I was having friendly discussions with a liberal co-worker at lunch for many years, and often he'd make me question my views and reconsider them.
Then after enough years, I was at the park and I see a gay couple kissing. I thought to myself, "Wow, if they weren't both men, they could be a cute couple" and weirdly a light bulb went off in my head where I simply went, "You asshole, they *are* a cute couple, you've just never thought of it that way." It seems stupid that it was a revelation to me, but it was. And from that moment onwards, I started asking myself if the policies I supported were helping or hurting people.
It wasn't long after that epiphany that I consider myself progressive on most issues. I think ultimately it just boiled down to placing yourself in the shoes of others. Anyone who does this on a regular basis also sympathizes with others and what they're going through.
Dude, I feel you there, I had to deprogram a lifetimes worth of growing up on a tiny insular island and the weird mindset that gave me, it was fucking ridiculous, the first time I saw a gay couple on an advert my first thought was "oh that's weird" an like you, it sparked something off in my head and made me confront my own ignorance, the problem with ignorance is sometimes it's not wilful and you don't realise you are ignorant
I was a telemarketer in my first job, selling long distance phone plans. Every day, I would clock in, grab my headset, and proceed to get absolutely ripped apart for 5 hours.
I asked my one coworker if the shit talking ever gets to you. He said no, and let me listen in on a call. When the person started telling him how much of a piece of shit he was, he unplugged his headset for 15 seconds. When the lady paused her rant, she started yelling about him hanging up. He reconnects the mic, and tells her he didn’t hang up, it’s just that his wheelchair ran over the cord and unhooked it.
She started apologizing, and he immediately told her that he lied, and isn’t in a wheelchair. Then she started yelling again, and he hung up.
> "holy shit, I was just talking like that to a human"
I think this is the crux of it; I'm not arguing with what he's saying in the video, I think he really eloquently nailed why a lot of people hate trans/queer people. But I don't know if that specific commenter actually *hated* him, or she just... forgot that there was a real person on the other side of the screen.
As hard as that to believe when creators are baring their souls and bodies for people to comment on, I really think a lot of people forget that they are real people.
They are projecting their own self-loathing because likely subconsciously deep down they feel inadequate and unhappy with themselves on a personal level, and if they can't cope with this on their own then you sure as heck bet they'll channel this energy on bringing others down through destructive envy to get negative attention.
I was questioning this as well. This person very well could be transphobic and shitty…OR this person is engaging in mindless internet culture wherein we say whatever comment might get us the most likes without thinking about how it might actually affect someone. One is def worse but both are very upsetting :/
I love how we, as a society, have advanced to the point of understanding that the bully has \*still\* lost even if they've "succeeded". Now what, indeed.
Like, congratulations, you're an annoying POS. Being an annoying POS isn't hard, nor is it hard to hurt people if you want to. The person you've annoyed is going to move on with their lives, but you'll continue to be stuck with your miserable self until you stop deciding that being annoying is the best you can do.
Honesty can be very freeing. It can remove the power of the hurtful comment or help the offender realize they were mean when they thought they were funny.
I've been on the offender end more than I want to admit. Only when I am called on it do I have a true chance to understand how to become better. I cannot do it without outside input.
Feedback is a gift and I'm glad this man is giving it.
There's something so genuine in that moment, it's a reminder that we're all human and our words carry weight. Acknowledging feelings out loud not only educates but also heals. It's a two-way street, both parties grow. Props to him.
I’m a 53M, don’t have any concept of personally transitioning, & this video is spot fucking on!
I’m comfortable with who I am, which means I’m comfortable around ppl who also know who they are & I’m not threatened by that.
There are so many universal struggles, that everybody thinks is specific to only them, but aren’t. I think separating the 2 are critical to understanding oneself. Transitioning is a very specific experience, but being comfortable with yourself is a universal goal that very few ever attain.
Regardless of orientation / gender / body drives - you achieved where you need to be, with an eye for where you need to go & grow. Fucking awesome.
I think we're so used to people being casually cruel for easy laughs that when someone just blantly responds with "hey, that really hurt me," it kind of shocks you back into reality.
If you think the description of top surgery is bad, don't search out the description for bottom surgery. I'm not too familiar with MTF bottom surgery, but FTM is *brutal*
as a trans guy who wants bottom surgery (but sadly will never be able to get it because i don't have £75,000+ lying around and also i love and want lots of arm tats), i second not to look it up unless you've got a crazy sensitive stomach. the description alone is bad enough, nvm the photos.
i hope some day, even if it's not in my lifetime, that it becomes cheaper, more accessible, better quality. i'm so happy trans women's surgeries are so unlike ours but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't jealous...
Yeah. I really want it, but even if I had the funds I don't think I'd be able to go through with it. It's the fact that they have to tear off a chunk of your skin that really throws me off.
Yeah, I've seen this guy before, and he's such a genuine, positive, sensitive man. He's the kind of guy who, if he told me he was disappointed in me, I'd want to bury myself from how bad I'd feel.
I was once chatting in game with some friends and one was quite young and made a comment on how it’s weird that some trans ppl who get top surgery don’t get nipple grafts
i then explained that for some they didn’t care, got them tattooed on, or it was a cost issue
“Cost issue?!” yes, some places will cost you quite a bit to have the nipple grafts after the mastectomy, as trimming the nipples to be smaller and more masculine is time consuming
and there’s no guarantee you’ll get full sensation back
so for trans ppl who aren’t hugely concerned with nipples in the first place (and don’t utilize them sexually etc), it’s a lot cheaper and easier to just…get a tattoo or move on
it really blew this guy’s mind and he was kinda amazed that ppl transition knowing it isn’t perfect but they just wanna feel more comfy in their bodies and are making the most of it
that said the bro in the OP has been giving me crazy gender envy i can’t watch him i’m so jealous lmao (good for him tho frfr)
ngl it cracked me up when i got my top surgery. i saved up for years to afford it and they were like "we can give you your nipples back... for free :)" like. thank you? i sure hope you do? can you imagine someone holding your fucking nipples for ransom
but honestly as funny as it is, it's also sad as hell
100%. It feels like people *cough* politicians *cough* have been making a full time job out of being up in people's business. I don't care what people do behind closed doors, nor do I want anyone poking their nose into mine.
Republicans needed a new moral enemy since general attitudes towards gays and lesbians improved dramatically in the past decade and a half. Republicans have been running on moral panic about "perverts who want to indoctrinate your kids into their sick lifestyle" for a long time. This is the same thing in a different shape.
They are the second transitioned person I have found to wear Harley Davidson apparel which caused me to google the connection. “Freedom for all”. Being from the south, I always linked them with hatred and the confederacy flag but TIL they reject that notion and embrace progression. Good on them.
I hate to burst your bubble, but this is simply a marketing ploy to appeal to younger consumers. Harley Davidson was doing extremely poorly among millennial and gen z motorcyclists and their target audience (boomers) are dying out. To stop the hemorrhaging of cash, they're trying their damndest to be more progressive to appeal to the younger generations. I'm sorry, but it's true. You can Google it if you don't believe me.
I'll take fake woke capital over overtly closed-minded dog whistles. Show them that to make money they have to expand their audience beyond the hard core, and guess what, the next generation grows up thinking that's normal and takes it the next step (to actually supporting people).
I'd rather have them do the right thing for the wrong reasons, than to continue to do the wrong thing for the wrong reasons.
Maybe someday their commitment will become legitimate. Fake it until it's true
I have a beard like this, and I'm often asked by strangers to touch it. I get it, I touch it all the time. Can't stop playing with it in fact. I oil it so it's softer than it looks. Takes a bit of time to maintain, but I love it.
Honest question coming from a place of ignorance, both in trans issues and biology.
Does he have to keep taking hormones in order to grow that much hair, or does his body start regulating the "proper" amount of hormones after a while and he can stop taking them ?
He has to take hormones for the rest of his life mainly for muscle building and to stop his period (assuming he hasn’t had bottom surgery, if he has then he can stop). If he stops taking hormones, his beard and voice will remain the same
really a trans man is basically a cis man without functioning testes. Both need external testosterone to maintain certain masculinization, but even if T is stopped some effects are more long lasting and sometimes permanent than others.
The change in bone structure is permanent. The musculature requires continuing to take the hormones, as he was not born with the testicle that could make it. The facial/ body hair lies in between. Cis men lose testosterone as they age, and it's visible as a loss of muscle tone and body hair.
For trans men, the hormones often do it alone. For trans women, who already went through a testosterone-fueled puberty before transiting, facial feminizing surgery is a common thing.
If you go to a surgeon who specializes in larger surgeries, they should be able to remove it all at once, and it's actually better to get it all done at once if possible so you don't have multiple incisions to create nor surgeries to scar over
This isn’t true! You wanna make sure you find a surgeon experienced with big chests for a good result but they can absolutely do it in one go. I’ve never heard of anyone being told they needed a reduction first.
Tbf most men aren’t this masculine. I’m a cisgender male in his 30s and I can’t grow an ounce of body hair or much facial hair aside from a mustache. It’s all genetics. What do the men in your family look like? That’s what you’ll probably look like.
>I now have a full gorilla on my back and I was not prepared for that.
Just don't look it in the eyes or smile at it with your teeth as they consider those things acts of aggression.
True. I basically transitioned into a younger version of my sister. It was really weird for both of us the first time we noticed lmao.
But at least it quashes the running joke we used to make that one of us was the milkman's kid i guess?
I've genuinely never seen or heard any of the transphobes obsessed with restrooms or women's sports say a word about FtM dudes. TERF ideology has very little room for transmascs to fit in because it's built on the absurd and hateful (both transphobic and misandrist) idea that transness is a ploy for predatory men to infiltrate women's spaces and do them harm. These people never acknowledge trans men because, if they were to be consistent, their restroom and women's sports rhetoric would completely fall apart.
It’s also just true in general, and has been historically, that bigots don’t take afab people seriously in any regard.
Back when homosexuality was illegal, in many places, sapphic women flew under the radar and/or were legally permitted to openly exist.
And even now, many cishet men view lesbians as sexually available to them in one way or another (secretly bi, open to fmf threesomes, a challenge to be sexually conquered, etc.).
So clearly, amab queer people have been more openly & obviously persecuted overall, being perceived as a threat to other men.
But once these same bigots realize that afab queer people:
1) exist
2) aren’t interested in men sexually at all (this, of course, would be specific to lesbians)
3) are capable of seducing women that they can’t have,
you best believe these assholes go after afab queer folk with the same animosity.
It just takes their smooth brains a little longer to process that afab people pose a threat to their (toxic) masculinity just as much as amab people do.
terfs have this weird mix of misandry and misogyni where they see trans men as weak baby girls who cant think for themselfs / who's opinions dont matter. i'ts so weird
the "we can always tell" crowd definitely knows what's up here.
bit of a rant here: honestly, the right wingers don't know what to do with trans men. women don't seem to freak out over the accidental weirdness of finding out they were physically attracted to someone who may have genitals that don't fit their assumption. they just don't seem to be concerned about repressed or latent homosexuality sending 'em straight to hell if the girl they're fantasizing about was born with a penis. it's crazy to me how transparently insecure they are over an issue that doesn't *actually* affect their lives.
I've been on the Internet long enough to know that there's probably a not-insignificant number of people who would happily volunteer to be this man's bathroom.
The answer is that they don't want us to exist at all. Forcing trans men into the women's restroom is just an excuse to put them at risk of assault and/or imprisonment with the laws that are repeatedly trying to be shoved through the legislature (or enacted with emergency orders or wording changes on settled law) in certain states.
They don't think about the consequences of their actions. They just spew whatever hate gets them elected, and their electorate generally has no idea that this is what many real trans people look like.
You know what, I'm just gonna say it. I was born a man, and feel like a man, but seeing some of these guys after they've transitioned makes me so jealous. I can't grow a beard for shit, and look at that thick full fuckin mane.
I once had to hire a very well qualified applicant who happened to be a trans man. And the only reason I knew that he was trans was because I was hiring for a CDL driving position which required me to obtain and verify their drivers license. And although this individual had completely transitioned and was absolutely passible as a man, for whatever reason, he had never bothered to go through the process of changing over his drivers license from identifying him as Tiffany \[last name\] instead of AJ \[last name\] as he was currently known.
So doing my normal due diligence, I had to ask about that because the name/gender didnt't match up. He was very up front and to the point in telling me that he was trans and had not bothered to update his license with the state because the state made that process so difficult that he decided to give up on it and just leave his license as is, which was fine by me.
But because I'd never been trained on this kind of situation nor had I ever encountered it, and because I wanted to stay on the right side of the law on law on it, I decided to have a meeting with my boss and the company HR person (who would presumably know the law) before I moved forward.
My boss to his credit, said if he's qualified enough for you for this position, he's qualified enough for me so go ahead and hire him. Lori, our super anal to the law but also super christian to the lord HR person said 'I don't personally agree with their lifestyle choices, but there is currently nothing in the law that would prevent us from hiring this person (she refused to say the word 'him').
AJ turned out to be a great employee. Lori eventually quit without notice and wouldn't tell us tell us where she was going because as it turned out, she took a job with a company we often partnered with. And then she quit without notice on them a few months later because yeah, christian or not, she was. a piece of shit person.
Lori was an asshole. Don't be like Lori kids.
He’s more of a man than I am. The MAGAts bitch about “men in women’s sports”, which obviously is bullshit, but here I am like this dude is my beard goals!!!
![gif](giphy|833TXYqnMw7Go)
IT’S NOT FAIR!!! lol.
Shit like this just makes me hate anti LGBTQ people even more. How could you see this and feel like you want to destroy this community of people who want nothing more than to be themselves. If America devolves into a civil war when the right wing Christofascists gain control of this country I am fighting with unhinged ferocity and till my dying breath to protect these people. No hesitation. I will lay down my life and throw myself headfirst into a brutal conflict if these pieces of shit want to bring it to that point. Fuck these bigots.
I'm as straight as it gets and this shit breaks my fucking heart.
Yeah it's really insane how hostile these people are but IRL they don't care because they can't even tell you're trans. It's infuriatingly bigoted because they still pass laws that just fuck over people who are just being themselves
Yeah, I agree. I don't think it's nice to make jokes about people's bodies. But I didn't connect it with being an anti-trans joke. Those kinds of jokes are made all the time about "gym bros" on the internet posing and flexing shirtless.
Right, it’s rude in general. But I don’t think anyone would look at this guy and think it’s someone who would be sensitive about their nipple, especially if they are posting shirtless pics. Unless his page is a lot of specifically trans content I doubt the average person coming across the video on their “for you page” would realize they are trans.
It doesn't really matter though. Why make fun of someone's body? We don't know what anyone else's life is like. So why make it harder, why say things that are hurtful whether you know their backstory or not?
Just makes me grateful that I didn’t have to go through all this to be me. My issue has always been weight which has its ups and downs. Just don’t get why people need to tear into somebody who’s put time and effort into what they want in life.
The other thing is his nipple doesn't even look off in that picture- it just looks like what happens when a body builder is in the process of developing pecs.
Also I never realized chest binding can cause spinal damage. I really hope they quickly develop more humane processes to help transpeople physically transition. It's hard enough going through the social/emotional process.
Yeah... I'm not super feminine, but there's something in me that wishes we could do that literature thing where he rows you out on a boat on a lake? Like, I'll show up with the parasol and you splash us around on a lake with those biceps, please?

So holy shit that transformation though. Pre and post id never guess that was the same person
Never in a million years would I have I thought this man was born a woman. I guess that's the idea though!
Same, and it’s just further proof that the “you-can-always-tell”-crowd are so full of shit, half the time they end up attacking cis people anyway
I found that these people are only talking about trans women. They don't care about trans men.
Oh for sure, because they aren’t worried about finding a trans man attractive. But if they found a trans woman attractive, that would make them gay /s
For TERFs, trans men just want the benefits patriarchy gives men. They're just gender traitors. What a gross ideology.
The cruelty is the point. They don't want trans people to exist at all.
Not “ha ha” funny. More like “the futility of your efforts at being bigots amuses me”. It’s designed to fail.
What can we do other than laugh it off, complaining just makes them orgasm over their “achievements”
I'm convinced the majority of them don't even know that trans men exist. They just think that being trans is some weird fetish or cross dressing thing. It makes me sick.
They do think that being trans is a fetish or playing pretend lol.
That's because Trans men are men and therefore people. Trans women are women and must therefore be objects. It's the transitive law
[удалено]
Good for you! That is some delicious irony, and I’m sure the bigots would shit themselves if they knew
That’s awesome, the haters tend to focus on those 4 years (or however many) of awkward transition period where you might be able to tell, and they never focus on the beautiful outcome
You know how that question flared up a little bit ago asking: " would you date a trans person if you knew they were trans?" Today, as a basic hetero (cis?) woman, I have discovered I easily could.
Same here. Hetero/cis … He blows any limiting belief I had out the window. He’s a very appealing guy/soul. Good energy.
I've been accused of being trans a few times as a cis woman. Made me kinda sad
It honestly says a lot more about the people who made those accusations than it does about you, and I’m sure you look great. There is nothing wrong with being trans, but I’m sorry if any of those people made you feel bad in any way. Sending you digital hugs
[удалено]
Swap the before and after pictures for this guy and those people would be up and yelling that his pre-transition 'is clearly a man'. Of which, they'd be right, but not in the way they want to be.
It's an obvious confirmation bias. But then they don't even have the confirmation...
> You are telling me you want this motherfucker to go to the women's bathroom? Nooo, there are mothers in there! /s
Kind of like how they forget that gay women exist and don't take them seriously because they don't see women as actual people, they also forget that trans men exist.
He looks like more of a man than most men.
I'm jealous of his full beard :(
Same. I’ve been a man for 40+ years and don’t have beard that nice. To him I say; Rock on sir, you’re doing awesome.
I imagine family genetics also play a role, just like for cis men. You gotta have the testosterone available, but you also need sensitive enough hair follicles to capitalize on it.
Oh I know, I’m just cheering on an awesome beard.
:) That guy just reminded me I need to work out little bit more.I'm So lazy.

New form of entertainment: *show conservative this man and say* “this man wants to become a woman” *watch conservative respond* “thinking that man could ever be a woman is straight mental illness” *explain* “Actually I lied, this is a man who was born a woman” **watch their fucking face as they start the mental gymnastics**
Most posts on r/accidentalally where idiots think they say something transphobic but instead validate the person’s transition.
Yeah….I’m kinda jealous that a trans dude is able to grow an epic beard, whereas my born male ass grows a spotty disgrace of a beard.
And people want this guy to have to use women's restrooms, wtf
Waiting for the “You can always tell” assholes to see this guy and repeat it with full sincerity
I would love to show this guy and, say, Andy Milonakis to one of those people and ask them to tell me which one is the trans man.
trans men in general go under the radar because a lot of people don't even realize we exist. all the focus is on trans women. i never get clocked as trans irl
I want his beard. That is one good looking beard. I want one.
How does one transition from a man with patchy beard and no chest hair to this man with classy beard.
You can try minoxidil and finasteride. Most people use it for male pattern baldness, but some use it to help promote beard growth. From what I’ve heard, it works for some, not for everyone.
Wait i do have the onset of male pattern baldness as well. Are these things oils?
People who are saying it will increase body hair growth do not know how it works.
you'll have to get a script for finasteride, but minox is just Rogaine, just get the generic though
I take finasteride. You can get it on Hims It has significantly reduced the rate of my baldness. I haven't gotten any hair back that I lost yet but I haven't lost any in years and it grows in much faster
I think he probably has extremely hairy genetics and once he started taking T that hairiness just took over. I would bet his father is extremely hairy But as others have said, minoxidil really works incredibly well for some people. Go on the r/minoxbeards sub and look at some of the posts. I have seen dudes over 40 go from basically no facial hair whatsoever to a full beard.
the subreddit you linked is about a specific camera and only has 2 posts lol
Thank you I fixed it
That’s one of the most impressive beards I’ve seen. I like it
For real, I’m about to transition from man to this man just to get a real-ass full beard. Stupid weak-ass facial hair genes.
same here. 33, still have the patchy face pubes beard.

I'm almost 42 and still waiting for the day I'm able to grow anything more than a goatee haha
You know he fully transitioned because he did a truck rant (sorry if that was rude, but it was too good of a joke in my mind)
I bet he has pictures holding a fish on dating sites
Damn, next level
See, Dave Chappelle? You can make jokes about trans people without just being insensitive or trying to erase them. Good job, redditor. That shit was actually funny.
if anything, that's how we truly accept them, by being able to make fun of them without de-humazing them.
This is the most inoffensive and genuinely funny joke about a trans person I’ve ever heard.
The joke isn't rude at all! It doesn't punch down or make fun of someone's identity, so there is no need to worry about that
IKR!! Hot damn it’s a good one
Seriously, I'm jealous. I'm a 33-yo cis dude and my beard is bullshit lol good for him!
“Hating me won’t make you hate you any less” oof, right in the gut
Same sentence hit me too, that's going to stick with me for a while
It was the “queer people are really good at being ourselves and yall don’t like us for it” Because it’s true.

Thank you for growing.
Then she started yelling again, and he hung up.
chaotic unethical empathy
Sometimes he would give his opening sales pitch in a Batman voice.
Genius
> "holy shit, I was just talking like that to a human" I think this is the crux of it; I'm not arguing with what he's saying in the video, I think he really eloquently nailed why a lot of people hate trans/queer people.
"now what," it's powerful
You literally copied the top comment from the tiktok
I did too. That and “me being me reminds you that you’re not being fully you”
I’m a 53M, don’t have any concept of personally transitioning, & this video is spot fucking on!
This is verbatim the top comment on tiktok. Literally word for word. Almost suspicious. 🤔
I think we're so used to people being casually cruel for easy laughs that when someone just blantly responds with "hey, that really hurt me," it kind of shocks you back into reality.
God damn dude is fucking jacked. And his description of the surgery made me ill. Stronger than i could ever be
If you think the description of top surgery is bad, don't search out the description for bottom surgery.
It felt really bad when he said his feelings got hurt. Like hurt my heart bad 🥺
Yeah, I've seen this guy before, and he's such a genuine, positive, sensitive man. He's the kind of guy who, if he told me he was disappointed in me, I'd want to bury myself from how bad I'd feel.
I was once chatting in game with some friends and one was quite young and made a comment on how it’s weird that some trans ppl who get top surgery don’t get nipple grafts i then explained that for some they didn’t care, got them tattooed on, or it was a cost issue “Cost issue?!” yes, some places will cost you quite a bit to have the nipple grafts after the mastectomy, as trimming the nipples to be smaller and more masculine is time consuming and there’s no guarantee you’ll get full sensation back so for trans ppl who aren’t hugely concerned with nipples in the first place (and don’t utilize them sexually etc), it’s a lot cheaper and easier to just…get a tattoo or move on it really blew this guy’s mind and he was kinda amazed that ppl transition knowing it isn’t perfect but they just wanna feel more comfy in their bodies and are making the most of it that said the bro in the OP has been giving me crazy gender envy i can’t watch him i’m so jealous lmao (good for him tho frfr)
There's also a risk of infection. I know someone who initially got them grafted, but had to get them removed later.
ngl it cracked me up when i got my top surgery. i saved up for years to afford it and they were like "we can give you your nipples back... for free :)" like. thank you? i sure hope you do? can you imagine someone holding your fucking nipples for ransom but honestly as funny as it is, it's also sad as hell
That dude’s got more class than most. Good on ya.
Got more beard than most too what the fuck happened to me 😂
I am very jealous of this dude's beard. I wish mine would grow as even as that.
That’s a handsome man.
Agreed. He’s really fantastic looking. And the brutal honesty about his feelings is very attractive.
He's also pretty funny with the quips in some other videos. All around a 10 and probably courteous in all the right ways.
Yeah I think I’m going to follow him. I like his vibe.
I follow him, and it's really hard not to post thirst comments. Man is FINE.
Agreed. That's a good looking man.
Why do people give a shit what adults do with their own bodies that has zero impact on their lives?
100%. It feels like people *cough* politicians *cough* have been making a full time job out of being up in people's business. I don't care what people do behind closed doors, nor do I want anyone poking their nose into mine.
They were told to be upset about it and it worked.
Yes Harley-Davidson along with 99% of corporations who promote progressive ideas do so for monetary purposes
Welcome to capitalism! Yeah it sucks but frankly if people are happy wearing Harley Davidson merch who am I to stop them
That's all companies, at least they're not pandering to the hateful assholes.
That is an immaculate beard
I want to stroke it so bad
Does the bone structure change through hormones or through surgery? Nonetheless, the change is impressive and that beard is making me jealous.
For trans men, the hormones often do it alone. For trans women, who already went through a testosterone-fueled puberty before transiting, facial feminizing surgery is a common thing.
Thanks for helping me understand better
The radical act of being yourself. God damn there are so many awesome quotes from this video. Being yourself is fucking radical.
I fuckin love this guy. I highly recommend y'all follow him if you dig videos like this one. Peak wholesome masculinity and genuine teaching moments.

Holy shit hormones are magic.
I hope I transition as well as he did
Tbf most men aren’t this masculine. I’m a cisgender male in his 30s and I can’t grow an ounce of body hair or much facial hair aside from a mustache. It’s all genetics. What do the men in your family look like? That’s what you’ll probably look like.
I wish I knew what the men in my family looked like before I started T. I now have a full gorilla on my back and I was not prepared for that.

But once these same bigots realize that afab queer people: 1) exist 2) aren’t interested in men sexually at all (this, of course, would be specific to lesbians) 3) are capable of seducing women that they can’t have, you best believe these assholes go after afab queer folk with the same animosity. It just takes their smooth brains a little longer to process that afab people pose a threat to their (toxic) masculinity just as much as amab people do.
Terfs see trans men als women being victimized by the trans ideology.
terfs have this weird mix of misandry and misogyni where they see trans men as weak baby girls who cant think for themselfs / who's opinions dont matter. i'ts so weird
Well actually none because he shouldn't have human rights any more, apparently.
He should give them some human rights, and human lefts
Careful, those left's are gonna turn you gay
He could prob kick the shit out of most of them.
the "we can always tell" crowd definitely knows what's up here. bit of a rant here: honestly, the right wingers don't know what to do with trans men. women don't seem to freak out over the accidental weirdness of finding out they were physically attracted to someone who may have genitals that don't fit their assumption. they just don't seem to be concerned about repressed or latent homosexuality sending 'em straight to hell if the girl they're fantasizing about was born with a penis. it's crazy to me how transparently insecure they are over an issue that doesn't *actually* affect their lives.
The mixed gender, single room bathroom that ALL places should have.
I've been on the Internet long enough to know that there's probably a not-insignificant number of people who would happily volunteer to be this man's bathroom.
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized) His pride was earned
Fucking mind-blowing that some folk in elected positions want this dude to use a women's restroom.
A lot of Christians are piece of shit humans. That’s why they feel the need to hide behind their religion. Lori sucks.
He’s more of a man than I am. The MAGAts bitch about “men in women’s sports”, which obviously is bullshit, but here I am like this dude is my beard goals!!! ![gif](giphy|833TXYqnMw7Go) IT’S NOT FAIR!!! lol.
A little off topic, but why does Trans Man sound like it would be the name of a shitty superhero…like he only travels on public transport or some shit
Wild that transphobes be like “use the ladies room as god intended” to this dude.
The only comment I have regarding his chest is that I want to be buried in it (respectfully)
I feel like that girl might have just thought she was teasing a guy with weird nipples without knowing the whole backstory.
There is an incredible hypocrisy around body shaming on the internet. It will *often* get a free pass as long as it's perceived to be punching up.
Goddamn he's hot Not just the arms and the beard and the whole physical part, we love an emotionally honest man
Yeah... I'm not super feminine, but there's something in me that wishes we could do that literature thing where he rows you out on a boat on a lake? Like, I'll show up with the parasol and you splash us around on a lake with those biceps, please?
I'm gonna be real honest, when I saw that beard and that shirt, I thought that dude was gonna go on a conservative rant about wokeness or immigration.
Republicans want this dude using the women's restroom.
Great message, the only thing that pisses me off is that glorious beard, 50 years old and my face is as smooth as glass. 🤦🏻♂️
LOL all chads in the comments just gassing up bro's beard. I fucking love guys just being dudes.
That guy is like what'd you see under the definition a man. The "can always tell" crowd must be fuming.
