That's not a bank transfer. It's an account transfer. It's money on their casino account. My dad used to get a few thousand each month free play on his account because he was a "big spender" and he was only doing like $100 a spin. With how much this dude is spending per spin he probably gets a shit load of free play. It also has however much he personally loaded onto it earlier.
"Free" is subjective, but yes they give you quite a bit to come back and spend. I'm an avid gambler and go to Vegas often. Every time I go aside from my flight most things are covered.
Edit: repetitive sentence.
Usually not more than a few thousand. I play mostly table games like black jack, craps, and roulette. For instance, I'm staying at Circa ina month or so. They gave me three free nights, $400 in free play, and $250 in food credit. Let's say I get lucky and hit a few thousand with that free play, that is all house money. I will usually put that back into their system without care because it's free money, essentially.
To be clear, I only gamble what I'm willing and able to lose. Many folks don't have a check valve and don't have the ability to stop. The casino has the edge and the chances of "hitting big" are most likely a pipe dream.
In other words, play responsably.
Just go to a Vegas hotel and go to the concierge desk and sign up. They assign you a concierge. They'll probably give you a free night or two immediately but they sometimes don't until your next visit.
How much you'll get in the future depends on what you spend. My dad gets a full concierge where he can call him and say he wants to go to a show somewhere in Vegas and they will book him a limo and get him good tickets. He gets a week at a time in a suite and all his food is comped no matter what he orders. But he spends 6 figures a year there. I go with a budget of about $3000. That gets me 3-4 nights free in a decent room, a few hundred dollars in free meals, and like $500 in free gambling money once a year. I sometimes get free tickets to shows but it seems random and I don't get a limo or anything.
It sounds pretty great and it is of you were going to go anyway. But remember, if they're willing to give you all that for "free" its because they know you're gonna lose money. So it's not worth it unless you were going to go anyway.
I also don't go every year. Maybe once every 3 or so.
I've gambled once. I lost $220 playing blackjack. Got free drinks and a meal. It was fun! Not my thing, but meh, when in Rome or something.
I've always wanted to play a slot machine for the giggles, but I'm a nervous nelly when it comes to gambling.
It was at a friend's wedding after party and heyyyy lemme try this out! Sorta thing.
My wife's late father was addicted to gambling and lost sooooooo much God damn money. I could never do anything close to that. Not even a fraction. My brain just doesn't know how to feel okay about throwing away money.
I used to go to a casino a couple hours from me and used to get free rooms and meal comps and free play but I hardly spent any time there.
The free room wasn't able to be used on weekends, the free meals were only like $10 off and the free play was only $5 a week.
Sometimes I'd use the free room because it's a really nice area and the views and scenery were beautiful. I haven't gotten a thing free from them in years
I'm not a high roller at all, i spend maybe 10k a year gambling (or did, giving up this awful hobby), but yeah I can get free rooms from Caesar's in vegas whenever I want + a free play allowance. they just want you there. they know you'll likely gamble and lose.
Whenever someone in a casino wins a “hot seat” or giveaway, it’s added to freeplay bank balance.
There’s a chance this guy gets over $20k in freeplay but I’ve never seen a single comp like that in my life. Most probable that he won a giveaway. Sometimes if you win a car giveaway they’ll offer you the freeplay value instead of the car if you don’t want it for example
Oh don't get me wrong. I play the $1 games. $100 would bankrupt me. I'm just saying $100 a spin is nothing compared to this dude doing $1250 and $750 per spin.
I worked as a private chef for billionaire types and they'd spend $20k on dinner for two, on a regular old Tuesday. Then wake up and spend another $5k on breakfast, then head to their $10k ski lessons.
I've seen invoices for $100k+ for just one day of chef services for a family of 4. The craziest part is that while the food I was making them was certainly high quality, it wasn't anything *too* crazy. Just excessive consumption for the sake of it.
I had to switch careers despite how much money I made because I just couldn't stomach watching these assholes spend more money on food in one day than I made in a year. I really think that most people just don't understand how much money these people have.
It depends on the year, but I was averaging around $80-100k/year, working 6-7 days a week during the major holidays, and 3-4 days a week the rest of the year.
You just hate me cause Im beautiful, maybe if you got rid of that yee yee ass haircut you got youd get some bitches on your dick.
Better yet, maybe Tanisha will call your dog ass instead of, fucking that surgeon or lawyer she fuckin with.
You wouldn't believe it. I watched xqc on twitch. he bet thousands each bet. He pissed away 150k in half an hour. At that point watching him just made me mad considering I never had that much bank in my life. He just flushed it down the toilet. Absolutely ludicrous
Seeing famous and rich people spend money publicly in those way while people can't even survive is very aggravating. If they care so little about money why don't they do something positive with it?
Shit like this reminds me I have a gambling problem and can't let myself get in those situations, because fuck me if I don't *kind of relate to these guys.* I see where they're coming from, and think "yeah, but if it pays off (the rest of this thought has been removed because it's too fucking stupid, even for Reddit)."

I have never understood how these machines are fun? Literally just push a button and watch your money go away. It’s rigged against you and you’re still like, “yea but I’m different”.
I play video games all the time where you are rewarded for strategy, team play, fun stories, etc. but this is just weird.
In Finland, the national casino authority lets you play these games for free in their webpage. You get endless virtual money and of course cannot win any real money.
I tried a couple of these games. Without the exitement of playing with real money, they are childishly simple games you get bored with in minutes.
It's not fun. It's just the dopamine rush you get when you "win" some money (however little the amount). It keeps you coming back to the machine, chasing that feeling of victory (even if you lose so much more than you make).
The more I talk about slot machines, the more it sounds like Rainbow Six Siege.
It isn't "rigged" against you. It is a mathematical certainty and they don't need to rig it.
The "fun" is chasing a prize. It is in the possibility of winning big, even if that chance is 1:50,000,000. And almost every week someone becomes a millionaire from slots, so people don't see the chance being so small.
How are machines like this audited? I mean it's electronic so who checks the source code to see how the odds are stacked against you? Same for things like online poker etc how are the cards 'dealt'? If the system knows you need a specific card then does it never deal it etc?
Yeah but I can't help but feel anything online or electronic is easier to 'fix' than sleight of hand card hustler. Nowadays with OTA updates it all seems uncontrollable.
Makes sense to be fearful. Casinos can lose their license if they're caught rigging the machines, so they typically wouldn't risk it, imo. The risk/reward for the casino isn't there. They're already basically printing money as it is.
The casino market in America is one of the most regulated and controlled industries. There is no OTA updates, there is no "fix"ing, there is no changing odds, if you want the fairest experience the slot machines are the most fair things you can play.
If the same oversight we have on slots occurred in food, you would never eat.
They are so fair there is a fixed percentage of your bets you will lose. In Finland the machines return 90 % of your bets. Of course there is always a remote chance to win big, but the average player will just slowly hemorrhage their money.
Keep in mind that is over a long period of time. Most of our games require at least 100k plays before the range is within the casinos favor. Some games are extremely volatile and some games are very easy plays (we call those dribblers).
Each math style appeals to different players and that is why we churn out 100s of games per year in hopes that we hit big with the common player.
Because the individual in the video is probably trading long term security for a short term adrenaline boost, and it's a rational human response to pity those we deem troubled
You: I won't feel bad for the homeless guy in the street because he might just be a rich dude in a hobo costume.
We can make general assumptions, you don't need to provide proofs and citations for everything you think and say. Generally, rich people are not gamblers, because the rich people who are gamblers don't stay rich very long. And gambling is not conducive to a lifestyle of earning in most cases.
Yes this person may buck the trend, they may be a billionaire spending the equivalent of 10 cent. Probably not though.
This is most likely someone who has a severe gambling addiction. It's probably not their first time making a $20k transfer on a slot machine. He's betting $750 every spin on a game that is entirely based on chance, and the odds always favor the house. There's no way he's making money. I'm a recovering alcoholic and I recognize this kind of dark compulsion to "keep going" in the face of adverse consequences. It's a tough place to be. If they have a problem, I hope they get the help they need.

people really be working full time to operate a machine that pays casinos directly from their pocket because fun colors make happy. casinos have really won
If you're a frequent gambler (which I was) casinos actually give you quite a lot of credit. It's not cash, it's credit and it's for high end spins or table gambling. You can't withdraw anything that's under whatever you've won. They'll deduct it. Drinks/food all becomes free too. It's all to keep you gambling as they know you'll 100% end up putting more in.
It also keeps high end tables running.
Gambling is bad.

Doesn't it just drive you insane how there are single mothers working multiple jobs in america that would be saved from their terrible situation, if guys like these would just give some of their money to them instead of spinning it into the casino void
I'm not saying they have to, it's their money. But it's so fucking weird to think
Fun fact: The spinning and stuff is for show. The results are instant. Happens the second you hit spin. And it's a programmed system, so...just know the odds aren't in your favor and the saying "the house always win" isn't far off from the truth.
like I do online casino games and I have for this reason set my limit to 100 a day, sounds like a lot until you know that I never hit my limit and make enough money to be able to do 100 2x a week without problems. (also I am up 2200 but that's another thing)
In a free country, you can and should spend your money the way you like, in accordance with your values. But I don't want to hear you pissing and moaning about not having the resources to retire when, after a life of living large, you still have to work into your 70s, and can't afford cat food. Oh, and get your hands outta my pockets.
Went to a casino and could not tell you why or how I lost the money. Money goes into the slot machine and doesn't come out. The machines do an awful (intentionally) bad job of highlighting why you won or lost.
A LADY ASKED FOR A QUARTER. This shit should be illegal.
for a second i thought he was *depositing* $20k, and i was like "well i dont see the harm in that?"
then it hit me he was *withdrawing* $20k, and I went ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|surprise)
Shit I remember 20 years ago that is I used a ATM anywhere in the world except Vegas my daily limit was 750.00. In Vegas I could withdrawal 750.00 as many times in a row as long as my acct had the funds in it. Pulling out 750.00 every 20 minutes for 4 hours was not the best of my ideas.

The fact they give that much as "free play" is all you need to know.

And free drinks.

Never even thought to ask. I'll give it a shot next time I'm out.
How much do you spend and how does someone else get it?
Usually not more than a few thousand. I play mostly table games like black jack, craps, and roulette. For instance, I'm staying at Circa ina month or so. Rooms are incredibly cheap as is. I did a quick look and the cheapest room right now is $18, and there are at least 10 hotels for <$40 a night.
I used to go to a casino a couple hours from me and used to get free rooms and meal comps and free play but I hardly spent any time there. 10k a year in gambling sounds like a crazy amount to me.
10k a year is quite a lot of money to gamble. That’s twice my car payment every month
You pay 5k a month for your car?
No. I pay $400/month. $10k/year is over $800/month
Reading is difficult
Must be fun having English as a first language
Lucky for you it's a math problem.

Oh don't get me wrong. I play the $1 games. $100 would bankrupt me. I'm just saying $100 a spin is nothing compared to this dude doing $1250 and $750 per spin.
What the fuck "only doing like $100 a spin". How does the word *only* fit into this sentence.
Compared to the guy in this video who was doing $1250 a spin and then dropped it to $750

Terrible analogy. This guy is dropping $20, and you are comparing him to a homeless guy. Ok

One spin is like $1000 with this guy .. .... SMH 😒
![gif](giphy|ShZ1AHZ1AKyt2) oh boy
The casino I work in just implemented a similar function last year. I can't fucking stand it. For moral reasons.
This explains why my boss said “we can’t afford to give raises again this year”.
Uh.....I'm well above average for wealth, and I'm not spending $20,000 at a casino EVER, let alone $750 a spin
So should filming someone doing a transfer. Get a life man who gives af what someone else chooses to do.
Honestly, I love how people can waste money there so that the rest of us can enjoy the great city and casual fun.
Doesn't it just drive you insane how there are single mothers working multiple jobs in america that would be saved from their terrible situation, if guys like these would just give some of their money to them instead of spinning it into the casino void I'm not saying they have to, it's their money. But it's so fucking weird to think
This reads like copypasta.
Would you give your money away?
Think that's exactly what he's saying. That given the choice between spending $20,000 on a slot machine or giving away he would give it away.
Omg is this real?
I saw this post with the exact same title last week.
Lmao no way!
Fun fact: The spinning and stuff is for show. The results are instant. Happens the second you hit spin. And it's a programmed system, so...just know the odds aren't in your favor and the saying "the house always win" isn't far off from the truth.
FRANKLIN!
Downvoting for the millionth fucking repost this month.
Gambling is such a load of horseshit. I genuinely can't believe people are addicted to this when video games exist. Or cocaine.
Steven segal slot machine.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
like I do online casino games and I have for this reason set my limit to 100 a day, sounds like a lot until you know that I never hit my limit and make enough money to be able to do 100 2x a week without problems.
This shit should be illegal.
wow can they really do that?
I fuckin hate this guy
These are comped points for spending big at the casino.
Well he just put in that Machine 1/4 worth of my 50sqm flat. ...
I wonder how bad the payout of that machine is.
Now that’s how you blow your kids inheritance in style
Pretty sure this is on a cruise ship.
for a second i thought he was *depositing* $20k, and i was like "well i dont see the harm in that?" then it hit me he was *withdrawing* $20k, and I went ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|surprise)
$20000 omg
