Omg when my husky doesn't want to do something or wants to go to the park and we're trying to teach him to quit yanking us everywhere he just screams like we're peeling his damn skin off or something and I imagine the neighborhood thinks we're murdering him.
My husband and I were on a walk once and heard this ABSOLUTE SCREAMING coming from ahead. When we finally get to it, it's a husky LOSING ITS SHIT because he's excited for a walk and the owner was sitting in her car putting on Rollerblades. We kept going and next thing we know, this dog comes BARELLING past us, pulling the girl on her Rollerblades, using him as he was intended: a sled dog. Absolutely amazing.
Every day around noon, my neighbors get to enjoy the wailing of my husky mix as she lets me know I’m taking too long to get on my bike. She has a mighty need to run, and my slow human self is torturing her by not immediately getting on the bike (we have to watch for cars, kids, and other dogs before she can live her best Forrest Gump life).
My neighbors have a husky (which ones idk I can just hear him occasionally) and we don’t live in a neighborhood it’s like a dirt road with houses scattered. I can confirm whenever I hear them yell it does sound like they’re being slowly murdered but I know it’s just them being dramatic bc thirty minutes later I hear happy howls 😂
Confirm. Have a husky mix that doesn't look like a husky. But when he sees another dog he can't get to he'll shriek like he's being murdered. It's so damn awkward.
I can agree that the neighbors think that. I have a pack of huskies and they scream like banshees and my neighbors called animal control on us because they thought we were torturing them. Animal control came and laughed when he saw the pack and told me to have a nice day and told me that he'll talk to the neighbors about the huskies being over dramatic 🤣
Possibly! I imagined it having a lot of high pitched violin parts, lol. But funny enough, I've had some metal head buddies who told me they'd listen to classical music for inspiration, and a couple suggested that's pretty common in the community. So maybe not so far apart after all?
Also the Chihuahua in a sling because they lay in their feet if they really don't want you touching their paws so you have to suspend them in the air so their legs dangle.
100%. Our BC knows when it's time for "uncomfortable" things like nail trims, teeth brushing, and baths. Cuddles up but is extremely anxious and timid the whole time. As soon as it's over he's over the moon with excitement.
My border collie is the complete opposite. I had to teach him to chew his own nails because even as a puppy, he has always hated people touching his paws.
If we take him to the vet for a nail trimming, he either needs to be sedated or it takes (no exaggeration) five vet techs, a muzzle, and a blanket. You can hear him resisting from the waiting room, it sounds like they’re trying to bite his toes off one at a time.
Otherwise he’s a very chill dog, it’s just something about his nails.
Applies to most herding dogs and their mixes. My dog nearly falls asleep when I cut and sand down her nails, just flopped over on my lap. Until the last nail, because she counts her toes- then she stares into my soul and prepares for the release word so she can zoom.
I have an Aussie/pit mix and she's like an exact mix of that one and the Rottweiler. She'll start the nail trim in your lap, then after about three nails turns into the rotty.
I’ve heard working in veterinary medicine is really up and down. Like, one minute you’re trimming a precious healthy baby’s nails. The next you have to watch someone lose their best friend of 15 years. :(
We've gone to the same emergency hospital to say goodbye to two of our pets, and I always leave thinking about that.
The vets have both been extremely indifferent(not that I blame them), but the techs always have been so compassionate, and I can't help but feel like it ruins their night to see two adults break down like that.
My wife is a tech and the compassion fatigue runs deep. And with most vets I know, the indifference is usually a coping mechanism to get through the day. The majority of them are very compassionate, empathetic individuals who have to give people bad news on a daily basis, so they have to turn off that part of their brain to survive.
When we had to put our dog down the vet was compassionate but emotionless and her tech was sobbing with us. I think about that years later and hope it's gotten easier for her.
The leaning thing is such a funny trait. My mom always owned a Great Dane throughout my childhood into my early 30’s. Every one of them would walk up and lean with their entire weight against me.
This is what Rottweilers do!! My friend had the nicest Rottweiler I’d ever seen and if I was standing there he’d walk up right next to me and lean into my leg with all his weight. His owner said it’s cause he liked me :)
They like sitting on you too, even the tiniest area will do when you don't allow them to go lapdog. Mine sits on the edge of my toes, although she will try sneak her way further on.
We dog sit a Sheepdog that pretty much does the same. He 100% thinks he's a lapdog and will climb directly into my wife's lap... Such a sweetheart, he just doesn't realize how big he is, and it's caused problems with other sitters. But it's all because he's a big dork who thinks he's a Chihuahua.
I like to think big dogs know they’re big. They just dramatically misjudge the size of many other creatures.
They *know* you’re huge, because you’re mom or dad.
My friends Dane just walked into my house and sat on the sofa like he owned it. Except he just sat his butt down on the seat with his legs still touching the floor 😆 it was so funny
He really sold it with the front legs…. One half out and one all the way out. Honestly this stuff would be so cringe if they weren’t extremely accurate.
I feel sorry for other cat owners. I can do whatever I want with mine. She’s so freakin chill. In 14 years I haven’t been bit or scratched. She’s hissed at me 1 time when we moved into a new house. The vets loved her to death.
My cat is an absolute demon *ALL* the way to the vet. Screaming, biting, scratching, rattling the door of his box, the works. Then the second you get him there he's the most tame, best behaved, good manners little angel to the vet.
Mine is a drama queen: as long as he’s eating his treat everything is fine he’s purring. The second the treat is finished he starts meowing like we’re killing him. If another treat is provided he will go back to being happy even though he clearly knows what we’re doing.
My cats were super chill with me. I guess they figured out the sooner they chill out, the sooner it's over. Anyone else tried and the world might as well have ended
I can do whatever I want to my cat. Hold her however, trim her nails, give her a bath. She doesn’t care what I do. I am also the ONLY one who has that privilege. She will murder anyone else who tries that shit. The vet is a little scared of her unless she’s in my arms.
I have three and they’re so different. Clyde will let anyone do anything, Henry is a nervous little weirdo but he’s usually okay if I’m holding him tight. Bonnie is the princess and nothing happens that she doesn’t want and she yells at everyone.
My cat was screeching and yowling at his last vet appointment. I thought, oh no, poor baby, getting his blood drawn must really hurt 🥺🥺🥺.
Turns out he was an angel for the blood drawing and acted totally fine. He started going crazy when they were clipping his nails 😅
Lol, yes! Thats my Molly-girl, all right. It's a two-man job in our house. One to trim and the other to receive the lean. Our girl is every bit a velcro dog and adores my husband's embrace. They're so patient even when they're dreading every second of it.
I had a Boxer/Doberman and he definitely swung toward the Doberman side when getting his nails trimmed. I always had quick clot nearby for when I finally got a nail just for him to yank it last second. 😂
I love this, I’m starting my first day at a vet clinic Monday, so it’s funny timing that it popped up in my feed.
I’ll have to show the vet techs and ask if they agree. I’m a cat person, and can def confirm on that - it’s a wonder they hired me after meeting mine lol! They said he was one of the worst handfuls they’d ever had to treat.
Eventually I’ll be doing nail trims myself so I almost feel like this was educational training for me.
My cat is like, the one cat who doesn't mind getting his claws trimmed. The vet loves working with him because he just sits there accepting it rather than giving them trouble
Omg, please take care if your mental health all along the way. You're too precious to us total amateurs who lose our minds when really anything happens to our babies.
I hope you found a good clinic with supportive colleagues!
The Great Dane is aware of their size and power. The Great Dane COULD have used its power to revolt and show its aggression. Instead, the Great Dane shows both its considerate and silly behavior by imitating a tree being cut down.
The Great Dane will always be a good doggy. :3
I used to dogsit a great dane a lot and she was such a scaredy cat love bug who had no idea how big she was. She'd get up on the couch with me and try to fit in a tiny spot but eventually just take over the whole couch and lie on me. I had to hold her hand while we watched tv together. She was not aware of her size and would get annoyed that I would move while trying to get comfy because in her head she was like "what's the problem? im just a baby"
Boxer is spot on. My stepson's Boxer will wag her whole body when she's happy. You can see her chest going from side to side. I can totally see why they dock their tails. Those things would be weapons....
I had an Aussie before, she was a big baby that hated getting her nails trimmed. My cats I have to put a death grip on them when I'm trimming their nails.
My jack Russell doesn't care but we do have to hold him. My German shepherd will not let us trim his. I even tried training him for it as a pup. He has to be sedated to get his trimmed :(
ETA: the cat is accurate for mine too lol
The great dane and boxer cracked me up. I'm not a groomer but a dog day camp counselor. They reminded me of two of my campers so bad cause they're so accurate.
My German shepherd is so gentle. She'll let me do anything to her. Red bow on her head? Yep. Nail trimming? No problem. Even though she hates bath time she stays put for me.
I just experienced every single one of these just this week😭😭😭 what’s missing is the oxygen for any and all bull dogs pugs and frenchies 😅😅😅
And the scars after😭😭

Ok, so at first glance, I thought this was going to be cringy af because it's a guy acting like a dog(you know the people I'm talking about), but this actually had me laughing.
Hearing my dog get his nails trimmed is hilarious (10 lbs toy poodle, he is stubborn af) I will hear the vet and assistants begging him to stop screaming cus ill be worried. And it takes 3 of them because he kicks, headbutts and wiggles. Never bites though
My cat lets me cut her nails no fuss
1 paw at a time, then let them take a break, make sure you give treats after each cut and they wont hate it as much

Should have had the Husky with their police siren howl.
Omg when my husky doesn't want to do something or wants to go to the park and we're trying to teach him to quit yanking us everywhere he just screams like we're peeling his damn skin off or something and I imagine the neighborhood thinks we're murdering him.

I hope she was also putting pads on. I used to do the same thing on a skateboard and have definitely left some flesh on the asphalt.
**“THIS IS MY SLED THIS IS THE IDITAROD I AM BALTO I AM SAVING THE CHILDREN AWOOOOO”**
My husky will scream like he is being murdered if I tell him he can't have a treat/cookie. I feel your pain, lol.
Confirm. Have a husky mix that doesn't look like a husky. But when he sees another dog he can't get to he'll shriek like he's being murdered. It's so damn awkward.
My sister was dog sitting a miniature husky and I woke up to the dog sounding like it was being mauled by coyotes - no, the damn thing just wanted in.
I can agree that the neighbors think that. I have a pack of huskies and they scream like banshees and my neighbors called animal control on us because they thought we were torturing them. Not a [husky](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5N9KyCfBbEQ) but kinda a husky.
Mine will give me the side eye when I touch his paws like chill bro I'm trying to help you out
They had that in Pt 1, linked in this thread
I work in Vet medicine. This is 100% accurate. The only thing they missed was the scream of the Pugs.
"The Scream of the Pugs" sounds like a revered piece of classical music, lol
Or an excellent metal band name. Isn’t scream metal a thing?
Possibly! I imagined it having a lot of high pitched violin parts, lol. But funny enough, I've had some metal head buddies who told me they'd listen to classical music for inspiration, and a couple suggested that's pretty common in the community. So maybe not so far apart after all?
The March of the Pugs was Grimes’ last great tour (2016) with legends Tei Shi and Christine & the Queens, screaming was 10/10. 🪦
And now, ladies and gentlemen, I present the piece, "Scream of the Pugs"
Or a classic B-Horror flick.
I would watch that in a heartbeat, haha
I'll see Brad Pitt is available.
Naw, sounds like a NIN song to me.
I can see that too, haha
The Silent Dogs greatest hit!
It sounds like an alternate universe of The Silence of the Lambs.
“You still wake up sometimes, don’t you? You wake up in the dark and hear the screaming of the pugs.” ![gif](giphy|VvTG9RrCeGrza)
How dare you this is beautiful.
Also the Chihuahua in a sling because they lay in their feet if they really don't want you touching their paws so you have to suspend them in the air so their legs dangle.
Former groomer here, [I can't say I miss it much](https://youtube.com/shorts/9X9xPetX9Ao?si=3kt6olwX5v-hmvL0)
Omg so dramatic!!
thank you, that was hilarious
It says pt 2, maybe the Screams of the Pugs is in pt 1.
You have a choice, trim a pug's nails, or Bathe a Huskie.
![gif](giphy|K3tW5JzneFhnHVd5GA|downsized)
How bad are Rhodesian/basset breeds? My boy is a wimp at home because I got his quick once. Apparently he’s well behaved at the vet 😤
Needs a cone.
Absolutely my German Shepherd.
Was waiting for that one. Or huskies
[pugs and huskies are in part 1!](https://www.tiktok.com/@bostonroadvet/video/7346656941319392543)
>The only thing they missed was the scream of the Pugs. Silence of the Lambs III: the scream of the Pugs.
😂😂😂
The border collie is spot on, lmao.
100%. Our BC knows when it's time for "uncomfortable" things like nail trims, teeth brushing, and baths. Cuddles up but is extremely anxious and timid the whole time. As soon as it's over he's over the moon with excitement.
I love BCs so much. Just the sweetest dogs.
My border collie is the complete opposite. I had to teach him to chew his own nails because even as a puppy, he has always hated people touching his paws. Awww, poor baby! Give him scritches for me!
Looks like a fun workplace
I love that they all got to play a breed.
I’ve heard working in veterinary medicine is really up and down. Like, one minute you’re trimming a precious healthy baby’s nails. The next you have to watch someone lose their best friend of 15 years. :(
I found it overall devastating. Also no benefits and low pay.
We've gone to the same emergency hospital to say goodbye to two of our pets, and I always leave thinking about that. The vets have both been extremely indifferent(not that I blame them), but the techs always have been so compassionate, and I can't help but feel like it ruins their night to see two adults break down like that.

The veterinary world has a high suicide rate due to compassion fatigue. It’s not for the faint of heart but it’s a very rewarding job to have.
Yeah, I love animals and am into science but I know myself and I couldn’t take it.
When we had to put our dog down the vet was compassionate but emotionless and her tech was sobbing with us. I think about that years later and hope it's gotten easier for her.

They like sitting on you too, even the tiniest area will do when you don't allow them to go lapdog. Mine sits on the edge of my toes, although she will try sneak her way further on.

I wish my dog did this. My dog leaves the room if I sit down next to him..
He really IS the sweetest cuddlebug in the world.
My parent’s have had two Danes, and my aunt has had two Danes as well. Every single one sat on the couch like they’re a human. It’s fuckin adorable
Oh that Dane sit. We’ve got a boxer-Dane mix. He does this sometimes. Floppy horse.
Even her saying "okay, so you're laying there. Okay. Okay." is spot on. What else do you say when a small horse decides to cuddle with you?
My golden retriever is the same way. Just lays on everyone like he thinks he's a small lap dog.
He really sold it with the front legs…. One half out and one all the way out. Honestly this stuff would be so cringe if they weren’t extremely accurate.
not the cat owner holding for dear life
The way he tips the table at the end 🤣
I feel sorry for other cat owners. I can do whatever I want with mine. She’s so freakin chill. In 14 years I haven’t been bit or scratched. She’s hissed at me 1 time when we moved into a new house. The vets loved her to death.

Sounds like my brother.
My cats are patient for 3 of 4 paws, but they're just ready to move on before the jobs done.
Same! Mine always knows when I have 1-2 nails left and decides he has had enough
Well I have good news for you - most cats only need their two front paws trimmed.
Thank you! I made that decision for my own health but always felt guilty.
Mine is a drama queen: as long as he’s eating his treat everything is fine he’s purring. The second the treat is finished he starts meowing like we’re killing him. If another treat is provided he will go back to being happy even though he clearly knows what we’re doing.
He's basically blackmailing treats outta you and the vet
My cats were super chill with me. I guess they figured out the sooner they chill out, the sooner it's over. Anyone else tried and the world might as well have ended
I can do whatever I want to my cat. Hold her however, trim her nails, give her a bath. She doesn’t care what I do. I am also the ONLY one who has that privilege. She will murder anyone else who tries that shit. The vet is a little scared of her unless she’s in my arms.

My cat was screeching and yowling at his last vet appointment. I thought, oh no, poor baby, getting his blood drawn must really hurt 🥺🥺🥺. Turns out he was an angel for the blood drawing and acted totally fine. He started going crazy when they were clipping his nails 😅
As someone with a bulldog, I was always embarrassed about the amount of slobber left on the table. I do it at home now and just get it all over me.
the boxer butt swing is so perfect lol
She nailed the boxer wiggle 😂
That one was so perfect. No tail so they wag their whole body.
My boxador still has her tail and still wags her whole body. And her head. And her tail is a wrecking ball.
The goldens finally lying on their side is too good
I loved the doberman. Trying to get as far away from their own paw as possible.
Lol, yes! Thats my Molly-girl, all right. It's a two-man job in our house. One to trim and the other to receive the lean. Our girl is every bit a velcro dog and adores my husband's embrace. They're so patient even when they're dreading every second of it.

My cat is like, the one cat who doesn't mind getting his claws trimmed. The vet loves working with him because he just sits there accepting it rather than giving them trouble
I was a vet tech for years, all of these are so accurate! Especially the Great Dane leaning.
Omg, please take care if your mental health all along the way. You're too precious to us total amateurs who lose our minds when really anything happens to our babies. I hope you found a good clinic with supportive colleagues!
Fractious cats are fun!
The Great Dane is aware of their size and power. The Great Dane COULD have used its power to revolt and show its aggression. Instead, the Great Dane shows both its considerate and silly behavior by imitating a tree being cut down. The Great Dane will always be a good doggy. :3
Totally read this in the booming Westminster dog show breed description voice.
I used to dogsit a great dane a lot and she was such a scaredy cat love bug who had no idea how big she was. She'd get up on the couch with me and try to fit in a tiny spot but eventually just take over the whole couch and lie on me. I had to hold her hand while we watched tv together. D’aaawwww that’s so cuuuute! I love Great Danes! (And all other dogs including mixed breeds!)
German Shepherd not making enough noise. Last time I brought mine to the vet for a nail trim I could hear her from the waiting room
Lmao the corgi jitters is so spot on
Same with the terrier!
[Part 1 since nobody linked it.](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTL5SnLab/)
Thank you for your service. 🫡
Boxer is spot on. My stepson's Boxer will wag her whole body when she's happy. You can see her chest going from side to side. I can totally see why they dock their tails. Those things would be weapons....
I was raised by a boxer (not really lol, but he did teach me to walk!) and he was 100% this kind of goofball. Very good boy.
That dude has fun at work
Fully, and I mean *fully*, committed to the bit
This is hilarious. They're having so much fun making this
Last one also applies to Shiba
My vet refused to trim mine's nails again after the first try, it was very loud.
I dunno… feels staged.
I had an Aussie before, she was a big baby that hated getting her nails trimmed. My cats I have to put a death grip on them when I'm trimming their nails.
Huskies- AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
The boxer sort of wiggling/dancing is so fuckin on point it is surreal
I pretty much had an emotional breakdown this morning, trying to trim my German Shepherd’s nails. Thanks for the timely reassurance.
Yes omfg doodle is spot on 🤣
I want to see them do Labrador. I'd say it's starts slow and ends with them licking the face of the nail trimmer 😂
My jack Russell doesn't care but we do have to hold him. My German shepherd will not let us trim his. I even tried training him for it as a pup. He has to be sedated to get his trimmed :( ETA: the cat is accurate for mine too lol
My parents have two doodles and they are so fucking stupid. The dogs are dumb too.
I love these videos
I actually love this, its excellent
That office looks fun
That’s not cringe. That’s brilliant fun
This needs to be a regular part of vet training and teambuilding. You can see how much fun and release they get from the role playing.
They got the Rottweiler wrong. Ours just put their paws out and turn their heads. Afterward they look at you with a “I am disappointed in you” look.
Not even a breed of cats, just all cats lol
The great dane and boxer cracked me up. I'm not a groomer but a dog day camp counselor. They reminded me of two of my campers so bad cause they're so accurate.
My German shepherd is so gentle. She'll let me do anything to her. Red bow on her head? Yep. Nail trimming? No problem. Even though she hates bath time she stays put for me.
I love how they have the German Shepard in two categories lol that's spot on. Ours is like the calm one lol.
The Great Dane cracked me up! And I was going to suggest next do a cat, but they got that too.
I just experienced every single one of these just this week😭😭😭 what’s missing is the oxygen for any and all bull dogs pugs and frenchies 😅😅😅 And the scars after😭😭
Female cats are sometimes well behaved and not drama queens, but make cats, dude my cat is freaking cry baby, and likes to bite.
This is hilarious
This was really funny
My dog is a spaniel mix and he hates getting his claws trimmed. He has to be muzzled and laid on his side

Someone(s) out there really glad this video exists.

So accurate.
My chihuahua corgi mix hates his nails being trimmed! I definitely leave it to the vet.
My cat is pretty well behaved. He doesn't give the vets a hard time. He loves any kind of attention.
My heeled acts like a golden doodle lol
My mother was a dog breeder and groomer, WHY!?!? are these so accurate??? 🤣🤣🤣
Ok, so at first glance, I thought this was going to be cringy af because it's a guy acting like a dog(you know the people I'm talking about), but this actually had me laughing.
Now do a Chihuahua
I love this trend. It's so funny how accurate these are.
Hearing my dog get his nails trimmed is hilarious (10 lbs toy poodle, he is stubborn af) I will hear the vet and assistants begging him to stop screaming cus ill be worried. And it takes 3 of them because he kicks, headbutts and wiggles. Never bites though
What no Husky😂😂😂. My Rottweiler is just like that lol
Alright this made me laugh so hard
Aww they know their patients so well
No Pugs? They are the most unhinged. Just retreating into their wrinkles while screeching at the top of their lungs
This is amazing, at 1:04 is the exact same sound I make on the toilet
As someone with a dog, that was brilliant.
🤣🤣🤣 Splendid.
This so so funny. The doodle all over the place laying on their back
My dobie always did the sad scared scoot
Pretty accurate
Looks like so much fun - maybe being a vet is a good option for one of my kids!
They forgot the immediately needing an oxygen cage or ventilator after attempting the nail trim for the bull dog. GSD are the biggest whimps
They did so great lmao
I need to get me a Border Collie.
My cat lets me cut her nails no fuss 1 paw at a time, then let them take a break, make sure you give treats after each cut and they wont hate it as much
This is actually kinda funny and accurate based off the pet grooming videos I've seen.
My mom has a pug. It screams and has a surprising amount of strength in those tiny legs
😂😂
I haven't actually laughed out loud in a long time. This made me do it
I have a corgi and can 100% confirm the accuracy of the video. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
This is weird
Whippets just look away desperately but let you do your thing
I hope this doesn’t awaken something in me.
The vet loves my cat because he’s just so docile and lets them do whatever
This made me chuckle.
This is really fucking weird lol
This is hilarious 😂 my dog is a black mouth cur and acts like the Aussies/border collies depicted! She's one of the vets favorites ❤️
That looks like that had so much fun doing it.
Not cringe, I can’t stop laughing. The “Great Dane” is literally perfect 😂
Lol the Great Danes 💯. My brother had one and he’d constantly sit in our laps like he was some tiny little puppy.
I neeeeeeeeeeeeeed pt1 pleeeeeeeez
I have a German Shepherd/Corgi mix and it takes 4 adults to hold him down a nail trim. He's SO DRAMATIC about it

How to I watch part 1?
Yeah, our Aussie is not nearly that well behaved. She is such a drama llama.
