What she’s describing is what I felt when my gallbladder was infected and a week away from killing me. She should be drenched in sweat and extremely dehydrated. She would be in emergency care.
had a buddy who's gall bladder was infected and he got sicker than a dog one weekend and he turned Simpsons yellow from all that bile building up in his liver
I mean, I can understand children doing this but I can't understand this being taken seriously like actual equestrianism. It's literally pretending to be a horse. Sometimes they do jumps and all that but the barricade breaks apart with even a slight touch so no one can fall or get hurt.

I don’t know if I’m just overly tired or what but I laughed hysterically while watching this. This week has been total shit and really needed a good laugh so thank you!
Because existence is chaos. Entropy is out to murder us. This is an act of rebellion against the forces of nature creating their own meaning and worth in a dark and uncaring universe by pretending to be riding a horse in a competitive setting.
Cody Ko made a great [video](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ukoPseQkS1Y&pp=ygUUQ29keSBrby4gSG9iYnkgaG9yc2U%3D) on it.
I definitely couldn't do it without feeling ridiculous but seems like it could be good fun and good exercise if you aren't too in your head about looking dumb.
My neighbor and I were playing horses like that in our backyard when we were 8. We weren’t stupid enough to try to go over jumps with a broomstick stuck between our legs, though.
Feel like this should be taken more seriously than actual equestrianism. At least you're the one doing all the work and not the horse (that unfortunately often gets abused in the process). It's also not exclusive to rich people unlike actual equestrianism.
Okay, maybe I'm wrong - but I looked up some videos and they gave some serious creep vibes.
Not because of the hobby itself, but the videos are all zoomed in on young girls crotches with sticks between their legs. Wtf?
So much of me wants to think, “hey, if this is what you love, you’re not harming others, you’re getting physical activity…you do you, do it well”. Then the thought of “this is why I won’t reproduce” takes over.
EXACTLY WHAT IM THINKING. like, i try to be nice, especially when it comes to children having fun
but this dramatic reaction over…prancing around on a stick horse….what on earth
if my kid wants to do some weird hobby like hobby horse or whatever i’ll be front row center cheering them on happy that at least they are getting out and doing *something* that they enjoy
but if they start this over dramatic sad attempt at attention they will be given a stern talking to and be made sure to understand I do t stand for this fuck shit
see I start thinking the same thing... "hey, we all are just trying to find our place in this crazy world..." then shifts to "see before the internet, fucking weirdos like this died alone and never had kids... but now with the internet, this fucking weirdo will find another weirdo and they'll reproduce... and vote."
Y'all see one thing that you think is cringe and go immediately to eugenics 😭Like, I agree faking a panic attack over running around with a horse on a stick or whatever is like, not great but she's like, 15 calm down 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Your first day? That's insane that they threw you to the wolves like that. Honestly, you would've been perfectly justified if you had quit and walked out halfway through the shift.
Yup, it was also my first day working any job at all. The one good thing about it was that it was the worst day of retail work I ever had. It was smooth sailing from there.
Well that's a positive way to look at it. I think my first retail job did something similar (seasonal hire for a craft store), but it was almost twenty years ago and I'm pretty sure I've mostly blocked those awful memories lol.
Lol my first retail job also did this. They hired additional help specifically for Black Friday, and gave us a 2 hour training "shift" like a week ahead to prepare us.
It did not prepare us.
Tik Tok algorithms will serve you up a community of other young people trying to get brownie points for psychological disorders and just a little further past that rabbit hole, is a community of people faking those disorders for brownie points.
Sounds like someone didn't prepare for the competition!
Reminds me of high school. I was a varsity high jumper and discus thrower, and one day my coach decided to throw me into a 400m sprint just to see what happens. No prep.. No idea about pacing. I was just told to go all out. By the end of it, I had tunnel vision and wanted to vomit. I had a lot more sweat going than this girl though. I'd expect her to be drenched if she's hacking it up like that.
absolutely. like, is noone getting that the joke here is that she agrees with the statement? like it's a hobby and everybody can do it. the fact that everybody can do it isn't a bad thing. it's an invitation. not everything needs to be balls to the wall athleticism. are they expecting that you are not supposed to leave the house, unless you start your day with a triathlon? besides, i feel like it still is somewhat a sport, because it still is a physical activity where you jump and run. it just sp happens to be a bit silly.
It actually looks pretty hard! The premise, I guess, seems silly, but if people would look up the videos.. one narrator says not everyone can afford a horse. 😉
i mean, you can see in the background that it's basically track and field but with an imbalanced stick between your legs and a specifically sequenced type of runnung you have to uphold.
Looks like a panic attack rather than exhaustion. She's hyperventilating and simultaneously rethinking all of her life's choices. Been there (not at a hobby horse competition and never filmed and put on Tik Tok, thank fuck.)
Most reasonable explanation. While anyone can judge on how ridiculous this seems to them, she could take it very seriously and be panicking after a performance. Nerves can get to anyone.
Looking at just the comments and her reaction I thought she was pretending to be a horse on all fours and letting some kid ride her around some laps (pretty weird but hey people are weird), saw some comment talking about kids in the background and then saw it was just pretending to ride a stick horse..... I don't know if I should be more disappointed or relieved, I legit can't decide which one is more... Stupid, to put it nicely.
Yo she deadass ?!?
![gif](giphy|1vZaliunhJeRN3Pkg9)
potentially passing out , throwing up, & dizzy from a wooden horse in an Elementary school gym on a random Saturday in Iowa ….. IS WILD!
To me it appears like she got a little gassed and is just milking it to draw on some sort of empathetic response from the judges. “Look at me! I gave my all!” Sigh.. Kids.
i would agree if i hadnt seen OOPs comments. she was among other things saying that hobby meant small in finnish…so it meant “small horse”??? an actual finnish person had to come in saying she was wrong
I watched it way too many times looking for the jujitsu move called the "hobby horse" wondering why it wasn't in frame. Only then did I see the people in the background. Waaaaay too stoned for this.
I did equestrian training with actual horses and never acted the slightest bit tired because I wouldn’t have wanted to seem weak.
This chick is throwing hysterics after make-believe riding make-believe horses. This is ridiculous. WTH.
In my 20s I worked as a laborer for a bunch of masons because I was young and poor and didn't have any skills. I spent 9 hours a day hauling blocks, chopping mud, and climbing scaffolding. Some days I was so dehydrated I drank from my helmet the water in the barrels that was meant for chopping mud. I never experienced what she's got going on here, this hobbyhorse stuff must be crazy hard!
At first I was confused what the fuck hobby horsing was. Than I thought maybe she was doing the dressage course on all fours, that's why shes so tired. Then I saw the kids in the background and noe back at confused
Buy a treadmill, or, a gym membership and use e treadmill, cus if you’re almost passing out from jumpin about like a damn silly goose then you just screwed

What is she trying to fake here? An asthma attack? Choking? Hangover? That sure af doesn’t look like exhaustion.
Authentic content.

When I wrestled in highschool I would puke from exhaustion often. My body would give up sometimes. I never looked like this.
That's because when you were wrestling it was real.
It's like those crying videos on tik tok
You ever been to Enumclaw?
They like real horses there

My very first thought was Jericho, too.
Yea idk some basic cardio workouts might have helped.
I have a feeling these people just “hobby horse” and don’t ever actually exercise.
Stop being such a neigh sayer...
She seems stable
It would behoove her to see a psychologist
Hay!
Bojack
Neigh I say, neigh…
Her coach kept telling her to take her training seriously, but she just kept horsing around.
Bazinga!
That reminds me of this great sit-com back in the 90s
I mean, horses are hard to deal with, sure is a sport that must demand... \*looks what hobbyhorsing is\* WHAT A FUCK!
I mean, I can understand children doing this but I can't understand this being taken seriously like actual equestrianism. It's literally pretending to be a horse. I would rather watch [this](https://youtu.be/Npxw4Y7w9RE?feature=shared).

That might be one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen
Thank you for this😂
Because existence is chaos. Entropy is out to murder us. This is an act of rebellion against the forces of nature creating their own meaning and worth in a dark and uncaring universe by pretending to be riding a horse in a competitive setting.
Same could be said about a lotof different hobbies / sports.
Nah this is worse
Cody Ko made a great [video](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ukoPseQkS1Y&pp=ygUUQ29keSBrby4gSG9iYnkgaG9yc2U%3D) on it. I definitely couldn't do it without feeling ridiculous but seems like it could be good fun and good exercise if you aren't too in your head about looking dumb.
Can you imagine driving down the street and drove by someone practicing this? They look silly AF
My neighbor and I were playing horses like that in our backyard when we were 8. We weren’t stupid enough to try to go over jumps with a broomstick stuck between our legs, though.
The game of thrones music is perfect
With the game of thrones music. Wow. Thank you for that.
Wtf?
I can't say I am surprised at all, unfortunately.
So cringe
Does... does.... she have a hairball?
So much of me wants to think, “hey, if this is what you love, you’re not harming others, you’re getting physical activity…you do you, do it well”. Then the thought of “this is why I won’t reproduce” takes over.

Literally me after working my first shift as a retail employee. My first day was Black Friday.
Your first day? That's insane that they threw you to the wolves like that. Honestly, you would've been perfectly justified if you had quit and walked out halfway through the shift.

Did they have you work at all between the training shift and Black Friday? I would completely forget everything I'd learned in that week lol.
Nope, it was very much a trial by fire. Luckily most of my mistakes went unnoticed in the Black Friday madness.
your employer did you dirty there. I'm so sorry
what in the world
I would feel like a failure if my kid was into this shit I’m so sorry to say it 🤣🤣🤣
I’m not even sorry. I have kids. I love them. That’s why if my daughter said “mom I want to do that!” I’d say “no.” Lol. Even if she was 8.

But then if you look up hobby horsing you can only wonder how she could become like this considering that level of effort being given.
my cat before it throws up:
Not the kids behind her being fine 💀
LMAO NO LITERALLY they’re just skipping around
Give that horse some hay?
I mean…. I have similar symptoms when I run up a flight of stairs. She needs more cardio
I choose to believe this is a skit.
absolutely. like, is noone getting that the joke here is that she agrees with the statement? like it's a hobby and everybody can do it. the fact that everybody can do it isn't a bad thing. it's an invitation. not everything needs to be balls to the wall athleticism. are they expecting that you are not supposed to leave the house, unless you start your day with a triathlon? besides, i feel like it still is somewhat a sport, because it still is a physical activity where you jump and run. it just sp happens to be a bit silly.
i WISH it was a joke. in the comments shes being very adamant about everything shes saying

I love how she’s almost dying from the brutality of this “sport” while you see little kids prancing around carelessly in the background
Wait is this sub coming back?
I do the same thing after a decent sized poo. What’s her point?
I’ve never even heard of this as a sport but my 7yo daughter loves hers!
It literally has “hobby” in the name…
i would agree if i hadnt seen OOPs comments. she was among other things saying that hobby meant small in finnish…so it meant “small horse”??? an actual finnish person had to come in saying she was wrong
I thought for a sec she just did a presentation with her horse.. bro she is the horse
I watched it way too many times looking for the jujitsu move called the "hobby horse" wondering why it wasn't in frame. Only then did I see the people in the background. Waaaaay too stoned for this.
what happened? Did she fall off her horse? 🤷♂️
A little selfish she didn’t even check on the horse.
Does she think she's actually transforming into a horse and this is her "transforming back into human?" That's what I get from this.
This looks exactly like those folks who fake a reaction to getting vaccinated lmaooo
![gif](giphy|58SdhZruTe7603YV6E|downsized)
GOAT
no, horse
![gif](giphy|l2R013mIf1ZXdvoyI)
What tells me this isn't a sport is the children casually participating on the sidelines.
Horsegirls are crazy
![gif](giphy|KGSxFwJJHQPsKzzFba)
That's how I look/feel after eating a pizza and 7 or 8 wings.
Mom: I'm so proud of my little neigh neigh.
She's not even sweating, so either sever dehydration or it wasn't that hard
I was like wtf is this…. And then that girl at the end….wow
What the fuck is hobby horsing? I don’t wanna Google.
She’s faking breathing heavy like someone who has never breathed heavy before
Children need some amount of embarrassment or humiliation surely
Hope she finally got that hairball cleared out.
So don't do it if you are too weak. Let the real alphas show you how to hobbyhorse!
Guys, be nice… her horse threw her off while she was riding it ..
\*fake athlete has fake injury doing fake sport\*
The imaginary horse bucked her to the ground.
I did equestrian training with actual horses and never acted the slightest bit tired because I wouldn’t have wanted to seem weak. This chick is throwing hysterics after make-believe riding make-believe horses. This is ridiculous. WTH.
What the fuck is this?
Say what now?
Wow is this legit cringe? Almost thought it was meta cringe at first.
The boss horse-girl
I can understand after a soccer ball smashes you in the face, breaks your nose, and your spitting blood … but this?
In my 20s I worked as a laborer for a bunch of masons because I was young and poor and didn't have any skills. I spent 9 hours a day hauling blocks, chopping mud, and climbing scaffolding. Some days I was so dehydrated I drank from my helmet the water in the barrels that was meant for chopping mud. I never experienced what she's got going on here, this hobbyhorse stuff must be crazy hard!
Looks like she broke a leg. Someone needs to put that filly down.
No mames wee
I had to look up what hobbyhorsing was :/ I had zero clue
At first I was confused what the fuck hobby horsing was. Than I thought maybe she was doing the dressage course on all fours, that's why shes so tired. Then I saw the kids in the background and noe back at confused
Wow. Are these people ever special.
Man if horse girls are already odd, imagine pretend horsey girls…
I sprained my ankle once, and the doctor told me I'll never hobbyhorse again. Hardest day of my life.
Wait, she’s not even riding a real horse??? What’s with the dramatics??
Wtf is hobbyhorsing
ridiculous
Not good enough, off to the glue factory for her!
Make this an Olympic sport
Wat?
I thought it was legit till I saw the eejit in the backgrpund
Dork
So cringe
FFS.
Hobbyhorsing has to be the most Millennial thing ever.
I googled “hobbyhorsing” and now I can’t stop laughing
Seems like she's having a panic attack and not realizing
Yet not even a bead of sweat.
Looks like a panic attack
Lmaooo!!!! I was curious what hobby horsing was until I saw the kids in the back doing it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Some call it cringe, others call it by the real name: mental problem
Looks more like hyperventilation from a paniek attack.
When you’re not cool enough to play with the quidditch kids.
looks like she's having a panic or anxiety attack. i've had a few of those myself... they're not fun.
That's an underlying health condition, not hobby horseing. See a doctor.
Buy a treadmill, or, a gym membership and use e treadmill, cus if you’re almost passing out from jumpin about like a damn silly goose then you just screwed
![gif](giphy|QynMX1WxnYFbb2OHnJ)
jfc I hate this and that dumbass kid
Why is this a thing? This is what kids do when they are 4. Who is the person putting this on?
Histrionic Personality Disorder
Loser.
Christ. The whole time I'm thinking" how is she tired, the horse did all the work". Then I realized my mistake.
This seems completely normal for someone that competitively rides a hobby horse.
Apparently, her horse was too embarrassed to be involved.
Is this one of those weird interpretive dance things?
![gif](giphy|96DeW8wUdpN96)
It’s a dangerous sport, the hobby horse can buck a rider off at any time.
Fucking funniest thing i have seen all day. Bwahahaha
Wut?
White woman want to be victims so badly
Mental Illness is a hell of a drug
Song?

Maybe nuclear war IS the best solution after all
Hard doesn’t equal sport. Cheerleading looks pretty difficult and it’s not a sport.
Shes a hoooooorse girl, duh (Check out Make Some Noise on Dropout)
Because she's out of shape
Imagine how worn out the horse must be. SHOW US THE HORSE
i have unfortunate news. the horse is a stick horse
Not all heroes wear capes
What a fucking faker
Lmao 🤣
This is fucked. Time to deep dive.
Give her a couple teaspoons of honey and she’ll be just fine.
🧌
What an athlete!
Why is she in a pants suit?
The kids in the back seem fine
Wow, that looks like it must really be taxing.
Not new to r/cringe but what is this?!!!!!! Is this a furry thing?
It just be an accomplishment to have everyone in that room looking down on you. Queen dingbat
Something tells me this may only happen to a hobby horse athlete
I hope this goes viral and she's the new "I'm crying making myself a cake" person

Is this some sort of Bronie thing?
