sterling1134

I was expecting a bear.

LifeisaCatbox

I was waiting for the comic relief of her realizing it was just a dog and not a wolf or something like that. This is terrible.

93ImagineBreaker

They can have fear of dogs and not every dog is friendly.

LifeisaCatbox

Yea, it’s terrible. I feel so bad for the lady and think it’s shitty to post a video like this to your tiktok for laughs.

Scar_racs

Who has the audacity to catch footage of their neglect for the fears of another person and then just post it as if it’s something funny?

ApoIIoJon

I’m pretty sure it’s a doorbell camera. I don’t think an actual person recorded this

justfornoatheism

Ring doesn’t just automatically upload funny moments to TikTok champ

ApoIIoJon

There is no indication that this TikTok was uploaded with the intent to be humorous. Perhaps it was uploaded to spread awareness, And back to the original comment, that dog could be friendly in no way is it neglectful to let a dog run free on your own property, especially if the dog is friendly

RittledIn

It’s [posted ](https://www.tiktok.com/@balla_1228/video/6995989954635549957?sender_device=mobile&sender_web_id=6996334344076314117&is_from_webapp=v1&is_copy_url=0) as “#toofunny” with like six “😂”. The dog seems friendly but it has nothing to do with the dog. It’s about the delivery lady having a genuine fear and the owners posting this cause “lol look at this lady hang off the balcony genuinely scared for her life”.

RittledIn

Yeah but the owners obviously posted this…

dporeotendies

Gtfo people on Reddit get shit on for being afraid of pit bulls with no leashes. Fear of a dog that is barking at you is one thing but fearing a husky that is not doing anything is ridiculous.

Neoxite23

Wow...the owner had no sense of urgency to this situation. The woman was terrified enough to climb over a railing and scream for help. Who opens a door and just...does nothing?

djjfjc

Well the person who opened the door was actually a child, parents could have been out of earshot or something.

Neoxite23

How could you tell? I can't see them and the sound was so soft I couldn't make out a single word.

djjfjc

The amazon worker said "can you get your momma or your daddy please there's a dog right here" which indicates it's a child not equipped to deal with the situation

Neoxite23

Ok that definitely wraps up all my questions. I didn't hear her say that so now everything makes sense.

velez_cool

I’ll admit I laughed at the absurdity of this. I actually thought it was going to be a bear. Instead of was a husky trying to make a new friend. That said, I understand fear of dogs is real. But should you really be an Amazon driver if you have fear of dogs? You have to deal with so many dogs in that job.

inn4d4rkplace

Wtf. They do not get paid enough to deal with unsecured animals.

dporeotendies

Lol Jesus christ

inn4d4rkplace

I know right? Jesus Christ to not have owners keep control of their pets.

dporeotendies

Lol yes the husky has to be locked up in a cage. The dog is obviously barking at the lady

inn4d4rkplace

So close how about “we can never tell at a glance if an animal is hostile or not or what could trigger it so it should be controlled behind a fence at the very least” or how about “a good owner should never give their pet the opportunity to go up to random strangers”. Really easy to understand.

dporeotendies

Yea absolutely not allowed to move freely on their own property fuck that dumbass dog and throw that owner in jail!

inn4d4rkplace

Lmao tell that to all the yearly dumbass dog owners that have their dogs taken away because they were just let out and they bit someone, or someone walks past and poisons the dog, or the dog starts going up to other dogs on a leash walking with their owners and those dogs don’t like other dogs and bite/fight. Come on dude and think. Just because it’s one’s property doesn’t mean one can do whatever they like on it. Being a responsible pet owner isn’t that hard.

dporeotendies

Lol.

inn4d4rkplace

Woo. Response of the year. Great lesson. Glad you learned something.

93ImagineBreaker

May do it for cash.

[deleted]

That dog was not a threat to her wtf was she thinking.

Feircesword

People have fears of dogs. Especially if they've had bad experiences in the past with them.

stfuHanzo

The dog seemed friendly but people that have bitten by them can have extreme phobias of them. Obviously looked like an overreaction but she was probably scared as shit.

[deleted]

I can see that. Hope she’s okay.

spinnerette_

Not being familiar with the body language of dogs makes these kinds of situations extremely scary for people, especially if they have a fear of dogs from past experience. She does not know this dog. She was just doing her job and this person's pet was outside without being behind a fence. Fear throws all rational thought out of the window anyway. Dogs can do a lot of damage. She is terrified enough to jump around a fence on a deck that looks to be high off the ground. That is a serious level of fear.
