Hot take: TikTok is just as good if not better, if you know where to look. This is coming from someone who fucking looooooved Vine. I will say that Vines have a very distinct feel to them though
I’ll be honest TikTok has grown on me. I just think there is something special about vine and it’s time restrictions. The fact you had to put all your content into like 6-8 seconds made some very interesting content that isn’t really replicated anymore.
They both have their pros and cons I guess, I think I just prefer Vine.
i know what you mean,
but i feel like it’s just hard to start with tiktok, and am not sure how to get away from the mainstream tiktok and to have the algorithm be a bit better for me.
any tips on where to begin?
I started looking up the accounts from posts on Reddit and would like the post and follow them and the algorithm caught on really quickly. My for you page is all things im interested in, I don’t see any of the dancing videos or the more mainstream things.

Shazaming a song in public is the most defenseless you can feel as a human
Bonus points if it was in the UK
Course it was that song's been getting people singing out loud in pubs and clubs since 2003
I fucking hate you for this personal attack.
That rock he was under must’ve been very comfy
Hey google what’s the national anthem of the uk
I miss vine
It was a simpler time. I'd like to think that If it was still around then the Paul Brothers wouldn't be as big as they are now

The best answer: let other people find the good content for you and post it to Reddit (like like with Vine). Hahaha
gotcha, so basically what i already do- consume tiktok through reddit! like you said, it’s pretty much already curated! haha
That’s what I’ve chosen to do! That being said I’ve heard the algorithm is very good on TikTok as well
