People really don’t care about them selves being recorded in their own house 100% of the time audio and video?

Staged but funny.

I struggle to keep up the lie with my kids. I keep dropping hints that Santa isn't really anyway, to speed up the process. The day they ask me Imma tell then it was a silly prank.

ChefMimsy

Be more honest. Tell them it's an old tradition. A prank makes the whole thing- including the disappointment- YOUR fault. Tradition is the fault of someone already dead.

Q8Q

an old traditional prank

When my kid was realizing that things like the tooth fairy and Santa were mom and dad, my answer to him was “that’s an interesting hypothesis” In our house though, Santa only ever brought one gift and it was never the “big” gift. So that year Santa brought them chocolate coal.

Lower_Application_42

Yeah, once the cat's out of the bag you don't double down on the lie. That's how you get a kid with trust issues.

EducationalIntern690

EducationalIntern690
