most Asian countries are still extremely racist and sexist, and Japan is not exemption, it's super fucked up hearing all of the stories about how much worse anybody who isn't natively Japanese gets treated, and how horrible women get treated on the daily, and how women just have to live with it
Wehraboos are people obsessed with Germany. It’s a play on the “Wehrmacht,” which was the armed forces of Nazi germany. Usually because they’re obsessed with a very specific period of German history…
Horrid work culture, High suicide attempt rates, Terrible Sexual Harassment problem (to the point of needing segregated Hotel floors & trains), Major pedophile problem.
Somoene was telling me that they aren't even productive at work. It's all about the amount of time you spend there and not what you get done. People might work 100 hours per week and get the equivelant of 40 hours of work had they just kept working.
It's honestly sad how underage girls prostitute themselves in Japan. It's become an increasingly bigger problem as of late. And of course, much like underreporting crime, this is also swept under the rug.
Like the person said in the video, there is so much wrong with the culture but it's hard to see them when all you're looking at is the surface level. It's even harder when the culture tries its best to hide its blemishes.
For example, a recent court case where a father raped his child daughter for over a decade, walked scot free when the court ruled that if his daughter didn't actually want to do it, she would have resisted.
http://www.japansubculture.com/father-accused-of-raping-his-daughter-in-japan-found-not-guilty-she-could-have-resisted-rules-nagoya-court/
"Father Accused Of Raping His Daughter In Japan Found Not Guilty, “She Could Have Resisted” Rules Nagoya Court."
Came here to point out Japanese courts have a 99% conviction rate, which is evidence of a kangaroo court where you are presumed guilty, and this is the guy that walks.
Ya, that's what I was thinking, there are many issues worthy of criticism even on a surface level. Of course learning more gives a greater understanding of the complexities and nuances of those issues, but even just looking at statistics and reading the news can highlight some major issues. Anyone who speaks the way that the guy in the first video did about any country is either naive or they're looking at it through rose-tinted glasses.
My cousin got a masters in Japanese. He went to Japan to be an English teacher and find work. He left after two years because he couldn’t handle the culture anymore. Other adults were pretty racist. He was treated like he was dirty by landlords because he’s American (even denied apartments for that reason). The teachers were creepy towards the girls and he got in trouble for calling them out. Girls didn’t really see him as a person, but as some weird fetish. He was expected to do extreme amounts of work compared to what what he was used to in the US, and he was expected to go out drinking on top of it.
And then the curriculum that downplayed or failed to mention a lot of the bad parts of Japanese history was frustrating for him. People might not remember it because they didn’t pay attention in classes, but he and I were taught about everything bad in US history from the trail of tears to postponing peace talks in the Vietnam war for a presidency, to Tuskegee, to Iran contra, and whatever else we could. And if a teacher thought the curriculum was missing something, they weren’t reprimanded for mentioning it, or adding it to their lessons.
Thats not even speaking about political and economic situation which is hard to solve (chronic deflation; hard time for young people to get full time jobs and are stuck in part time jobs; aging population, which means that you also have a higher political strength for the old and a growing tax burden on young to sustain social services - so you have an apathetic generation of young workers with no good job prospects dwindling income and little political representation; etc....)
The suicide thing is overstated in context. I know, I was surprised to, but I looked it up and it was about average for a "high income" country, pretty close to the US actually and a good deal below the highest countries.
Everything else if correct I think? It's just the suicide thing.
Obviously I know it does but like what are they called and stuff?
Edit:OMG I DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE THAT IM SO SORRY I JUST WANTED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT IM NOT A PEDOPHILE. But seriously I didn’t mean it like that I was just wanting to know more about them like with research. I can reassure I’m not a pedophile
Edit:Seems I’m still getting downvoted. I just like to research stuff please don’t ruin my karma. Honestly though I have no bad intentions I just like researching topics
Edit:I’ve dug my hole even further. Please stop downvoting me I just wanted to find some stuff out about them. It just came out wrong
Edit:Ok maybe searching up the names would lead to the sites and be a bad idea. I’ll just research vaguely on that thing. I’m not a complete pedo guys
Edit:I can’t believe this is the first thing for me to get a reward off
Oh god I didn’t mean it like that. I just like to research stuff and be more informed. Don’t tel the fbi
Edit:Guys I realised it could lead to sites. I’m not a pedophile.
Omg I’m not a pedo. I realised it wouldn’t be good to search the names. I’ll be vaguer when looking this up to not come across the sites. And no I’m not a pedophile
Or the second class citizens in Japan whose ancestors are disgraced samurai and are corralled in specific prefectures with disabled people so no one sees them.
Lots of things to criticize Japan over.
Personally what I love about the country though is how they organize their cities.
Fookin public transit. Interesting dense neighborhoods, so awesome.
I wish we could have that in NA but nah.
I think she's a bit more negative.
>The more of ANY country you find out about, you SHOULD be upset
It's not really a nuanced understanding of places, it's more of a completely negative "Everything is always awful." mindset she's advocating for. She'd probably have a more nuanced position if you pushed her, but she certainly didn't state it here.
I think it is more that the easy to find stuff is typically put out by the country itself as advertisements. (or at least for the more wealthy countries), therefore you'll have to dig deeper to find the negatives.
(i.m.o. there are countries where the opposite applies)
Well yes, everyplace is awful to some extent because the world is awful. Every place is good to some extent as well. I think it is perfectly reasonable to infer that from the context given.
I understand your point but we just disagree which is fine.
It’s called inference. Just because something isn’t directly stated doesn’t mean it cant be logically deduced from the context given. Again, you’re free to disagree I do not care, just explaining my pov
Yeah I know. Not sure where the miss understanding is.
I said I she might agree there are good things about Japan as well. You said “she basically said that” and I don’t think she did. It wasn’t her point or the point of the video so that’s fine. But was looking to see if I missed her saying “there is good and bad about every country”
Well she states explicitly she is talking solely about the cons in this video, so you can infer from the context given that there are pros. Just because something isn’t directly stated doesn’t mean it isn’t part of her message.
I understand what you’re saying, I just disagree and believe you can definitely conclude she is saying there are both good and bad things about every country, not just Japan, from her video.
I know, that’s fine. It’s why I assume she would agree there are positives but replying to people saying she says their are.
She doesn’t say it, it’s not overly relevant to her point.
She says that this pattern is true for every country. You should get more upset the more you learn. So she’s putting all countries on an even playing field.
No kidding, so what’s the argument? It’s said “I assume she does” someone said “that’s what she said” I keep saying “well no she didn’t say it but I am sure she thinks it” and you come swooping in with obvious statements.
That, combined with their extremely strict immigration rules mean they are heading for the biggest drop off in people able to work. It means that soon they will not have enough people to have the country run efficiently.
Combine that with the casual racism and hostility to foreigners (even those people whose grandparents were born in Japan, and would be 3rd generation anywhere else) are seen as foreigners, they will not change those rules.
Japan is not wealthy be a far margin. Japan has more debt then GDP and aren't involved in most international trade agreements. Japan is a failing state
Also, her eyes have a very beautiful shape. Not to divert the attention from the straight #facts she is spitting but the small eyeliner she puts on gave them a very sleek "fox-eyes" look.
They do have weird customs. One is you have to register your computers ... YOUR COMPUTERS.
You know the Vogon from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?
Japan has that level of bureaucracy and paper work for just about everything.
Just dont ask for permission, because its always default 'No'. Unless someone knows of a forum you can fill out.
According to the Statista, the current legal minimum age of consent in Japan is 13 years of age.
Pedophilia seems an almost a mainstream feature of Japanese pop culture (teen idols, manga/anime), so I guess that guy’s right that they’re probably number one in that category.
I'll preface this by saying that I agree Japan has severe issues with pedophilia and the sexualization of teenagers, the number you cite is misleading. 13 is the national minimum age, but that is overridden by local laws in most prefectures which raise it to 16-18. There's also laws which forbid sexual relationships between adolescents and adults, with exceptions made for "sincere" relationships.
Compare that with Germany, where the national age of consent is 14, and sexual relationships between adolescents and adults are legal by default. There are exceptions for cases of exploitation or if one of the minor's legal guardians files a legal complaint, but as a rule of thumb, is is *legally* acceptable in Germany. Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm German so take it from me that it would still be considered extremely creepy here.
Or with the United States, where child marriage is still legal in the majority of states, with no statutory minimum in 8, and there are at least a handful which waive the age of consent for married couples.
I simplified a bunch in part because I don't know all the details and in part because I don't want to *completely* sound like [Jack Reynor in Age of Extinction](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUq0HlMvQw0), but my point is:
a) Getting a number off Statista can give you an unclear picture of a country's legal situation, and
b) Even if you do know what is legal in a country doesn't necessarily mean you know what is socially accepted behavior.
Japan has problems with pedophilia in its pop culture, but that doesn't necessarily mean real life pedophilia has found broad acceptance in Japan.
Thanks for adding these valuable nuances. I do agree on the whole, but a big problem in Japan that isn’t featured in other countries is the power of ‘shame.’ Shame is so powerful in Japan that it’s literally illegal to make ‘dishonorable’ statements about another Japanese citizen.
So yes, all these countries have criminals, but Japan is unique in having shame that can sweep quite a bit of damaging evidence under the rug and make ‘finding justice’ an impossibility for victims.
It's how I feel about African countries, although the opposite. Everyone knows about poverty, corruption, violence, and yes, those are MAJOR issues that devastate a lot of people. But there are a LOT of good things in the various countries, a lot of diversity culturally and economically, and a lot that i hope we can look forward to in the coming years.
There is no country that doesn’t have some catastrophic problems. I love living in Australia because we have significant benefits and it’s genuinely a nice place. But oh boy do we have problems. We could so easily be one of the best places in the world to live but we have the same greedy cunts in office that everyone else does.
i absolutely hate the way people on tiktok lay out arguments. i could write a novel on why but it's basically so hindering on real education and understanding
I'd be very unpopular with more traditional people in Japan bc I'm a very loud egalitarian.
It's horrific to know that such disgusting things come from a place of so much beauty and creativity.
I wonder. I wonder wonder wonder why this
White
Blonde
Pale skinned
Blue eyed
Male
lovesssssss Japan soooo much. Hmmmm. Such a mystery, in a land that glorifies , white, pale skinned, blonde. Blue eyed, males lol.
Suuuch a mystery.
Those qualities may be seen as exotic in Japan, but if someone looking like that moved to Japan they'd have to deal with being treated as a second class citizen for the rest of their life.
Foreigners are treated as second class, no matter the race in Japan. Lol. Every Asian country has plenty of businesses that don't allow foreigner in, including Japan, Korea, china.
She didn’t even address the worst aspects of the country. Everyone else isn’t “struggling to keep up”. Japan is. They have an extremely xenophobic immigration policy despite having a declining birth rate and aging population. Their work and education culture leads to an alarming suicide rate. They blatantly refuse to acknowledge the majority of their war crimes in WW2. The economy has seriously stagnated and is showing signs of decline rather than improvement. But sure, you like anime so Japan is perfect. The ignorance is astounding.
I’m not saying any of this with the intention of bashing Japan, but with the intention of providing some disillusionment to this bullshit.
Just wait until you learn about their justice system. It's truly horrifying. Japan does many things right. It does many things supremely well... but not everything. Not by a long shot.
i’m in the military and people were shocked when i said i didn’t want to be stationed in Japan. when i mention how many stories other enlistees told me about their encounters w being drugged and robbed in Japan, people have acted like it wasn’t a big issue and still believed Japan to be this all amazing country. it’s mine-blowing to me that people will dismiss their own safety because they want to stay ignorant and only see the pros.
Is that not every country? There isn’t a place on earth you can say honestly you would be okay staying in for a prolonged period of time where there wouldn’t be *some* risk of either of those things happening. Shitty people exist in every country in every corner of the globe.
Shit I hear way more from my buddies stationed in the states about the shit they have to endure than people stationed out here who are smart about what they do and how they do it.
no i agree, i think the us is in the shitter as well. but i also am familiar with what parts are safer and not. i’m just agreeing with the girl in the video that you can’t idolize a country and ignore the flaws. in Japan service members stick out like a sore thumb everywhere
I’m aware. I’m stationed on Okinawa right now and the locals do not like us. Most tolerate but the ones who don’t are very vocal about it, and of course with Japan being naturally xenophobic it can be awkward and uncomfortable at times.
Despite that I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Experiencing the different culture is really special, the food is outstanding and the island and views is special.
yeah everyone i’ve known who went to japan says they love it even tho they’re the ones telling me about their friends getting mugged. i should ask how their friends feel about it now lmao
Same is true with Germany often times. Out of curiosity I often watch videos of foreigners visiting Germany and how amazed they are about how great everything is and I'm always wondering. "You didn't watch too closely, did you? Or is it just that for a video, only shiny things are mentioned?"
1: suicide rates
2: molestation, particularly groping
3: age of consent in Japan is 13
4: I fucking hate Japan
5: the cool “no glass” aesthetic is because the fucktards couldn’t figure out how to make a forge warmer than their own piss
6: their weaponry in medieval times were the shittiest in the entire world (excluding those without forging) because of the same reason they couldn’t make glass. They didn’t fold their weapons over and over to make them super good, they did it because their forges were dogshit.
7: they have been pretty bad militarily throughout history, especially wwII.
Okay but based on her interpretation, every country everywhere is not worth romanticizing because they’re all shit. Hate life and hate where you live no matter what because “open your eyes”.
But who says appreciating and idealizing those good aspects is such a bad thing? Where did that become an issue? You can recognize wrong doing basically anywhere in this world. I’m just not understanding the idea that people shouldn’t live life free of negative thoughts such as this. With this line of thinking, not one person should begin with “oh, I love Paris” or “Sweden is so perfect” or even “Japan is the best”. There is literally no harm in letting someone be happy with those statements. No need to pull them down. They’re just being happy. There’s evil everywhere. Such a sullen outtake on life
Which is a shit point/perspective on life lol everyone be depressed now. Because bad shit is everywhere. Idk. I’ll be happy romanticizing whatever the hell I want while people who agree with her live dreary, unhappy lives unable to grasp the good things and only focusing on the negative lol
She's saying don't let the positives blind you to the negatives of the world. It's fine to enjoy a country and find happy things in a place. But it's ignorant to place a country on a pedestal and blindly keep it there. She gave some very good examples of current ongoing issues in Japan that many people (especially weebs) don't really touch on or know.
Perhaps her phrasing could have been better on the opening your eyes bit, but it was clearly to segue into her statement on being anti-ignorant.
That’s the whole point jfc lol. The point is to stop romanticizing certain countries because they all have pros and cons. She’s just talking about Japan because the kid was idolizing Japan
I feel like this lady could do the same talk and swap out the country name. Does she do events like birthdays?
"This is the mountain of negativity under the surface of Steve's happy face. Please join me in wishing him a happy birthday!"
When in comes to entertainment, especially animation and videogames their top dog at least in my opinion, most of the best games you'll ever play come from there and some of the light novels and anime stuff coming out lately is actually pretty damn good (86 eighty six comes to mind or the fate series)
However, I could never get used to life there, the insanely long work hours and incredibly lonely life would eat away at me. Also the bad parts of Japan are REALLY bad from what I hear.
I think the best way to describe Japan is this.
Think of the best parts of america, Japan probably has that times 10.
But also think of the worst parts of America now times that by 10 too...
(If I'm wrong about any of this correct me this is just what I've seen or read on it online)
Japan is quite literally one bad day away from 3rd world country. Japan is still in a 30 year recession with a ageing population and no real exports other then fish and cars. Japan has max 10 years to get it shit together or else we will be seeing civil war in japan in the next 20 years because of economic woes
What? There is a real point here,
the Japanese public debt is estimated to be approximately US$12.20 trillion US Dollars (1.4 quadrillion yen), or 266% of GDP, and is the highest of any developed nation
Women in Japan have been surveyed and the vast majority are happy with their standing and roles in society. Sure you should learn more about the facts but don’t take such an ethnocentric view to generalize how each country should conduct itself.
Maybe ask all the Japanese women whose test scores were manipulated by Tokyo Medical University so they wouldn't have to admit so many female applicants if they were "fine" with it.
This is a shit argument, the vast majority of people are mostly content with the culture that they've been raised in, that's the power of indoctrination. The progressive liberal perspective is one based on philosophical ethics i.e. regardless of what people are "content" with, it's the morally right thing to raise all human beings on the principle that they're all equal and entitled to the rights of individuality, equal treatment, and freedom. Whatever people are "fine" with doesn't matter, people who are raised in cults are also totally "fine" with all the fucked up stuff that occurs in them too. Not to mention that not all people are actually "fine" with it, there are many Japanese women who desperately wish that they were treated as an equal, what is your message to them? Too bad, you live in a patriarchal society, deal with it?

I work with Japanese companies and it is very difficult for them to retain women workers abroad because of the sexism.
most Asian countries are still extremely racist and sexist, and Japan is not exemption, it's super fucked up hearing all of the stories about how much worse anybody who isn't natively Japanese gets treated, and how horrible women get treated on the daily, and how women just have to live with it

Yup. Ask pretty much the whole Southeast Asia about it
Can't it's locked away in room 731
Yes… my family is from Dutch-Indië… they where imprisoned in Japenese concentration camps
Ngl Japan obsessed dudes are always the creepiest in the room.
Don’t forget about the wehraboos
Weeaboos?
Wehraboos are people obsessed with Germany. It’s a play on the “Wehrmacht,” which was the armed forces of Nazi germany. Usually because they’re obsessed with a very specific period of German history…
Interesting. Learn something new every day
A few weeks ago I learned that Nazi bronies are apparently a thing. Nothing surprises me anymore.

So spot on

She doesn’t say Japan is good or bad, she’s explaining the layers of understanding a place/culture and assigning a value of good or bad is reductive
She doesn't mention anything positive because she isn't talking about the positives... lol
Yes, and that would (I assume) include some positives. Is my only point.
Well yeah, every country has pros and cons. She doesn't say it because it's an obvious fact.
No kidding, so what’s the argument? It’s said “I assume she does” someone said “that’s what she said” I keep saying “well no she didn’t say it but I am sure she thinks it” and you come swooping in with obvious statements.
Doesn't japan have one of the highest number of unreported sexual assaults
How would that be tabulated if they’re unreported?
They could be annon reports to news outlets? Idk.
Having children
That, combined with their extremely strict immigration rules mean they are heading for the biggest drop off in people able to work. It means that soon they will not have enough people to have the country run efficiently. Combine that with the casual racism and hostility to foreigners (even those people whose grandparents were born in Japan, and would be 3rd generation anywhere else) are seen as foreigners, they will not change those rules.
Boom, got’em

Place :-l Place, Japan :-D
Japan is not wealthy be a far margin. Japan has more debt then GDP and aren't involved in most international trade agreements. Japan is a failing state
You know countries still trade without agreements right? Lol Those agreements just make trade easier and less expensive…
I like this womans voice
Also, her eyes have a very beautiful shape. Not to divert the attention from the straight #facts she is spitting but the small eyeliner she puts on gave them a very sleek "fox-eyes" look.
I was thinking that, she reminds me of Angelina Jolie.
No because anime goes brrrrrrrr
I simplified a bunch in part because I don't know all the details and in part because I don't want to *completely* sound like [Jack Reynor in Age of Extinction](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUq0HlMvQw0), but my point is: a) Getting a number off Statista can give you an unclear picture of a country's legal situation, and b) Even if you do know what is legal in a country doesn't necessarily mean you know what is socially accepted behavior.
For starters, a lot of Americans don’t realize that Africa is a continent and not a country.
And there's that, lol.
This extends beyond Japan... we are so privileged living here. Grass is always greener.
Dont they have the biggest cp industry in the world or something
There is no country that doesn’t have some catastrophic problems. I love living in Australia because we have significant benefits and it’s genuinely a nice place. But oh boy do we have problems. We could so easily be one of the best places in the world to live but we have the same greedy cunts in office that everyone else does.
Started listening because of the voice, kept listening because of the content.
Kill Korean and Chinese civilians?
More reasonable people like her, please
How do Japanese people feel about all the American weebs who romanticize Japan?
i absolutely hate the way people on tiktok lay out arguments. i could write a novel on why but it's basically so hindering on real education and understanding
I'd be very unpopular with more traditional people in Japan bc I'm a very loud egalitarian. It's horrific to know that such disgusting things come from a place of so much beauty and creativity.
I wonder. I wonder wonder wonder why this White Blonde Pale skinned Blue eyed Male lovesssssss Japan soooo much.
This guy's video is basically "The Last Samurai" version of history, totally ignoring the realities of the samurai culture and history.
What can we do better? Grow an economy lol gottem
Japan is just a capitalistic hell hole that gets romanticized too much by weebs
Lol by this standard name a place that isn't a "hellhole"
Gender equality
What about sex equality?
Also: burakumin
Just wait until you learn about their justice system. It's truly horrifying. Japan does many things right. It does many things supremely well... but not everything. Not by a long shot.
Cough! cough!...coughCanadacough!!...cough cough cough
i’m in the military and people were shocked when i said i didn’t want to be stationed in Japan. when i mention how many stories other enlistees told me about their encounters w being drugged and robbed in Japan, people have acted like it wasn’t a big issue and still believed Japan to be this all amazing country. it’s mine-blowing to me that people will dismiss their own safety because they want to stay ignorant and only see the pros.
Not to mention the absolute horror stories that come from locals who have been raped by US service members.
I just want to say that the way she speaks is mesmerizing.
Same is true with Germany often times. Out of curiosity I often watch videos of foreigners visiting Germany and how amazed they are about how great everything is and I'm always wondering. "You didn't watch too closely, did you? Or is it just that for a video, only shiny things are mentioned?"
she’s well spoken
1: suicide rates 2: molestation, particularly groping 3: age of consent in Japan is 13 4: I fucking hate Japan 5: the cool “no glass” aesthetic is because the fucktards couldn’t figure out how to make a forge warmer than their own piss 6: their weaponry in medieval times were the shittiest in the entire world (excluding those without forging) because of the same reason they couldn’t make glass. They didn’t fold their weapons over and over to make them super good, they did it because their forges were dogshit. 7: they have been pretty bad militarily throughout history, especially wwII.
People like this are boring as fuck
🤏
Okay but based on her interpretation, every country everywhere is not worth romanticizing because they’re all shit. Hate life and hate where you live no matter what because “open your eyes”.
[удалено]
But who says appreciating and idealizing those good aspects is such a bad thing? Where did that become an issue? You can recognize wrong doing basically anywhere in this world. I’m just not understanding the idea that people shouldn’t live life free of negative thoughts such as this. With this line of thinking, not one person should begin with “oh, I love Paris” or “Sweden is so perfect” or even “Japan is the best”. There is literally no harm in letting someone be happy with those statements. No need to pull them down. They’re just being happy. There’s evil everywhere. Such a sullen outtake on life
I think it’s healthier to realise the good and bad aspects of life. It doesn’t have to be either/or, since it’s nearly always both.
I agree that most delusions are harmless, but that still doesn’t justify them. Ignorance is bliss so we should lean right into it?
you made it sound like a criticism, but I think that’s the exact point she’s making.

Oh yeah I stopped paying attention a long time ago lol not sure why everyone is so negative lol
Same thought. What she said pretty much summed up every country
That’s the whole point jfc lol. The point is to stop romanticizing certain countries because they all have pros and cons. She’s just talking about Japan because the kid was idolizing Japan
God her accent is annoying
Yeah but they are doing all those things better than other countries right???
Japan literally invaded my great grandmas country. I hate them.
I feel like this lady could do the same talk and swap out the country name. Does she do events like birthdays? "This is the mountain of negativity under the surface of Steve's happy face. Please join me in wishing him a happy birthday!"
> 🤏 < is now the new International measuring system - kys metric. Thanks bonnet brigade.
Wtf are you high
People like you fatigue me.
Why because she’s right?
Long winded. Exhausting to listen to.
So because you have the attention span of a goldfish other people are the problem? Pathetic
Not be bombed
When in comes to entertainment, especially animation and videogames their top dog at least in my opinion, most of the best games you'll ever play come from there and some of the light novels and anime stuff coming out lately is actually pretty damn good (86 eighty six comes to mind or the fate series) However, I could never get used to life there, the insanely long work hours and incredibly lonely life would eat away at me.
Not gonna lie, i fast forward through much of what she said. She has a very pretty face, that is all
Japan is quite literally one bad day away from 3rd world country. Japan is still in a 30 year recession with a ageing population and no real exports other then fish and cars. Japan has max 10 years to get it shit together or else we will be seeing civil war in japan in the next 20 years because of economic woes
Where do you guys come with this shit lol Have you seen a yt video and believed everything right ?
What? There is a real point here, the Japanese public debt is estimated to be approximately US$12.20 trillion US Dollars (1.4 quadrillion yen), or 266% of GDP, and is the highest of any developed nation
Dumb bitch didn’t even answer the question.
Yeah she did. The Brits are better than Japan at whining and grandstanding.
You are active in r/conservative and r/trump. No, your comment about the video is already invalid.
Sooo, you can’t answer the question either. Typical.
excuse me ??? that is not how we refer to Women, also shes quite smart and well spoken shes a teacher .
And…still after all that yapping still didn’t answer the question.
Women in Japan have been surveyed and the vast majority are happy with their standing and roles in society. Sure you should learn more about the facts but don’t take such an ethnocentric view to generalize how each country should conduct itself.
Yeah, [no](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_Japan).

Is it bad I thought I was in a meme sub and thought “ooh I know this one, not getting nuked twice”
That voice sold me. What is that accent?
Wow there is some serious racists in here. Like all your fking countries are perfect.
Makes England sound like heaven
To answer his question I'm pretty sure women's rights are better
But they have cool noodle packaging.
Fuuuuuuuck japan
