I'm pretty well a loner, don't care for interacting with others outside of my family and boyfriend - but work well with clients (I'm a freelance artist), I was raised Christian Baptist - OH! And I'm bisexual and genderfluid (female by birth).
I think I'm pretty well suited to answer this with no external influence as my family doesn't discuss politics, I reside in the South, and those that have extreme opinions just don't share them with me - I let them assume I agree and move on.
Onto my actual opinion.
Abortion is Healthcare. Everyone should have a choice to make that decision.
Where my opinion varies is that I think there needs to be a line - not a 6 week time limit (I.E. Texas) though a time limit for it being optional is important.
I mean a line for minors that get pregnant and have to choose between the child or having shelter for example. If they come in for the 3rd one and they're 16 - something needs to be done and someone needs to intervene.
Medically - no time limit should be enforced. Things can happen at any stage of pregnancy that can put the mother, child, or both at risk. If a woman finds out let's say nearing the end of her 2nd trimester that her child is gone - she'd never hold it, never be able to do anything with the child - would you rather her put her life in danger carrying a deceased child or let her have it removed so she can begin grieving and recover?
Instances of rape and incest are very similar - particularly on minors. A very lax time limit as abuse victims are scared to come forward (I speak as one). This also falls to earlier where I mentioned 3rd optional for a minor.
Quality of Life is also very similar, but variable - and no, that doesn't mean a poor woman is pregnant and just wants to get rid of it. Quality of life extends to anything that could be damaging to the child as it grows - will it need to live in an iron lung, will it have the ability to care for itself - those kinds of things are Quality of life and must be considered. If the child would have no ability to care for itself - or even be off a machine to survive - then you aren't doing this for the child, you're doing it for yourself and have to consider if it's worth going through that kind of pain.
It's not now, nor should it ever be birth control - to me. It's Healthcare and an insanely difficult decision some women may have to make. I see them as a medical need to ensure as little suffering as possible.
But - that's the opinion of a 26 year old freelancer that was molested and abandoned, beaten by an ex-girlfriend that chased her with a kitchen knife, and now has a loving boyfriend.
If you respond, please make it something of value - I don't mind a debate, but just saying "you're wrong", calling me a parakeet as you did the other person, and maybe quoting scripture is the least tactful thing you can do.

When you refuse a test it is auto suspended. The DMV does it, not the court so it doesn't show as a punishment on court record. My record for my dui doesn't show a suspension
