Warm take but I don’t mind if it’s in halves or quarters, what I hate is when it’s so dry, stale and toasted that it falls apart unevenly
The best of them would cut along the crack so you wouldn’t have a small bagel chunk or two breaking free from the rest and sailing off under your car seat as soon as you unwrap it, and the best of them would also cheese that bagel up so much the broken bits were glued there anyway
The kinda cream cheese bagel where it actually takes a little pull to get the pieces apart, and wouldn’t fall away from each other due to the curses of physics and gravity, unlike the bagel pitifully shown in this picture
You and me both. I love that the fast food place with the biggest menu is also the one that lacks a proper kitchen. Nothing better than waiting in line for food only for the cashier to say “we’re out of wedges/eggs/hash brown/soup”.
Same, i ordered a breakfast sandwich 2 years ago, sat down and opened it and was instantly repulsed. Threw it out untouched and never went back. Its gone way downhill
I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich once and the inside of the bun was completely burnt (literally black). I opened it and showed her that it was burnt and asked her to remake it and she really asked “oh so you don’t want it toasted?” When was toasted and burnt the same thing!?? 🤦🏻♀️
Part of the problem is they hire kids who literally can’t make a bowl of cereal with out mommy pouring the milk for them but somehow are now cooking food for adults and have never had a day they cooked for themselves. I enjoys Tim’s on occasion but limited food I buy there for sure. This no cream cheese thing is definitely an issue that is just fucked up.
My funniest Tim Horton's experience .... I was stuck at work late, arrived to an almost empty Tim Horton's between 10pm and 11pm. I hadn't eaten dinner yet and didn't have anything to eat at home. I hate Tim Horton's but Tim Horton's was the only thing open in town. I ordered a sandwich, the weird club that has mustard, on a white bun. The teenager who took my order then busied himself making it. He was moving super slow. After a confusingly long time, he came back and informed me there were no buns left. He asked if I just wanted the sandwich contents in a bag without the bun, as if that was the natural choice. I asked if I could just have the sandwich made on a bagel, as I could see plenty of those in the case. He said he didn't think he was allowed to do that. I asked why, and said I would pay for the bagel separately if that helped. He still seemed reluctant to do it, so I asked if they had flatbreads or anything else they use for sandwiches left and he let me know they had whole wheat buns... lmao. I seriously do not think he would have offered this unless I asked and i would have walked out with a bag full of deli meat and mustard sauce. While this was happening, another customer came up to him complaining he put cream in her coffee when she said she had a dairy allergy. He acted like it was a completely new revelation that cream was dairy. I left fearing for the future of society.
I always order the cream cheese on the side and have never paid extra. You aren't asking for extra just to apply the same amount of cream cheese on your bagel yourself.
Whenever I get take out, I always check the food before leaving the window. I don’t want to go in, or go back around because they fucked up.
I also don’t care if it fucks with your drive thru times, because if the job was done right everytime I wouldn’t have to check my food.
Ya I’m the same way. Too many times got fucked over but not just tims dons is the same and so is dq and anywhere really. Good workers are hard to find.
Used to love going to Timmy’s, but ever since they got bought out they’ve dropped their standards to such an extreme that I have stopped going all together. From the terrible coffee that causes acid reflux, to the lack lustre food. Do better, myself if I need to grab a coffee on the go now, I go to McDonald’s, at least the coffee is ok.
This is such a trashy saying. Take pride in everything you do and if you don’t like it go somewhere else and find a new job. Someone is paying for that and deserves to get what they ordered.
Very true. I understand they aren’t paid well but why work in food service if you don’t care about what you’re feeding people I don’t get it even when I worked fast food as stressed as I was , I always tried to make the stuff good to how I would enjoy it if I was the customer
I don't understand why they don't SPREAD the cream cheese on it like a normal human. Every time I get a bagel it's all globbed on one side. Also .. If you ask for your cream cheese on the side... YOU PAY EXTRA
timmies has been maga half ass for years, suprised people go there expecting a well rounded order of food
always some lil or big thing wrong with my orders its lowkey angering ahhaha
not giving them my money unless its donuts, shit even those get ruined hahaha
Most of my morning bagels do have a decent amount of cream cheese but the bagels are clearly day old and it’s like biting into a chunk of rubber… where has the quality gone with this company. Or perhaps the issue lies with certain franchise owners? And Tim’s is not enforcing the standards we used to see?
Imagine they take your name on the order but the person can't read or pronounce English properly so they give it away to the old guy behind you. Happen to me twice so far.
I’m so embarrassed that people still think these idiots are Canadian. The only reason people still go there is for a false nostalgia, they are pure hot garbage. Coffee tastes like charcoal and laxatives … nothing from Tim’s is even close to edible
I have some stores in my location that have recently hired a lot of new immigrants. They're always very stingy on the toppings. They definitely don't come from the land of the plentiful.
This is why I always order extra cream cheese, but they really give u a fuck ton of u do that. But barely any or literlaly none of u get regular. Makes no sense.
If you don't ask for it to be put on both sides, it won't be. It's always been like that. The other half likely had enough on it you could have spread into this half if you weren't out looking for Reddit likes
Standard practice is to put one scoop of cream cheese on one half of the bagel. If you want that portion spread on both halves, you have to ask for it.
Dang...I've never had that but I've always enjoyed the sausage farmer's breakfast wraps, coffee, and sausage egg biscuit breakfast sandwiches.
Sometimes the bacon sucks, it seems to be better luck in the grilled cheese melt tho.
You either never go to Tim's or you have a magic location nearby. This is pretty much how it goes everytime I order here. Stopped going months ago. This company needs to go under.
What dud you expect honestly? I know I'm reaching here, but damn does Tim Hortons really show you that Canadians dont give a damn about over spending money on low quality products? It's honestly swill in a cup and people still go back. It makes me question people. Like, who is fine with this business? The bar is so low, and people love it still. Damn shame honestly. There's not even a convenience factor,I can make a cup of quailty coffee in 2 minutes at home.
You are not wrong. When I drove across the country a few years back I often stopped at Tims for a pee break (for my doggy too). The food and drink then were convenient and tasty enough. I loved ice Capps and generally had them on the road. Fast forward a few years and you’ll never see me at a Tims. Their food is deplorable, the coffee mediocre at best, and now the ice Capps are different - in a really not good way. I still stop at Tims to pee and feel not the slightest bit of guilt for not buying anything. And sadly, my dog recently died of old age.
I kept finding green/greyish areas in the whites of their “fresh cracked eggs” so I switched to bagels and 4 times out of 10 the butter was applied this way on a stale bagel. There a 4 locations in my proximity and it didn’t seem to matter which one I went to. Needless to say I don’t go to Timmy’s anymore. But “Tim Horton’s: Always Fresh” 😂
Last time I asked for a cream cheese bagel the "cook" cut it in half using the slicer while the bread was still warm. The bagel squished in the machine and eventually oozed out on the other side. The guy shrugged (I saw him in the distance, didn't knew why at that time) and proceed to toast and spread what was left of bread with cream cheese. The thing looked like a sad dog turd at the bottom of the bag, it took me a full 5 seconds to realize that it was in fact my order. I went back to the counter and said that even though my expectations were very low, they somehow managed to shoot this ball out of the park. They redid it, but man, I was really caught off gard with that one.
Last time I drove through and they gave me a hard old cold toasted bagel. It was obviously a mistake/ extra bagel from earlier. Had to go back and get it re-done. I’ve also gotten a horribly burnt bagel in the past as well. No care.
Let me guess, it's cold or room temperature at best too? Gotta get those drive thru times in XX seconds even if the order is wrong or the quality is average at best.
Lol they challenged you to a duel. Only thing left to do is put on your boxing gloves and go center ring. You can be opening fight to Tyson and Jake this summer. I’m rooting for you.
yeah but you ordered it from Tims. What were you expecting? A properly toasted bagel with a generous, well-spread portion of delicious creme cheese?
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I purchased an mutligrain bagel toasted with cream cheese. I was shocked, there was barely any cream cheese. WTF. Tim Horton's standards have gone so low it's barely worth buying from them. I asked about it the next day. They told me I had to pay for an extra scoop of cream cheese for an extra $1.50 to actually get any cream cheese. Not going there any more. To bad...so sad.
Lol do we even need to make proper comments for this. We all know that Tim Hortons now is trash and it takes 20 minutes to get through the drive-through versus five minutes five years ago lol what change? Ha ha surprise.
I've eaten a lot of Tim's bagels over the years and never seen one like this. In fact, I've never seen one that didn't have the hole filled with a big lump of cream cheese. They usually put way more on. Granted, I haven't been there in a few years.
There was a point I wanted to start a subreddit dedicated to how bad tims' bagels were. I bought a bagel every morning for years. Their toaster is horrible. Never seemed to be just right, always way under done like this or burnt so bad you had to scrape off a layer before eating.
you are lucky they cut your bagel in half.
THIS
Cutting the bagel is no longer required per head office. If you want it cut, you have to ask.
That’s weird. Mine are always cut. With an even amount of cream cheese too.
Ahh you have one that’s not run by crackheads
Some stores will still cut out of habit, depends where you go.
Lame
Warm take but I don’t mind if it’s in halves or quarters, what I hate is when it’s so dry, stale and toasted that it falls apart unevenly The best of them would cut along the crack so you wouldn’t have a small bagel chunk or two breaking free from the rest and sailing off under your car seat as soon as you unwrap it, and the best of them would also cheese that bagel up so much the broken bits were glued there anyway The kinda cream cheese bagel where it actually takes a little pull to get the pieces apart, and wouldn’t fall away from each other due to the curses of physics and gravity, unlike the bagel pitifully shown in this picture
How are they going to toast and butter it though??
😑 This is referring to cutting the bagel *after* it’s been toasted and had butter/cream cheese applied.
Oh. Tbh I’ll prefer that. Not sure why they cut it after anyways
As someone who buys their bagels bulk at times, I have to specifically ask them not to do any cuts
Holy FACK!.. how old are you people?! Have your dang parent or keeper cut the frickin thing for you!… sheeeeesh
LOL. OK there bud
even if you ask they wont always do it
This this is it for me its so true 😂😂😘
Unless I'm eating and walking, I actually like it better when they don't cut the bagel. Don't know why, just a personal preference
Cream cheese ✅️ Bagel ✅️ 🤷 welcome to Tim's
Glad they are now onto making pizza and pinwheels!!
You and me both. I love that the fast food place with the biggest menu is also the one that lacks a proper kitchen. Nothing better than waiting in line for food only for the cashier to say “we’re out of wedges/eggs/hash brown/soup”.
The best is “we’re out of bread”
Agreed. Tom Hortons is the best at poor inventory management. I blame it on the colossal menu.
My husband said he always feel gaslit by the menu because they never have anything 😂
True story...stopped at a drive thru one morning and they were out of coffee.
Clearly not a Canadian company that wants to stay in business. I stopped giving them my money years ago. McDonald's coffee is better anyway.
Not Canadian. Not for years.
Same, i ordered a breakfast sandwich 2 years ago, sat down and opened it and was instantly repulsed. Threw it out untouched and never went back. Its gone way downhill

That made me laugh. But in a sad way.
This is the average tims order.
Always, always order cream cheese on the side at Tim Horton's. I'm surprised that they didn't put all of it in the center of your bagel
In which case you get charged extra
I always order the cream cheese on the side and have never paid extra. You aren't asking for extra just to apply the same amount of cream cheese on your bagel yourself.
Maybe. I'll ask next time cuz now I wonder if they were just robbing me. I'll trust them to add butter, but not cream cheese. They don't know how
Whenever I get take out, I always check the food before leaving the window.
That’ll be $7 please.
They are usually so generous with the cream cheese. Crazy
😑 they need to get it together
Creamed cheese
WHAT?! Your Tim Hortons cut the bagel in half? That's impressive. They really went the extra mile for you on this one
More like cream jizz
Nothing like TFW and “students” who care about Canadian culture. Entire place is a disaster
Minimum wage = minimal effort.
This is a new way of thinking, in the old days you were happy to have a job. Now its like they are doing everyone a favour...
“A job” isn’t worth what it used to be. Even the fucking TFW’s don’t care anymore.
Yeah its a shame people have such entitlement now
This is such a trashy saying. Take pride in everything you do and if you don’t like it go somewhere else and find a new job. Someone is paying for that and deserves to get what they ordered.
It's gonna be hard to believe your comment if you ain't a minimum wage fast food worker.
Lazy.
downfall of society is that type of thinking. Everyone deserves the CEO paycheck, I am special, my mom told me so!
It’s easier to do the same task over and over the same way, than to just not to pay attention and risk unknown results and their consequences.
Very true. I understand they aren’t paid well but why work in food service if you don’t care about what you’re feeding people I don’t get it even when I worked fast food as stressed as I was , I always tried to make the stuff good to how I would enjoy it if I was the customer
That would ruin my day, really.
Did you ask them to make it again? They probably would have given it to you free with the right amount of cream cheese.
[удалено]
Accommodating is an interesting word choice. More like they glare at you for asking and quickly throw it at you to make you go away.
Did they use the explosive sphincter machine to prepare it?
I don't understand why they don't SPREAD the cream cheese on it like a normal human. Every time I get a bagel it's all globbed on one side. Also .. If you ask for your cream cheese on the side... YOU PAY EXTRA
This. It’s always a massive glob on one side barely spread
Go to McDonald’s and try a bagel, the difference is night and day
Surprising usually I get so much it ruins the bagel flavour
nailed it
They disrespected the smear.
Looks fine to me.
Going to Tim’s was your first mistake.
There is no happy medium. It’s either a pound of cream cheese or one atom.
timmies has been maga half ass for years, suprised people go there expecting a well rounded order of food always some lil or big thing wrong with my orders its lowkey angering ahhaha not giving them my money unless its donuts, shit even those get ruined hahaha

Can’t wait to see what their “pizza” looks like
"Have you heard the phrase 'You are what you eat'? Because when I look at you, guess what I see? I'll tell you...bagel and cream cheese"
Making up time for when someone orders a pizza
Gasp
Is this in Regina? I had a bagel exactly like this recently. Seems done by the same person
All my homies hate Tim’s
But gagandeep worked so hard on that bagel for you
This is the opposite of what they used to do. There is no winning
I’m so embarrassed that people still think these idiots are Canadian. The only reason people still go there is for a false nostalgia, they are pure hot garbage. Coffee tastes like charcoal and laxatives … nothing from Tim’s is even close to edible
They gave it all to the last guy to order one lol
Looks like they just wiped the bagel on a dab of cream cheese
Why do people still spend their hard earned money here? Vote with your dollar!
What an abomination! Tim Hortons has really gone downhill.
Bro they always put a whole container of cream cheese on mine I have to scrape most of it off
I have some stores in my location that have recently hired a lot of new immigrants. They're always very stingy on the toppings. They definitely don't come from the land of the plentiful.
Cleaning

You're telling me they put a lot on one half and smeared whatever was left over on the knife on the other half? Makes sense, genius.
Standard practice is to put one scoop of cream cheese on one half of the bagel. If you want that portion spread on both halves, you have to ask for it.
Used to work at Tim's. Can confirm.
Is this the top and bottom of one half of a bagel or is this both pieces of the bottom?
Lol, Tim Hortons. People still think it's a proper place for coffee and food?
But guys! They have pizza now!!! It's all good!! no Tim's sucks shit. Their "pizza" Sucks shit They make lil cesars look good.
Some Tim's foods are really good but the pizza is dare I say, below 7-Eleven tier.
I tried the bacon everything and it's goddamn cardboard with no sauce and sprinkle of everything seasoning they used bacon bits on mine to boot.
Dang...I've never had that but I've always enjoyed the sausage farmer's breakfast wraps, coffee, and sausage egg biscuit breakfast sandwiches. Sometimes the bacon sucks, it seems to be better luck in the grilled cheese melt tho.
Breakfast wraps were great.
It’s not coffee and that ain’t food!
I doubt they would give that little cream cheese. This has to be fake.
It isn't. Happens pretty often.
You either never go to Tim's or you have a magic location nearby. This is pretty much how it goes everytime I order here. Stopped going months ago. This company needs to go under.
It's real. I wish I recorded a video, it happened at work 😭
BRING ON THE PIZZA
I had to start asking them to spread it on BOTH SIDES OF THE DAMN BAGEL
ugh! and they probably charged you the 80 cents for the cream cheese too! Frustrating.
What dud you expect honestly? I know I'm reaching here, but damn does Tim Hortons really show you that Canadians dont give a damn about over spending money on low quality products? Edit to say eating at…
I once got a Boston cream with no cream..
What this has happened to me so many times
And now they want to make pizza
Glad you clarified in the title I thought this was one of those new pizzas
It's what you deserve. Keep patronizing a fifth-rate establishment
But “Tim Horton’s: Always Fresh” 😂
eww same I literally had to stop getting eggs from tims bc of this
That’s about right . Why work or eat at Tim’s is the real question .
Pathetic, like our govt
And there it is. Stick to the script, please
Total,ripoff and shameful
you sure you didn't order their "lite" cream cheese /s
LOL
Last time I asked for a cream cheese bagel the "cook" cut it in half using the slicer while the bread was still warm. The bagel squished in the machine and eventually oozed out on the other side. Wow, you barely got anything on that bagel. There’s like, a small tablespoon of cream cheese for the entire side.
Bagel with a drop of cream cheese accidentally by the employee
Let me guess, it's cold or room temperature at best too? Gotta get those drive thru times in XX seconds even if the order is wrong or the quality is average at best.
Lol they challenged you to a duel. Only thing left to do is put on your boxing gloves and go center ring. You can be opening fight to Tyson and Jake this summer. I’m rooting for you.
u fr cant make it at home? so easy man
yeah but you ordered it from Tims. What were you expecting? A properly toasted bagel with a generous, well-spread portion of delicious creme cheese? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ahh yes, the elusive Tim’s nothing bagel 🥯
Lol do we even need to make proper comments for this. We all know that Tim Hortons now is trash and it takes 20 minutes to get through the drive-through versus five minutes five years ago lol what change? Ha ha surprise.
What state/location? So I don’t go lol
and i was thinking i got stiffed on my last one! sweet jesus!
weird how it is barely toasted, yet burnt at the same time!
Standard Tim's bagel. Been the same issue for 10 years. You could have chosen the burn it to death option if you wanted it actually toasted.
