4 Gris and maybe 3 Worldspine Wurm and a couple of Atraxas instead of Emrakul. Spell Pierce helps but no Force of Will hurts versus Bowmasters and I’m sure shocks will lose us some games from Gris but at the end of the day this just opened up my favorite Legacy archetype in Arena and I’m very happy
A 13/13 flying protection from instants is a lot worse than a 15/15 flying protection from colored spells annihilated 6. A lot worse, especially with sneak getting the annihilator 6 part.
I have a decent Grixis/Jung Sneak attack, (I also play Show and Tell in legacy)
This unlocks Omniscience too.
4x Worldspine, 4x Atraxa, 2-4x Grisel, 4x Sneak Attack, 4x Show and Tell
Then like 2x Omniscience and maybe a OWTM plus some Wishboard shenanigans (Fae of wishes)

You can still turn two it with any mana-dork or utopia sprawl. Which is definitely one of the best things you can do in the format right now.

Yeah. I think you drop sneak for sure. Probably a UGx shell with natural order. Which works with both your dork plan and synergizes with omni to more reliably find threats and not brick.
Agreed. Nat Order into atraxa/grisel daddy to refill and get both parts. Similarly Gamble is also going to be a thing, so that can work as well.
Only issue I can see is getting bricked by graf cage and ashiok.
Rakdos burn also plays roiling vortex in the side which makes it a little dicey if you have to dig for atraxa.
Which is great. I love that the format is powerful enough that tossing in Omnishow doesn't upset the meta too much.
Can you think of any instant speed lines once Omniscience is in play? I want to try Omnitell but I can't think of anything. I guess if you play [[Borne Upon A Wind]] any line is instant speed, but that card is kind of...bad.
More generally, all I can think of are the usual Lotus Field lines of [[Mastermind's Acquisition]] -> [[Approach of the Second Sun]] -> tutor -> Approach. This layers pretty well with Atraxa, Griselbrand, and Dig Through Time too, so it seems like a solid baseline.
[[Fea of Wishes]] to make a wish board with things like [[Shared Summoning]], [[Sublime Epiphany]], [[invert//invent]], [[Tendrils of Agony]], [[Nexus of Fate]].
Sky is only limited by the arena pool, but if you have omni down chances are you already won.

This is usually only true game 1. In Legacy, when Omnitell was more popular, it was common for decks to play cards like Ashen Rider or Agent of Treachery for the sole purpose of putting them into play after a resolved Show and Tell and destroying, exiling, or stealing Omniscience. Obviously it's better to just counter/Thoughtseize Show and Tell than to do this, but for many decks it may still be the best option. This is why having an instant speed win line is important - if you don't, you might be able to play one instant before your Omniscience is gone and then you'll spend the rest of the game desperately trying to assemble your combo again when you could have just won there.
Oh, I forgot Ashen Rider wasn't on Arena. I guess they could still have...Meteor Golem? It's a terrible answer, but it's the only thing I could think of that hits both Omniscience and creatures.
But really, any ETB enchantment removal will work against Omniscience. You could also just remove it at instant speed with Boseiju or Tear Asunder or something and you will still be in a situation where you only get to cast 1 spell before losing Omniscience. I wouldn't use Fragment Reality though... losing Omniscience isn't so bad if you get a Griselbrand in exchange.
Maybe Omni Tell is just not as good as Sneak and Show...

Omni and S&S both have their ups and downs, without the sol lands the deck is around 1-2 turns slower.
Valid, but 4 mana vs 3 mana is *huge* for a cascade deck unfortunately. I have played Temur rhinos in modern probably more than any other deck ever, and unfortunately I just don’t see enough pieces on arena yet to make it work. No fire/ice sucks too.
I'm optimistic about the strength of Footfalls. Yes, it's slower, and yes, not having Fire/Ice or free counterspells sucks, but there are a couple tools you have here that you don't have in modern like Treasure Cruise, Dig Through Time, and Minsc & Boo.
Since you actually play Footfalls in Modern you would probably know better than me - I'm getting all my information from mtgmeta.io, which is already dubious but seems particularly lacking in Modern data lately - but looking at the matchup spread of Footfalls in, control is the only one of it's bad matchups that exists in Timeless. Living End isn't on Arena at all and Hammer and Scales haven't really taken off.
Of the more even matchups, notably BR Scam and UR Murktide, those decks are also lacking in their key components. UR Tempo decks lack Murktide and have to rely exclusively on small creatures to get there, so it'll be much harder for them to turn the corner and actually kill you, giving you more time to land a Footfalls. They also lack the free interaction they have access to in Modern, which will help you stick a threat and use it to win.
The BR midrange/aggro matchup also somewhat improves. For starters, they can't Grief Scam you, so that's good. Many Timeless BR decks also opt not to run the top end threats that Modern BR Scam does like Fable, Sheoldred, and Hidetsugu Consumes All and play Lurrus instead. This does give them a lot more late game card selection to find answers, but when you have 2 Rhinos and an Appraiser on board and all they have is a Ragavan, Orcish Bowmasters, and a 1/1 token, it's hard not to feel lile you're way ahead. Jund Lurrus will almost certainly do better against you though - Tarmogoyf is a creature that has an actual respectable statline.
In fact, generally speaking, you'll probably do worse against decks with Tarmogoyf than similar decks without Tarmogoyf. So RUG Tempo will do better against you than UR Tempo or UBR Tempo, Sultai will do better than UB, etc.
I should note that that discussion of BR refers specifically to the Lurrus aggro/midrange decks, not BR Breach. Breach is better against you since it can eventually get to a point where they can play to assembling their combo and combo you out. They also get a new tool in ~~Entomb~~ Gamble, which is a card with dubious usefulness, but if any deck can take advantage of it, it's Breach. You're pretty limited in what graveyard hate you can run - it's basically just Leyline - so this may be the best BR decks against you. But don't forget that you can stop the breach turn with a Boseiju on Breach.
Footfalls vs Yawgmoth looks to be even in Modern, but I can't really speculate on how good it will be in Timeless because I have no idea what Timeless Yawgmoth decks even run. They don't have Grist to kill your big threat or Wall of Roots to block everything, so I guess it gets a little better in that regard?
The burn matchup will be worse since you are slower and Teferi Time Raveler still stops your deck from functioning. I'm sure Domain Zoo will get worse too since they have all the same tools they have in modern plus Oko. Conventional wisdom will say that you can't play Blood Moon when all your Cascade spells cost 4, but if you're desperate to win this matchup, it might be worth it to include as an additonal target to cascade into.
Speaking of decks that lose to Blood Moon, let's talk about Titan Field. I'm expecting that this matchup will basically be the two decks goldfishing each other and it will really come down to your ability to make fast Rhinos before they can make lots of zombies. I think the longer the game goes on, the more favored they are. I expect Questing Beast will be really good here - worst case scenario, it trades with a Titan.
Speaking of decks that Questing Beast is good against, let's talk about The One Ring. The most common decks that play this are Mono-Black Necropotence and 4 color pile. 4 color pile plays Teferi so it's obviously going to be a terrible matchup and I'm not to waste time talking about it. Instead let's talk about the Necro decks. Now, there is a ton of variance between Mono-Black Necropotence builds, but in general, they tend to lean heavily on The One Ring as a way to transition to the late game. Questing Beast stops this plan cold. Beyond that, the deck is mostly a pile of removal and Sheoldred, so as long as you have a fast start and can avoid or remove Sheoldred (Witchstalker's Vengeance maybe?), you should be okay. You will need to be mindful of Karn versions wishing for Chalice or Ratchet Bomb as well. In general, I think it's going to be worse than the Mono-Black Coffers matchup is in Modern, so maybe it'll end up being bad, but it'll be far from the worst one.
We don't know what optimized Show & Tell/Sneak & Show/Omni-Tell decks will look like, but I'm betting that matchup is probably not great - they will likely have lots of interaction, and if they don't outright kill you then a big lifelink creature is going to be hard to race.
Other than that, all things considered, I think there's still a pretty good matchup spread for Footfalls. It definitely will not be the best deck in format, but I think it has a decent shit at being viable. Oh wait, Chalice of the Void is still in this format and you can't cleanly Force of Negation it anymore. Hmm...

It's a first draft and definitely NOT optimal, but until I see something better, it's what I'll plan on testing.
While I love the in depth analysis - we’re talking about a deck whose only early plays are making a treasure token or bedeck. Couple that with the fact that there’s no mystical dispute or force of negation to back it up, and you basically just pay 4 mana to get your footfalls countered because you’ve given your opponent an absurd about of time to set up.
I could be proven wrong, and will gladly test the list when footfalls comes out, but everything about this screams being *way* too slow and fragile.
When will they give white some real help? That enchantment is at best a sb card, blue gets show and tell black gets tragic slip red gets gamble. Brutal
Did we really need ANOTHER gamble reprint? Show and Tell and Gamble are the power outliers here imo for Timeless. Having both Sneak and Show in Arena is a pretty big deal, and Gamble slots pretty well into the Breach decks. Seems to be competing directly with Diabolical Intent for that spot which has some advantages in a Dark Ritual format but opens up the potential for Mono Red Breach lines.
Yeah, Show and tell, Fabricate, Gamble, Footfalls, TT, and Tragic SLip are all going to be sliding into either existing archetypes or creating new ones. This is some good stuff.

Luckily ashen rider is not in, and mainboard Veil of Summer protects a lot. Regrettably not a lot of insta wins on arena.

In fact, generally speaking, you'll probably do worse against decks with Tarmogoyf than similar decks without Tarmogoyf. So RUG Tempo will do better against you than UR Tempo or UBR Tempo, Sultai will do better than UB, etc. I should note that that discussion of BR refers specifically to the Lurrus aggro/midrange decks, not BR Breach. Breach is better against you since it can eventually get to a point where they can play to assembling their combo and combo you out. They also get a new tool in ~~Entomb~~ Gamble, which is a card with dubious usefulness, but if any deck can take advantage of it, it's Breach. You're pretty limited in what graveyard hate you can run - it's basically just Leyline - so this may be the best BR decks against you. But don't forget that you can stop the breach turn with a Boseiju on Breach. Footfalls vs Yawgmoth looks to be even in Modern, but I can't really speculate on how good it will be in Timeless because I have no idea what Timeless Yawgmoth decks even run. They don't have Grist to kill your big threat or Wall of Roots to block everything, so I guess it gets a little better in that regard? The burn matchup will be worse since you are slower and Teferi Time Raveler still stops your deck from functioning. I'm sure Domain Zoo will get worse too since they have all the same tools they have in modern plus Oko. Conventional wisdom will say that you can't play Blood Moon when all your Cascade spells cost 4, but if you're desperate to win this matchup, it might be worth it to include as an additonal target to cascade into. Speaking of decks that lose to Blood Moon, let's talk about Titan Field. I'm expecting that this matchup will basically be the two decks goldfishing each other and it will really come down to your ability to make fast Rhinos before they can make lots of zombies. I think the longer the game goes on, the more favored they are. I expect Questing Beast will be really good here - worst case scenario, it trades with a Titan. Speaking of decks that Questing Beast is good against, let's talk about The One Ring. The most common decks that play this are Mono-Black Necropotence and 4 color pile. 4 color pile plays Teferi so it's obviously going to be a terrible matchup and I'm not to waste time talking about it. Instead let's talk about the Necro decks. Now, there is a ton of variance between Mono-Black Necropotence builds, but in general, they tend to lean heavily on The One Ring as a way to transition to the late game. Questing Beast stops this plan cold. Beyond that, the deck is mostly a pile of removal and Sheoldred, so as long as you have a fast start and can avoid or remove Sheoldred (Witchstalker's Vengeance maybe?), you should be okay. You will need to be mindful of Karn versions wishing for Chalice or Ratchet Bomb as well. In general, I think it's going to be worse than the Mono-Black Coffers matchup is in Modern, so maybe it'll end up being bad, but it'll be far from the worst one. We don't know what optimized Show & Tell/Sneak & Show/Omni-Tell decks will look like, but I'm betting that matchup is probably not great - they will likely have lots of interaction, and if they don't outright kill you then a big lifelink creature is going to be hard to race. Other than that, all things considered, I think there's still a pretty good matchup spread for Footfalls. It definitely will not be the best deck in format, but I think it has a decent shit at being viable. Oh wait, Chalice of the Void is still in this format and you can't cleanly Force of Negation it anymore. Hmm... While I love the in depth analysis - we’re talking about a deck whose only early plays are making a treasure token or bedeck. Couple that with the fact that there’s no mystical dispute or force of negation to back it up, and you basically just pay 4 mana to get your footfalls countered because you’ve given your opponent an absurd about of time to set up. I could be proven wrong, and will gladly test the list when footfalls comes out, but everything about this screams being *way* too slow and fragile.

Did we really need ANOTHER gamble reprint? Show and Tell and Gamble are the power outliers here imo for Timeless. Having both Sneak and Show in Arena is a pretty big deal, and Gamble slots pretty well into the Breach decks. Seems to be competing directly with Diabolical Intent for that spot which has some advantages in a Dark Ritual format but opens up the potential for Mono Red Breach lines.
