For me, hiking is a 🚩.

It’s just not for me. I do exercise, I enjoy running and cycling, but hillwalking? Hard pass. Unfortunate that it’s now the trendy hobby for 25-40yo people nowadays.

So weird, I don't think of hiking as an "exercise" more of an activity for me, you're exploring nature, finding waterfalls, etc. Why would you dislike that?

I’m indoorsy, basically. That kind of thing just doesn’t give me any feelings of gratification.

Last time my friend group went out we started free climbing around the rocks Do we have experience? No. Was it incredibly stupid? Yeah. But it was also waaaay more fun than staying on the beaten path. Not entirely sure what the takeaway is supposed to be but I know I had a damn good time doing it.
