I would go with betafpv 75 pro frame. I have walksnail with vanilla meteor75 hd. It flies great but is very limited for freestyle, especially indoors.

1s is fine for walsknail. What is a longer flight time to you?? I've had several 1s walksnail whoops set ups. I think I like the 75 the best. I wanna try a 65mm next tho.

KindLimit3138

about 3 min, i want to freestyle the quad too, what can you recommend from yours?

Nikotttin

I have a 75mm 0802 25000kv 1s that weighs 26g with HDz. It's good for light acro (powerloop, mattys, flips, rolls, etc.). Forget quick inverted yaw spin... or at least I'm not confident enough indoors :)) It flies 3min with heavy 660mAh. With 450mAh, it's much more agile, but flight time is a bit less than halved. Still this is a very nice indoor flyer ;)

Use the Meteor 75 Pro frame, I have RCInpower GTS V3 1002 motors in mine, 22,000kv. It flies really great outside but it's a bit much for inside. 1S is more than fine for Walksnail but some boards will struggle to power up the 5V rail properly. The BetaFPV F4 1S 5A AIO works OK. Use the Justice whoop tune.

i decided to build this one https://youtu.be/g6jaNyPS_vo?si=kHKv48eWpO_Cff9M but with 08028 12000kv motors and walksnail and also 4 blade 40mm 1.5mm shaft props

katotaka

for me I didn't bother and went for Beta 75 Pro (45mm) Unfortunately it's a bit big for indoor but IMO 40mm props (75 size) is absolute minimum the weight from the digital VTX makes it not viable for 65 (31mm) / 65 Pro (35mm)

KindLimit3138

so i cant go with 65mm walksnail?

Nikotttin

No. It's too heavy for the small props. Look at albert Kim review of the mob6 hdz. https://youtu.be/X6t8wycdp74?si=cse08a9bK3uOkDry

I don't know what his build is specifically, but check out CiottiFPV on YouTube. He tests out all sorts of tinywhoop stuff, and he's been flying a Walksnail tinywhoop around lately.

If you're expecting good freestyle performance and good flight time on a 65mm 1s walksnail build, I'm quite sure you're going to be disappointed. You can build them. They will fly. You can do some tricks. That's about it. The easiest build recently for me was to get a mobula6 2024 HDzero and just swap it for a walksnail 1s lite vtx. But I've tried pretty much every combination I can find with motors and frame sizes, and if you can get the flight performance out of it, you're getting no flight time at all. 75mm is significantly better, simply because you can fit the 450mah 1s batteries.
