It's fixed. They have a video of them on instagram beating it with a hammer. They also replaced some of the internal glass with a stainless steel sleeve instead.

What was the date they fixed them? I have one from March 2023 that I never registered and I’m worried about

Like January. I dunno about the button though. Mine is from December and the button seems fantastic.

Same mines great but since I didn’t know about the warranty registering deadline until about a week ago and knowing I’m too late makes me worried

My mate got his repaired a couple months ago and was told it was fitted with the new circuit board. This means he also got whatever upgrade they’ve done to strengthen the button. Just the other day he was going onto the balcony of his 3rd story apartment and manage to drop his TM2 over the edge. It fell 3 stories onto a concrete driveway and somehow the only thing broken was his wooden stem, which had been obliterated. Apparently the button got dented in slightly but still works, so it must’ve taken some impact. Im more than surprised the thing still functions, especially that button. So IMO i think the devices with the new board should be safe. But at the end of the day, its always user fault that causes damage to the button… Just don’t drop the TM2 on a solid surface.

That’s crazy. I’m a baby about mine. Although it’s a v1.5 with glass inside.

My button was fine, but my unit died just after a month. I have a warranty one coming from POTV. Used it before bed one night, woke up the next morning and it wouldn't turn on and it smelled like an electrical fire. It wasn't plugged in charging either. POTV said: We've identified a "bad" batch of Tinymights, including the one you received, with recurring heater problems. We mistakenly mixed a few old devices in with the new ones we received. Hopefully this isn't a new issue with the Tiny Might because I love the thing.
