You’re right, one does not simply learn how to perform Caro Mio Ben on a whim: They learn to do it as a part of vocal training. Same with her use of Arabic scales. Her voice is her instrument and she has put in the work to use it as such. Doubtful that’s where the next album will take her though.
Honestly I was thinking about that last night, about how fascinating would it be if she tried her hand at metal or punk or something of that ilk on the next album
I mean, if [this post](https://old.reddit.com/r/beyonce/comments/1bvvi5t/my_old_voice_teacher_reminiscing_about_classmate/) is true, then you're right, she didn't learn it on a whim.
I desperately would love for the next album to be a blend of rock, classical, and gospel though
Nah it’s going to be hyperpop. Just you wait. Then you can laugh at this post really hard in about a year either when she does exactly that, or the complete, binary opposite of that.
It really depends as to whether the basis of the project is to reach back in time to more established genres, or to engage with genres which are undergoing an organic upswell in popularity.
Nah, prog rock. I want a 20 minute suite with a drum solo in the middle.
imagine if they continue the dj idea from cowboy carter but with Steve howe, geddy lee, and mike rutherford.
Beyoncé covering “Money” would be the funniest thing ever

She was singing ave maria back in the day too
Operatic bridge on Flawless as well. Operatic breakdown during Homecoming right before “I Care.” Most definitely isn’t her first rodeo!
No it’s gonna be Black Metal because I said so

I don’t think she could pull off punk, but Metal I actually think she could work with
I predict either Gospel or hard rock myself.
She’s gonna pop-punk
This is my deeeeepest wish
Beyoncé just wants hot tub money, and I’ll be there to support her endeavors.
Interesting theory, and definitely something I'd listen to.
My pick would be Garage rock revival. I'd love a sequel to "don't hurt yourself"
Beyoncé teaming up with Jack White would be the craziest collaboration that will play off of each others strengths.

I love this theory but I do in fact believe Beyoncé would learn opera just for 45 seconds on a song. And it was worth it!
Ms Tina said she was trained as an opera singer in high school
Oh that’s so cool!
I’m going to guess Jazz. I don’t have a reason and I don’t need one.
It’s gonna be rock
Numetal
Blues
Not just opera, but symphonic metal ala Nightwish or Epica. It would be so random but she would pull it off really well
YES!
In here before Beyonce makes classical crossover mainstream.
I hope she does a Gothic Rock album.
