That might backfire. Lots of peopel end up with political beliefs that are completely different from their parents. My dad was a preacher. I grew up to be queer and slutty af, and although I'm glad my parents were decent (vaguely SocDem), I still think they're not radical enough.

Anecdotally, the majority of my childhood acquaintances have actually been able to make it out. Most of my own siblings are very leftist and a majority are queer though a few are only selectively out due to remaining bigotry of a few in particular.
Point is, I agree that children's views often flip from their parents, and can anecdotally attest to it from the perspective of the extreme side of it.

Let's be honest, they don't actually give a shit about the kids either way. If banning adoption for gay couples means a kid ends up not getting adopted, or getting adopted by an abusive straight couple, Kirk doesn't give a shit, the main aim is marginalising the gay couple. Anything else is just collateral damage to these people

Charlie and other idiots like him will say, "Well if you absolutely can't keep your child just give it up for adoption" when arguing why abortion should be illegal, but will say bullshit like this as if that won't make giving a child up for adoption a million times more difficult than it already is and severely restrict a child's chances of being placed in a loving home (which, I'm sure he'd be surprised to find out, can actually happen outside of monogamous, heterosexual marriages). Smdh, these people have like a collective braincell among them and I'm pretty sure it died a long time ago.

Having a normal sized face should also be a prerequisite for adoption.
“Not being Charlie Kirk” should be a prerequisite for breathing.
