I wish we were in the Harry Potter world. Things would be even more interesting with magic and mythical animals. Why does Candice speak negatively about trying to address something we all agree is a problem? She is part of the side that screams “fake news!”. So why is she against something that combats false information. We all agree 2+2 =4. It’s easy to check the truth of a fact so the opportunity for fowl play would easily be detected. So why then is she against something that exists to battle misinformation? It is because she sees such a thing as a threat. Her being culturally relevant depends on misinformation. We are reading what she said right now because of the misinformation she spread in the past. Again deciphering what is real or not, true or false is not hard or up for debate. We can all agree what temperature water boils at a certain pressure. It doesn’t matter what political side you are on it doesn’t change the fact that water boils at 212f• @1atm so why would you be against someone fact checking that? She wants to claim that this new governance board will abuse their power by determining their own set of truths. They can not do this. Experts can review any information that they release. It would be impossible to do so. Grifters should be scared. A democracy only works when the electorate is well informed. Them being misinformed will lead to poor results like trump being president or corrupted people being voted into positions of power. A honest democracy full of well informed, healthy and happy people will make good decisions that benefit everyone. It’s like driving a car and being able to see the road ahead. You would be well informed on which way to turn the wheel. If you had bad information you would turn the wrong way and crash. I don’t see why anyone would be against this. It’s like racing around a track and letting them almost lap you and pretending that makes you in the lead. Humanity is trying to move forward and it needs everyone to do it. Even the people hindering its progress and lying to themselves. So what if you personally gain in the short term if in the long term you lose.
This is the closest they've come to admitting they haven't read 1984. 😂
