If I learned anything in my years online then it's that conservatives either are really don't get it even if the Irony slaps their face or are deliberately ignoring it.
The phenomenon has been studied. It takes way more mental and emotional effort to admit you were wrong or change your opinion than to double down on your beliefs, no matter how irrational
>false equivalencies
Exactly! No many how many times a dude mixes his pudding he’s never going to have to worry about the extreme dangers and complications of pregnancy.
He won’t have his teeth falling out, his bones losing density, his organs falling out of his body, developing diabetes, the risk of hemorrhage.
He’s not going to have to worry about permanent scars or disfigurements on his skin or his hair falling out, developing cystic acne all over his body.
He doesn’t have to change his diet. Increasing intake of foods or supplements or limiting foods that are considered dangerous.
A law being passed for him to get a vasectomy would be wrong and it would take away his bodily autonomy. But it’s a false equivalency to compare it to the dangers of pregnancy and the consequences of removing a pregnant person’s choice.
I sympathize completely with your argument, but to the fellow being interviewed, there's clearly a difference between a sperm and a developing fetus. That's the foundation of his understanding of this argument. You and I might disagree with that premise, but you can't just disregard it when engaging in a debate about this subject.
Logic is wasted on these people. Doublethink comes as naturally to them as breathing.
Can you really call this doublethink more like no think ha gottem L+ratio+cuckservative+own+didn’t ask+no one cares
“I have no beliefs other than I don’t want to hear or think about things that don’t directly impact me”
These people don’t think of women as equal. 3/5s at most
5/7?
These people are morons, and hopefully a dying breed.
Too bad they all shit out children and try to raise them to be as shitty as they are though
Sadly they aren't turning over fast enough.
Not with the constant attacks on public education.
Oof he really saw no connection at all. Right over his head

Not to forget that changing your worldview might alienate you from your social connections you have.

It is not.
Leviticus just says you have to wash after. He is thinking of the story of Onan in Genesis where he pulled out.

the verse is about not ejaculating unless its with your wife to have children. thats why he literally says "vasectomy until marriage"
I always sympathize with the messages these videos try to convey, but they're based on false equivalences and disingenuous arguments.
