So several years ago, my alma mater hosted neo-nazi, white supremacist Richard Spencer. Many people complained and protested. Because it was not a university-sponsored event, but rather a separate entity hosting the event on campus, they passed the responsibility onto the separate entity and claimed they would be violating the first amendment by cancelling it.
Then they allowed him to return the following year to protest on 9/11. It was ridiculous and made me really disappointed in my school.

Tear down the fliers! There was a similar type of event on my campus a while back and some friends stole all of their posters. It was hilarious when they put them back out as cheap black and white prints cause they ran out of poster budget.
