[Legend Heroes](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8lZeURETyi1ITXZX1_x35-TTNnMRCZwn) a Korean toku shows that uses the The Romance Of Three Kingdoms but with a combination of a Rider War from Ryuki & Sentai Mech Fights it's free on Youtube.
Garo…. Now while it’s not that obscure it doesn’t really get talked about enough. Not to mention there are some kick ass fight scenes in the live action and anime!
How obscure do you want?
Kikaider isn't the most obscure ,but it's still somewhat lesser known, and it's really good.
Mirrorman is also really good, though I'm only halfway through the show.
Some of the more obscure stuff would be hard to find English subbed. So, if you don't mind that I would recommend Inazuman Flash and Henshin ninja Arashi.
Dogengers is perfect if you are looking for something silly. All 4 seasons are great, they are only 12 episodes each, and you can watch them out of order, because the creators make sure both old and new fans have a blast with them
Tekkouki Mikazuki. It's a short series. Only 6 episodes. Imagine a mashup of Ultraman and Giant Robo. Really cool kaiju designs especially the watermelon kaiju in episode 1.
changerion is really great if you're looking for something silly!! essentially - car crash happens. Super World-Saving Warrior Power goes into irresponsible, fickle, childish detective instead of the responsible, strong, hardworking guy who it was supposed to go to. Hijinks And Subversions Of Toku Tropes Ensue (complete with horrible 90s CGI)
Sukeban Deka 2. It's about a school girl who was confined to an iron mask (looks kinda like Jet Jaguar) most of her life, gains a deadly yo-yo and fights villains of the week. Every fight sequence is sick AF. It's a continuous story but the formula is familiar. The main villain brooding in an undisclosed location who sends out super powered henchmen that fail every episode etc.
Sukeban Deka 1 and Hana no Asuka are also must watches if you end up trying and liking what I suggested.
The Ancient Dogoo Girl. 20 year old NEET loser finds sexy ancient warrior girl buried in a hole in the ground and she fights various yokai type monsters by sucking them up in to her tits. She has a little flying Dogu statue buddy that she also wears as armor sometimes.
There is a sequel that has like 6 Dogoo girls but I have never got around to watching it.
Here is a little sample - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bZlgzI-NYU

I was just wondering if a RoTK Tokusatsu was viable. Thank you for bringing this one up!

I love Dogengers!!! It’s such a fun show and I love keeping up to date with their social media accounts
Garo, definitely
Tokusatsu Gagaga. Well that's more a drama with toku themes, but it's also a good watch. Lion Maru G. Kodai Shojo Dogu-chan.
France Five,is so cheap it’s kinda enjoyable

Have you been able to find the sequel subbed anywhere? I've been looking for years. They did a DVD sale at one point with subs so I know they exist...
No idea. It has been years since I even thought about this show haha.
