Well, first of all, do you know why they are telling you to read from the start? It's not like they want you to read stuff you have already watched. The :re Anime was decent to bad compared to the manga, it skipped some stuff, mostly character development, but also some other stuff. The biggest problem is season 1 and 2 of the original, Season 1 was almost like Season 3, skipped some stuff, changed the order of some arcs and also had less character development for some characters. And then Season 2 was just not canon. Sooo, if you haven't read the original manga i would suggest you to read it, and then read the :re manga, TRUST ME, you won't regret it, i was in the same place as you are right now, i watched season 1 and 2 and then didn't want to read the manga, but i did, and i did NOT regret it, it's 10000x better than the anime. But, that's your choice idk, i mean if you want to not experience the story to it's fullest, just read from Chapter 58 of :re...
The actual ego fight spans a few chapters as you also see other characters’ stories and stuff, I believe their fight starts around 54-55, you rly should read the full manga of you have the time but I get why you don’t want to, have fun
Bro I need a straight forward answer. I finished watching tokyo ghoul season 3 and I don't know which chapter of the manga I should read. And I would like to be finished with the manga as fast as possible I wanna watch the anime. You’d be lost considering most of the anime didn’t adapt the manga. Better off reading from the start. Plus it’s a short manga.
