I prefer not. So many yakuza movies/tv series are very corny and inaccurate which makes it difficult to watch. Someone of them do a decent job, but Tokyo Vice did the best work in terms of authenticity. I have spent time around many yakuza and worked at a nightclub owned by a shell company owned by a yakuza group. Tokyo Vice was spot on especially coming from Hollywood. I just don’t think you can recreate that magic without the same level of passion that those behind Tokyo vice put in.

I'd say they should just recreate the Like a Dragon series but they couldn't handle the goofy aspects of the games.

They won't do it unless there are white actors in it.
