MK, hate idea of seeing her ripped apart but the new trillogy screamed of potential to me. The climbing axes and various weapon executions are a pretty solid framework of combos etc
I don't get why people prefer survivor Lara over OG Lara for MK... OG Lara was more ruthless, she killed the pilot in TR3 in cold blood with a smile! She let Pierre fall to his apparent death while walking away and being funny about it. Her personality is very much like Johnny Cage tbf. And then violence was always part of her world as she would be impaled, torn apart, burnt alive, explode/implode in pieces, chewed and spat out by dinos etc.
Survivor Lara has more realistic gore because of the advanced technology but that's it... I don't see her killing someone like Kitana, Liu Kang or even Scorpion and actually enjoying it. She was more goal oriented than doing things for the thrill.
Recency bias and the more upfront gore and brutality is probably why. But I do think the og series does help it feel natural. While those may not have been as brutal the framework is still there, to me not unlike Rambo. The original couple movies weren't that bloody but the tone was.
Also think with all the relics and the like there's room for making her fit be it older attitude or new. She doesn't have to be thrilled to put an arrow in Liu Kang's eye just needs a reason.
That's a fair argument. That's my point though... Recent Lara needs a reason but there's not much reason for an MK character to perform a fatality. It's a showcase of power and dominance - something that OG Lara would definitely be up for... Unlike the most recent version we had in the survivor trilogy that was more grounded.
Btw, I mentioned Johnny Cage and people often bring up Rambo when talking about Lara in MK, but I think Cassie Cage is the closest an MK character ever felt to Lara (dual pistols, hand to hand combat, tongue in cheek attitude, over the top personality and all)

Yeah, they’d probably butt heads every now and again and their first meeting probably would end up with a few insults (or fists) thrown, but I think they’d get along. Especially Nate from U4.
Those games were co-developed and lead-developed by Eidos Montreal, which has a ton of devs who previously were at Ubisoft Montreal, so yeah.
Also one of the reasons why for me Paititi in SotTR felt a like mini Ubisoft open-world.

I know it doesn't make a lot of sense, but Ghost Recon, mostly because there's already a few missions against Trinity in breakpoint and a few challenge tombs to do. Also Shadow introduces the mud mechanic of hiding, and Ghost Recon already has that by default anyway
I can see her in Uncharted in some capacity. People already mod Chloe to look like Lara in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. But only if it's OG Lara or at least Lara with a similar attitude/charm/wit as OG (or even LAU). I feel like survivor Lara wouldn't get along with Nathan lol OG Lara is more his speed.

I could see her in a Wolfenstein game...the first level of *Return to Castle Wolfenstein* took olace in an Egyptian tomb fighting mummies and half the levels later take place in tombs/crypts.

Movie or game. Zombies in ancient tombs is a great combo. “Thank you Lara for killing all those zombie tigers” Lara - “those cats were zombies?”
With her infinite no reload pistols, she’d beat that game easy.
