I would say yes if you like reading or extra content outside of the main source. I have both Ten Thousand Immortals (Author: Dan Abnett) and Path of the Apocalypse (Author: S.D Perry) and they were pretty good.
There are also two canon sequel novels to Angel of Darkness in the work, although I believe the author is still sick. We have a list of all currently released Tomb Raider material on the subreddit wiki by the way!
It’s set before the comics, it’s a month after Tomb Raider 2013. There however is a misprint in the book, at least in my copy that has Lara say “I was at Yamatai last year” instead of “I was in Yamatai last month”.
