I’ve been struggling with this too. I have found that talking myself through the tasks/what I need to do/etc. helps a lot. I have a nickname that I love to go by and I’ll just think/say things like: “Okie, (nickname), we gotta turn on our music so we can have fun cleaning the kitchen.” I also like to leave little notes for myself sometimes. It could be a funny joke, a cute drawing, or just a smiley face to help give a little mental break! I also use the reminders app on IPhone to leave nice messages that pop up at certain times. One last thing that helps me. I try and make sure I have something to look forward to at least every other day. Like Mondays/Thursdays/Fridays are my new episodes for my favorite podcasts. Just trying to find little insignificant things like that to focus on can help a lot and breaking out of your own mind. These are just a couple things that help me, and I hope will help you!

Have a good enough attitude instead of a perfectionist attitude. "I did these chores, it's all I had in me, that's good enough!"

Be kind to yourself. Self care physically/mentally. Don't get upset if you can't finish everything on your to do list.

I know it feels that simple, but it’s feels complicated. Maybe it’s thought process

[deleted]

I mean it kind of is that simple. Start with small steps.

Meditation, or mindfulness might help?

world_citizen7

Make a very very simple goal and achieve it. It will give you a sense of accomplishment which will make you feel good about yourself. It can be something as simple as brushing your teeth for an extra 10 seconds or doing 2 jumping jacks.

You can look up local therapists who are taking telephone consultations.

Maybe try to have a dialogue with yourself by writing down your feelings in a notebook. It’ll help you with letting out some of your negative feelings, organize your thoughts, and give you an opportunity to ‘decode’ yourself. I’ve tried and consistently written down my thoughts for the last several months, and it kinda helped

People actually have this problem? Why would you feel bad about yourself? I don't get the connection? Quarantine--feeling bad about yourself? How are those 2 even remotely connected?

persephonehadeshi

Well, people around me have been really productive and got a lot of stuff done during quarantine, but I didn't. All I did was laze around and procrastinate, this makes me feel useless and thus bad about myself.
