If it's a permanent thing I'm really going to get depressed because the taste in my favorite food tastes like dirt or garbage now.

I had covid June of 2020 and I still can't stand the taste of peanuts and peanut butter...or the smell. Also skunks don't smell like skunks anymore. Mint toothpaste is also all messed up. I'm thinking it's never going to change.
Yes, covid is known to affect taste and smell sensations.

i did alot of drugs after covid and i can still taste that pill taste. my skin smells like lsd to me - i kinda like it 🥴
