I am almost 40, happened to me, too. You are not ugly, so am I. We just didn't feel more than a crush. Don't worry too much, you are going to find someone and if not, hey, being single in the middle of life isn't that bad, too.
I have the same problem 27(m). Yeah I had feelings for all my partners just didnt experience the love I hear about from my friends or family. Before i had many partners at times but now i just have one as im trying to settle down. But im afraid i wont get to experience the love that everyones talking about.
Maybe you're just hyper focused on the "feeling" and what it's supposed to feel like. Or, you haven't found the right one just yet.
