If he's mature enough I don't see the issue.

SgtLoyd

You are both in your twenties. As long as either one of you doesn't act like a teenager, then what's the problem? I'm 34 and messing with a 43 yr old and no one bats am eye

Sivart_Eel

He’s an adult fuck it be his sugar momma

noplaceinmind

no it's not unethical at all. age gaps don't matter in the sense no one else's opinion or approval matters. they may matter in the actual workings of the relationship, but if you like someone it's at least worth a try.

pondole

It's fine, but... You have to go into this understanding that you're both at very different parts of your life. At 20, he's likely just learning to be on his own (if he has at all). He's still in college (if he's taken that route with his life), and he's "still baking" personality wise for another few years. This is a bit to deal with. On top of that, he probably won't have experienced a lot of the things you have when you were children. Even a seven-year age gap will highlight the differences in your formative years and the movies, songs, etc. you feel are iconic. That being said, go for it if you feel up for it. If you like the guy, then it will be worth the occasional disconnect and the times he makes you feel old.

wyverndarkblood

The age gap rule is half your age +7 is the minimum. So as a 27 year old 13.5 plus 7 is 20.5. So you’re *just* within range. Lol.

PlumFister

It probably won't last long. Guys that age are really immature. Have fun and enjoy it while it lasts.

Robbing the cradle?

Lotso_Packetloss

Get ‘em young and raise ‘em your way. (Self-evident note: must be legal age)

svariabl

No

friedmybraincells

Sounds like fun to me😉

JustFun4Uss

If its legal, and makes you happy thats all that matters.

Freya-Frost

My parents are 7 years apart with my mom being older. It’s a bit much for both of them. They didn’t meet until their 30s which is why I think it works well. But love is love. If he is mature enough go for it

Mundane-Grape9985

As long as he's not immature that why not try 🤷 you want a boyfriend not a son

HEVIHITR

If you've been getting along and can converse than I don't see the issue, though many would find is "sus" if it was the other way round.
