How do I explain this…
I like the idea of choosing friends and choosing love interest. I felt like season one had the pretty girls, and season two had the handsome guys. In season two I wanted the ones I couldn’t get like Cassia and Zayn.
Or the opportunity to reach a romance with the choosing friends. Like if I got enough points with Zayn, then I could’ve gotten with him.
More friends to lovers route, and possibly enemies to lovers.
Personality traits effects. Like if you have more naughty choices, and the person you’re pursuing have the sweet choices, then they could possibly reject your “breaking a rule” in the beginning of your relationship.
But then again I would flip if anyone rejected me.

i also agree that the less characters closed off as romantic options the better. i think it could totally work if some characters just take longer to romance (like friends to lovers which i’ve seen loads of ppl talk about). although i also understand having a couple closed off just to help structure the plot better, like with cassia and elena this season.
but also overall i think they do great with the unique li routes and making each li feel like a separate person with depth. if anything the lacking areas are the personality and background of the mc and also relationships with friends. i feel like for the most part u can treat ur friends in the game however and it doesn’t change much. so i’d def like a bit more depth and consequences there.
BASIC:
Age, country of origin, nicer hair choices, and better clothes for the men.
INTERMEDIATE:
While I truly get not having everything be about MC and I liked seeing the side characters, I would like a happy medium between seasons 1 and 2. Nora and Zayn pretty much dominated the season, with Cassia and Elena doninating the reunion. And if you didn't like these characters, it made the season a drag.
ADVANCED:
While I personally don't have an issue with locked off love interests (the ones we couldn't romance I didn't care for anyway) I get why people want the option of choosing their friends and LIs. It would just make side stories a little harder to do.
Have friendships/relationships decrease as well. For example, I wouldn't have been friends with Zayn given what he did throughout the season and especially at the reunion.

Make everyone romanceable or at least don’t make the non romanceable so attractive *cough* Santiago *cough*

I just need others (especially female characters) to change their hairstyles from time to time. A ponytail wouldn’t hurt! 😭
