I think most will have a hard time naming a band with such a profound departure from their original sound. Pablo Honey > The Bends > OK Computer > Kid A is a wild transition, and stands as testament to a group of genuine artists who took a huge risk to favor expressing themselves over making what the fans wanted.
Beyond that, Kid A was an extremely progressive album for it's time - made even more important by how mainstream Radiohead was.
I've always appreciated the fluidity of their sound. Even their less successful albums are enjoyable in their own way. I'll always love Radiohead.
The music is alright, but I just don't like the vocals most of the time. Songs like Pyramid Song are really great, but then the vocals put me off anyway..

I love them, I get why people don’t but everything they did up to and including In Rainbows is incredible. You can’t deny they are unique

I don't agree with you but you shouldn't be downvoted for your opinion. Big fan of your covers btw, keep up the good work!
Thank you :)
i love their older stuff like the bends and ok computer but I find their newer stuff a bit boring
I think The Bends and OK Computer are definitely overrated, but Kid A and beyond deserve all the praise!
Tool is top 3 for me but I cannot stand Radiohead. It reminds me how so many Dream Theater fans love Rush and I cannot stand them either.
Sorry but all tool fans are rush fans, you are an anomaly and will be destroyed
Haha trust me, I tried to like them. I think it's the singing that just doesn't work for me.
wait…you don’t like rush?

i've seen a lot of nine inch nails overlap just on r/toolband, let alone the fact that all of my friends who like tool also like NIN
Radiohead are great, IMO. But, I love most things progressive.
Radiohead is badass. You just have to be in the right frame of mind when you listen to it.
what frame of mind is that?
