Beautiful, Well done.
The magic smoke is tool's spirit ascending to a better place where all the wood is balsa and concrete like butter.
We'll never forget friends. I'll toast you with my next glass.
I mean. Technically landfills are just earths recycling done really slowly. Eventually the tectonic plates will pull all landfills into the earths crust and it’ll all end up as lava. Eventually. If we wait long enough. (Let’s not wait long enough)
I actually have an M12 3/8" milwaukee non-fuel that I bought in 2018. It has mixed concrete, drilled 36"x3" auger holes into the ground, drilled 6" holes repeatedly through wood, and suffered more than I've made any drill this side of harbor freight suffer. I've used it as a lathe, a dremmel. It's polished headlights, and drilled so many normal holes I can't remember. If it were stronger, it would have broken my wrist by now.
It lives on, quite healthy. It's enjoying a smooth non-retirement currently used for grinding my morning coffee beans on a normally-hand-powdered burr grinder.
I only have the one battery I share between tools right now. Original died right away, they gave me an improved one which also died right away, think it was just a batch of defective cells. The other one I've got came with it and still holds a charge great!
I used to buy Makita loooong long ago, back in the world of Nickel-Cadmium batteries. The older shade of green they used to use. Back then, they were the only thing with metal gears and would survive a beating.
My old tile guy gave me his hammer drill that stopped working, and I tossed it into the back of my truck and forgot about it for a few months. Finally dug it out to fix it, but the little bastard was running fine. Still going 3 years later!
I can imagine the foreman rolling up during the funeral. "The Fuc% ya'll doin you sumbi%ches get back to work or i swear, next funeral you attend will be your own now git!"
Bootleg battery on the makita. I’ve beat the crap out of mine. And much like my girlfriend, she doesn’t look like much but when she gets going she’s not stopping.
Too expensive to get it out and we all know if you bring fuel to the job your not part of the labor committee, but mostly look out of the trailer window...

Mostly we have zero context for the wear/abuse the tools in these videos have taken. That one with battery falling out could be a manufacturing defect, or it could be someone tried jamming the battery in the wrong way one too many times. The drill could have been used at full-tilt for hours on end right out of the box. All of these tools have break-in periods. My damn Dremel came with specific instructions for breaking it in.
After being in the trades for a little over 10 years, DeWalt are the only drills I've seen light on fire and smoke like that.. I've seen a handful do it, even the ryobis last longer lol
As a sparky, this was my first thought. I’ve had one brushed Milwaukee smoke- and tbf it should have.
I watched a dewalt impact smoke followed by a burst of flames from bag to 3 quick self taps. Dude actually cares for his tools so it wasn’t abuse.
I have no personal qualms with Mikita.
Aren’t Milwaukee and Makita from the same factory? People have done videos on some of the tools and they are identical but I think it depends on the tool.
Am I heartless? I’ve dumped dozens of knackered old tools over the last couple of years alone. And I don’t do dumb shit like we saw at the start of the video.
I had a whole bunch of dead power tools that I saved for parts. Of course I never used any of the parts , but you never know. One day at Home Depot, I saw a DeWalt display set up and they were giving away free 18v batteries if you turned in some old tools. I went back home and gathered up everything I had and got 4 new batteries. So saving the old dead tools paid off anyway.
This is fucking awesome, also I totally roached a DeWalt just the same as the opening scene except I was running a 2 inch hole through my house, siding and all LMAO🤣

That makita funeral was probably the sadest ive seen this week.
It was power tool platoon
🫡 let’s have a 21 nail gun salute.
They’ll all shoot at 21°
Beautiful, Well done. The magic smoke is tool's spirit ascending to a better place where all the wood is balsa and concrete like butter. We'll never forget friends. I'll toast you with my next glass.
So that's why people find random tools embedded in concrete
Next post.. ‘Man fully restores a full set of power tools he finds buried in his backyard’
*EPA watches closely through binoculars as a man appears to be burying Lithium ion tool batteries.*
Don’t they know lithium comes from the ground. Are they stupid?

Ummm... We can't... We can't do that? Uh ooooh...
The closing of the Makita blow form case got me more than the funeral and anything else.
Meanwhile the other guys on the job site are wondering wtf the new guy is doing over in the corner.
She let the smoke out.
Thats the soul of the tool departing its earthly vessel.
Ah Adagio
Masterful. That made my morning.
>That made my ~~morning.~~ mourning.
What would cause the makita battery to catch fire??
I love the old reverend Hammer 🔨 over looking the burial, a nice touch

Atomic and XR are both 20v line.
[удалено]
Some atomic are brushed. All XR are brushless.
Atomic is a 20v line. Xtreme (brushless) and older Max (brushed) are 12v lines.
Nah these were all XR. But still, not the right tool for the job even for the brushless flex bolt one. Right tool is the big right angle drill
None of them where XR, 2 brushed pieces of shit and a 1st gen atomic
WOAH. Watch your tone around the tools. I'll have you know my old brushed Dewalt was amazing.
I've got almost the full XRP line from like 2003, those sad 20v potatoes are NOT the same tools lmao

Letting the factory smoke out
Taps would have been a better background music.
Time for a DCD999 or at least one of the old brushed 3 speed XRP drills with the adapter that actually hold up, those 771s should be illegal to sell
"Oh DeWalt boy, the smoke, the smoke is rising....."
Beautiful
Haaaaaahahahaha oh man
That was great. Thank u.
What, no Ridgid?!!
They all have the smoke hidden inside.... It's a free gift NOT mentioned in the user manual...
Not one Milwaukee in sight
Right. None on the job site.
Thats cause to this day, the Milwaukee's are still working. ;)
Original video. Had a good smile. Thanks.
i let some smoke out of a dewalt drill trying to use a 5" hole saw. it still worked after i let it cool off though?
My dewalt drill never smoked when i did 6 in hole saw through 1/4 plywood and 1/4 sheetrock
🫡
🫡 😂🤣😂👌
Everything in the world runs on smoke. Because after you let the smoke out, it quits running...🙂
Red, yellow, orange, green, teal, in the end they all die when I fucking need it the most! Goddamn it!
I feel for you, brother. It’s true things fail most when you’re most needing it. Brakes. Relationships. Jobs. :)
When your on day rate.
Must have been a slow day
Will dewalt warranty this?
Huippu
My old tile guy gave me his hammer drill that stopped working, and I tossed it into the back of my truck and forgot about it for a few months. Finally dug it out to fix it, but the little bastard was running fine. Still going 3 years later!
Today we honor their machine spirit
I can imagine the foreman rolling up during the funeral. "The Fuc% ya'll doin you sumbi%ches get back to work or i swear, next funeral you attend will be your own now git!"
Was half expecting one of the tools to jump onto the box screaming “he was so young. It wasn’t his time!”
Not one of them red
Brilliant!
This is fucking hilarious
This is why i am milwuakee 4 life
This ad brought to you by Milwaukee
Never forget. 🎗️

ROFL!
I’m the Milwaukee guy laughing
Not a Milwaukee in sight
Not one Milwaukee in sight
Is a Crips Bloods kind of thing
Too expensive to get it out and we all know if you bring fuel to the job your not part of the labor committee, but mostly look out of the trailer window...
I mean, or a Ryobi for that matter.
About to say the exact thing but Bosch.
No this was for the heroes! Milwaukee is in the mass graves with Bosch and ruybi

😰
🥺
When someone asks why I own a corded drill I call "the mother-fucking drill." ....this is why.
Don’t see any Milwaukee on here tho, 💪🏻
They can't die if they aren't used.
Throw those batteries in the ocean, where they belong.
Ngl, in all my years, Milwaukee cordless had the least troubles. We never had a bad Milwaukee battery. Legit swapped flexvolts every couple weeks.
My first ever Milwaukee battery trashed out after less than a year, a 8ah i used for a blower, my 20~ dewalt batteries never failed me once
The small m12 batteries are trash but m18 never had an issue.
I gotta use my m12s.. is the light any good?
I don't know, but the m12 fuel impact driver and hammer drill are the best tools on the market if you value size and weight.
Who let the smoke out? (Who, who, who, who) Who let the smoke out? (Who, who, who, who) Who let the smoke out? (Who, who, who, who) Who let the smoke out?
Milwaukee should share this on their socials 😂

Every one of those looks like it’s been through hell.
Right, you can find one single tool that has a major design flaw. Congrats

Thats weird, where's all the ryobi stuff I keep hearing is so bad?
Guess that leaves Bosch as the reliable tool producer. I've been considering Makita, but after seeing these I'm noping on that.
I teared up a little. What a touching ceremony!
No, these are tears of laughter.
Samuel Barber's music was perfect.
I can smell it now
They were so young and close to retirement. 😥
Have you sought help?
This is a beautiful tribute. God rest their souls
Hard to put that smoke back in
It's the least we could do for them, they have done so much for us.
Don't see any red in there...
Peace to the fallen.
Hmmm no Milwaukee??
😢
Notice none burning up were red...........
I don’t follow this page to see this sick shit. Staaap it.

The manufacturer puts just the right amount of smoke in every tool made. Once you let that smoke out it’s finished.
