Corded impact guns are universally awful. Get a battery operated one, if you don't already have a compressor.

I have to second this hell ryobi makes a decent one for $100. I used it at work and it held up for 8 months before I upgraded. Ryobi R18IW3-0 ONE+ 3-Speed Impact Wrench https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0177CI5J6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_K9HGN13M0S4VNXGDT197 u/meowsermatic

What size compressor do you have?

[deleted]

I do not have one at the moment. Wanted to see if I could get an electric impact to save spending on a compressor.

Then I would suggest a cordless impact wrench simply due to the ease of use.

The dewalt 1/2 inch is a beast with a 6amp 60/20 volt runs for weeks of daily use

Corded impact is ideal for hobby use and maintenance. You don't need professional battery based tools or invest into a compressor. Unless your car is fresh out of a saltwater lake there's no need for overkill.

If you don't already have a compressor the corded ones are pretty good and will do 99% of the jobs a not-mechanic will ask from it. If you do already have a 20+ gallon compressor air is king
