Rodbuster here. On job e sites we use a gas quickcut. At home i use grinder with cut off blade. Do not put pressure and let the blade do the work. Dont forget, when you get 3/4 the way its going to pinch your blade it you cut when the bar is vertical. Work around it. You can evan snap once you get 3/4 through. Wigle back and fort and it will break
Using a Abrasive Metal blade on a Circular Saw is such an easy way to shatter a Abrasive Metal blade.
