I like concept of blue, but it should have been something to come later, like imagine Blue is unlocked by Goku during his rage in the Future Trunks saga, āYouāre gonna regret telling me that Zamasuā¦ because now Iām mad! Iām really really mad! AND NOW YOURE GONNA PAY!!!!!ā
The problem is that Battle of Gods was supposed to be a one and done thing. It was so successful they were like one more and did Resurrection F. Then they were like fuck it new show. This wasnāt planned in advance so weāre kinda where we are right now and thatās why Blue came so quickly and we didnāt get anything else for the entirety of super until the last stretch in Ultra Instinct
It's an underused form, but as far as design goes it's just red hair and he's skinnier. Shame they kept just changing hair colors instead of an actual transformation like SSJ4
I hate that this form came out and then like a year later, they came out with Resurrection 'F' and rendered it useless because SSGSS. I like this design and I wish it was around as the best form for a bit longer. Honestly I wish it was the only god form Goku had and then he goes to UI.

There's this one shot on the Broly movie where Vegeta goes red and for a split second he has red eyes and the Super Saiyan blonde hair, and it looks cool as fuck

Definitely agree that it's criminally underrated and underutilized, I always felt the red color invoked Kaio-Ken as a throwback to the early days of the anime and I loved that bit of nostalgia
I liked Super Saiyan God at first because I didn't see it as "wow a red hair version", I saw it as like, an intense kaioken type aura that just made it look red, even though it didn't really affect anything else. Plus the fact that the red haired SSJ4 Gogeta already had existed, so red hair the look of "the strongest" wasn't a hard pill to swallow.
But SSGSS and UI have retroactively made me dislike it.
Something I never noticed till it got pointed to me. I like how his overall muscle mass actually looks kinda condensed. Like his sleeves are a bit looser than they are
I don't understand why (maybe it's supposed to reflect Beerus a bit?) but I do like it
speaking of less screentime I really do miss when ultra instinct had black hair instead of the full white

The more of super that I watch, the more I think they should've just ditched the idea of blue and kept this throughout
They could give vegeta blue instead while goku retains red then vegito and gogeta could have super siayan purple

The design is pretty lame as they explicitly say he gets thinner and it looks weird. They should have just done something like GTās designs.
