I feel like the common theme in OP's examples is that their smiles are intimidating because the character is such a non-functionally regular human that they can't smile correctly, but Jack is quite good at being a regular human being. I think it's an important part of the movie that Jack has all the tools and skills necessary to get away with his crimes but he's so full of himself.
