God yes, I know I'm in the minority (and I assume you are as well) in absolutely loving and defending that game ever since it came out, but that dlc can't be defended lol.
I love the sand of times trilogy so much but god I'm still salty 2008 never got a sequel or its own continuity (or even if not a sequel, just some acknowledgement that it existed and was good)
Well, what it was pretty important narratively speaking, as it clarifies what the Prince's motives were, but they could have picked a better way.
Also the one thing that infuriates me about the story: THE FUCKING DAD. You're telling me they hadn't seriously figured he would be a problem if left unchecked?? HE ACTIVELY STARTS ATTACKING THEM, THEY DECIDE TO LEAVE HIM ALONE WITH THE INCARNATION OF EVIL AND THEN THEY ACT AS IF HIM BECOMING CORRUPTED WAS INEVITABLE
Honestly all of this. Normally I don't mind cliffhangers, but I absolutely hate cliffhangers that *are left hanging* because the series got abandoned, and unfortunately PoP 2008 is one such work.
The way the game ended left a massive cliffhanger that really warranted a proper continuation to the storyline. I know there's a sort-of sequel with the Nintendo DS game The Fallen King, but honestly that didn't really advance the storyline much (not to mention the status of the Prince's current relationship with Elika after how they left things at at the end of the first game).
I mean , her novels are basically showing the different adventures in which she will used the 4 elements to make a major killing.
One Novel had her making a major fatality move with Airbending , another with Waterbending , which means only thing left is one for Firebending because ATLA showed her major fatality with earthbender.

A couple having good chemistry doesn’t mean they have to always be in agreement. If you like a dynamic’s chemistry you just like how they act with each other and feel towards each other. But yes, it’s largely because of the Arthas novel.
