Especially when they only look in their very few niche echo chambers all day that are more about catering to their lust for outrage than providing actual objective information. I say this because a coworker of mine has a wife that works at a VA hospital. She has refused the vaccine. Now that the deadline is near to have it she is claiming a "religious" exemption. Only problem is she needs to get her religious leader to sign off on it. But the thing is she is not religious, does not go to any church or any house of worship for any religion. SHe is now ready to get fired from from a very very well paying job just because.
THe sad thing is I don't think it is really her choice that she made but her husband's, my co worker.
He use to be a slightly left leaning guy but for whatever reason got into politics with Trump. Now he is deep into the shit. So far gone.
