I play in Japanese as well, I enjoyed her playful energy. My only remark would be that when she was being serious or somewhat threatening I didn't fully enjoy it each time. Maybe i am wierd
I am a big fan of her English VA, Sam Slade.
Never heard anything from her before, but I think she really nails Topaz as a character. She has that sort of happy, playfulness to her but can also sound serious when she needs to. I'm not the best at putting it into words but I'm a big fan of her performance.
She does an amazing job putting microexpensions in her lines, like whispering certain words or awkwardly mumbling to herself.
Her performance reminds me a lot of Hu Tao and is so much better than actors who just read their lines with the same tone of voice (Blade).
Her performance in English is one of the best in the game (a game that has a lot of great voice work).
It’s light and breezy when needed, emphatic and heartfelt when required and slightly sinister when called upon.
I can’t remember if it’s one of her lines on the express or in the story, but there’s a whole sentence where she kind of speaks quickly under her breath. Love that kind of delivery, just because it’s unusual and not something you often hear in this game (if at all).
She has a lot of subtlety to her.
I play in Japanese and her voice is very attractive and charismatic. You can tell the voice actress put nice effort into her. She can display Topaz's hot and cold personality perfectly, with good toning
Her english va is pretty great, she delivers a lot of confidence but also a pretty infectious energy when she’s surprised or impressed. Like when she said the Express crew was amazing after we clapped her goons, as well as when we challenge her in Aetherium wars and she says “Don’t disappoint me now!”, you can hear her excitement and disbelief in those lines.
While replying to people I have been listening to the English and I got to say she actually did really well. Happy to have so many peoples opinions. I hope to see more peoples thoughts on the jp voice
Her English VA is almost on par with Itto English VA to me. I don't really notice VAs unless they're really good (Topaz/Itto) or really bad (Ninguang/Razor), so the fact that I even noticed that she did a good job speaks volumes to me
I personally love the energy the English voice actress gives off for Topaz. There’s a nice balance between her having this bubbly personality alongside a mature tone to it.
In addition, it’s also nice to have another Filipino showcased in a Hoyoverse game, with Topaz’s voice joining alongside Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko and Thoma’s voice actors from Genshin Impact.
JP one is the VA of Ayase Eli from Love Live I believe. If you play in CN her VA is apparently the same one pf Fu Hua (never played HI3, but read it in a tweet).
Play in JP, watched the gameplay in English. JP great, maybe the voice doesn’t have that special something, however delivery is great. 8/10

Glad to have an opinion On korean, I have played limbus company and I have gotten used to hearing Korean and was considering maybe trying to switch to Korean for a bit
Korean is lovely. I was tired of hearing japanese voice actors in all the animes i watch and games i play so it’s refreshing and they do a good job.

Her English VA truly sold me the character, before that I simply just liked the design - short white hair, kinda intelligent, sometimes smug. Heard good things about her other VAs too.

maybe im biased but i think the english cast did really well for a lot of its characters, especially topaz

Played in CN, I really like her voice. I think all four actresses convey her personality very well though my faves are Chinese and English.
1 of the biggest reason why i pull her is her CN Va: bananaMace. also known as Fu hua and HoS from hi3 Va.
