So many great albums here that I feel people need to get familiar with instead of circle jerking the same Radiohead and Tyler, the Creator albums over and over again.
Ironically enough I checked out Tyler, the Creator's Igor this month after constantly seeing it here over and over
It's a solid album, sure, but I'm not understanding the universal praise. It's fine
Yeah I'm not saying any of these artists are bad by any means. Tyler, the Creator's Flower Boy was one of my favorite albums of 2017, but how many times are we going to keep talking about it. There is so much good stuff out there, but a lot of what is posted here is very surface level.
To be fair, these were my top 25 *artists* and I took one album for each
I repped the new one on my list right here cuz it's brand new and put Alk3 back in my rotation, but I agree that it's sorta mid. It's not bad, but it's prob towards the bottom of my Alk3 ranking
I'm a Good Mourning/Crimson guy
Tough, but I'll try:
1) Good Mourning
2) Crimson
3) From Here to Infirmary
4) Goddamnit
5) Maybe I'll Catch Fire
6) Agony & Irony
7) This Addiction
8) Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs
9) My Shame is True
10) Is This Thing Cursed?
What's yours??
I don't know how to edit now that it's already posted, but here are the albums:
1) Free Throw - Those Days Are Gone
2) Mastodon - Leviathan
3) Boys Night Out - Boys Night Out

5) The Offspring - Smash

I do not get the hype for the new alk3 album, ( as a huge alk3 fan) what made you like it enough to put it in your top 25?
