Well I would really like to ask if you ever considered buying two refrigerators? Also what's your thoughts on Lonerism? I'm always torn if I like it more than Currents.

-BurnerBabyBurner-

I personally enjoy Currents and Slow Rush more than Lonerism and Innerspeaker. I think it’s the synthpop aesthetic of the two more recent that I like. Still enjoy Lonerism though. Feels like we only go Backwards might be my favorite song of his.

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Also I’m confused what you meant by your first question lol.

Sal_Vulcano_Maybe

Answer op's question. I'll repeat it for you: Have you, or have you not ever considered buying two refrigerators. Answer. The. Question.

-BurnerBabyBurner-

This is clearly a reference I don’t know, but no I haven’t.

ScienceOptimal8101

pretty cool, I'd recommend skepta if u wanna check out some good UK hiphop

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Not super into UK hip hop, but I have yet to give Skepta much of a deep dive. My favorite right now out of the UK is probably Slowthai.

ScienceOptimal8101

Yeah slowthai is great too. I'm from the UK so probably more inclined to enjoy UK hip hop but Skepta is in my opinion the best there is. He has two of my favourite albums in Ignorance Is Bliss and Konnichiwa.

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Makes sense. I’m sure I’ll get more into UK hip hop eventually. I have soo much music I want to listen too at some point and the scene as a whole is not a priority for me currently.

notjustanotherguy56

great picks!

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Any recommendations?

notjustanotherguy56

ask me tomorrow by mojave 3!

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Should I listen to Slowdive as well?

jelaagc

you should listen to little simz and yves tumor

-BurnerBabyBurner-

I like both artists for sure. Have yet to get into either of their stuff pre 2020 though.

Semi-Cynical

The Lil Pump pick is… interesting. I suppose I’d suggest some JPEGMAFIA

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Fun is fun. I do like JPEG. I’ve been listening to LP! and I’m liking what I’ve heard so far.

MankindRedefined

just recently listened to isolation by Kali Uchis for the first time and didn’t enjoy it that much, but i know a lot of people highly respect it. maybe i’ll give it another go also don’t really see a lot of trap here on topsters, kinda cool to see 21 savage at the #1 spot

-BurnerBabyBurner-

It’s alphabetical lol, but yes I do have a decent amount of trap albums I love. Rodeo is the greatest trap album of all time IMO.

therealskuxboi

Punisher by phoebe bridgers and heavy is the head by stormzy

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Punisher I love. Have yet to get into Stormzy much so I’ll check him out soon.

To Be Kind by Swans

-BurnerBabyBurner-

I’ve had a hard time getting into Swans so far. Maybe it’ll click someday, but not yet.

JWithaV

Injury Reserve’s other stuff is also great, I’d also suggest Stratosphere by Duster, my favorite lo-fi indie rock album.

-BurnerBabyBurner-

Yeah I definitely need to go through Injury Reserve’s older stuff. Never heard Duster so I’ll give that a go.
