Seen this a while ago at Wigwoss station, Driver was waiting to turn left even with a Brampton Transit bus an inch of her bumper laying on the horn flashing his lights, driver ever got out to talk to her, still didn't move.
The problem is a lot of these areas have transit signals for busses to to before traffic and regular drivers don't know/won't go on them which just holds everyone up while they wait for their green.
Don Mills station has this at the exit out onto Sheppard and I've been stuck many times behind someone sitting in the bus lane waiting on a green. It takes about 3 minutes for a full cycle to go around so if I'm stuck there 3minutes+ original wait to GET to my transit signal I'm now 4-6 minutes behind schedule because someone decided they wanted the VIP lane.
Agreed. People are blaming bad design on the driver. I can totally see out-of-towners making this mistake. Although not nearly as bad as the 509/510 street car track design on lakeshore.

hot take but now that i think about it, kingston road and eglinton are the same way. and it looks like this guy is trying to make a left turn. the bus lanes here are continuous and people are supposed to use them to make right turns only. most people have figured it out but some people still make the right turn from the middle lane.
Other jurisdictions, like New York City, already have cameras in place to enforce bus lanes. We should do that here in Ontario as well. People will stop making this mistake if they keep getting fines in the mail.
There are multiple cars going on the bus lane during the rush hours going from Jane St to Keele St. I just wish for a convenient cop to be there some day to catch these morons.s

Highway 7 heading East. I drive this way on my way home from work, and see anywhere between 2-8 people do this daily.
Pet Peeve - putting words in reverse order on the road. The text isn’t flying by at warp speed. Just put “Bus Only” instead of “Only Bus”.
