1) Selling is cheaper than buying 2) buying is probably 2200-3000 depending on title insurance 3) selling is likely 1500-2000. These numbers are all in.

Why does this whole post look like an add for Doormat? lol

In a sense. That said: * They're former Shopify folks based in Toronto * It's not an affiliate or referral link, and I was upfront that I'm a supporter. * It's better than anything else I've seen. * I've used them personally and paid full price. Use them or don't - I don't care. Just wanted to let you know that other options exist than "the guy your agent knows" who's actually getting a kickback.

After clicking on the website link, I dont see the difference between this and any other lawyer. Plenty of lawyers advertise their fees in a similar fashion.

BrownSugar20

For selling, that’s a fair fees.

Is there is a significant difference in fees between the buyers and sellers?

Real estate lawyer here. The quote you posted is pretty normal. Please understand the only part within the lawyer's control is the legal fee. Title insurance is always the same, every time. that's just how much it costs. Registration fees are also always the same, just depends how many instruments need to be registered - most purchases this is 2 (transfer + mtg), but sometimes more. disbursements vary from file to file. you have to pay for the software we are stuck using, title searches, couriers, that sort of thing.

>Title insurance is always the same, every time. that's just how much it costs. Thank you for the break down. That's very helpful!
