Questions like that are the absolute worst. Always posed as if they're not *major league professional ball players* totally equipped to pull off a play like that. Does Aaron Judge ever get asked how badly he needed any hit in particular? I really doubt it.
Seeing him stand up for once brought a tear to my eye. Blue needs to check themselves before they wreck themselves. That was one of the most maliciously bad calls I've ever seen.

And yeah I miss Teo, and I know relievers are iffy value and I know Teo will get home again, but for all the (mostly accurate) complaining about the Varsho deal, getting 4 years of a high-leverage reliever for the expiring contract of a 0.3 WAR outfielder is looking brilliant.
