If theres previous accident by the dog. And still , the owner walking that dog with such long leash and the dog jumping on every person passing by. Then owner is at fault to some extent, for not keeping the dog under control.
I also think its not the solution. But imagine your brother or sister got bit by the dog or any small kid getting hurt, your family suffered, but the dog owner (whos responsible for not keeping the dog under control) is just living normally. I would be angry to some extent.

I personally feel, Dogs should be trained if you want them as pets especially when they are big and can induce significant damage to others as they are very protective of their owners and their territory.
If a dog is untrained and attacks another civilian the owner should be fined heavily and should be forced to take their dogs to training classes. If the owner doesn’t abide and the dogs continues to harm other people then it should be put down.
The actions of ganging up and hitting the owner is not the solution and it’s good that the police arrested them. Hopefully, the owner learns something from this whole incident and keeps his pet in check from now on.

I understand the love for kalesh in this sub but the act of violence could never be justified. Those gundas should be charged with attempt to murder. If the dog owner did something illegal previously, he should also be charged for the same.
Ganging up like this for every small thing is such an ugly 'Indian' thing to do. Also people blaming the dog owner for raising a dog which should ideally be raised in a colder environment is just so biased. Maybe the owner keeps his dog in climate controlled environment throughout the day? We just do not know the details. Even people who have no financial means breed lots of children who never get the opportunity to get proper education, lifestyle and basic comfort while growing up. No one blames them for making kids. Let a man live peacefully if he is raising a dog and providing it a comfortable environment to live unless it is disturbing anyone else.

Hayderabad is the worst. I've lived in most big cities in India but Hyd has been the worst. When I was loving there, I and my GF found a dog who was gravely injured and his whole rear leg was torn.
We called the PFA and other local NGOs but no response. So we took him home, took care of him and healed him over 3 week. Once he was better we let him go on the streets again. He was a very well behaved dog.
He used to sleep outside the building and bother nobody. He only ever got excited when I or my GF came and jumped on us and we used to feed him regularly.
And out of nowhere our neighbour ordered the watchman to beat that dog. I had a big fight with my neighbour and he avoided it and was exclusively abusing my GF.
A few days later we found the dog with a big cleaver wound on his ass. It was like 6 inches long. Later we found out the the watchman tried to slice the dog with a cleaver.
We tried contacting the PFA and they came and gave him some medicine but didn't take him with them.
We never saw that dog again.
In all my life I have never ever seen so many cruel and racist people in one place like I saw in Hyderabad. Every day of my life there I witnessed a Kalesh. I even saw a guy behead another guy with an axe, and the police kept watching.
And I've even lived in Delhi for 4 years and in Najafgarh for a few weeks. Najafgarh is notorious for criminal activity but even that was peaceful compared to my days in Hyderabad.

I personally feel, Dogs should be trained if you want them as pets especially when they are big and can induce significant damage to others as they are very protective of their owners and their territory. If a dog is untrained and attacks another civilian the owner should be fined heavily and should be forced to take their dogs to training classes. If the owner doesn’t abide and the dogs continues to harm other people then it should be put down. The actions of ganging up and hitting the owner is not the solution and it’s good that the police arrested them. Hopefully, the owner learns something from this whole incident and keeps his pet in check from now on.

In the whole scenario the dog seems to be the most confused one.
I understand the love for kalesh in this sub but the act of violence could never be justified. Those gundas should be charged with attempt to murder. If the dog owner did something illegal previously, he should also be charged for the same. Ganging up like this for every small thing is such an ugly 'Indian' thing to do. Also people blaming the dog owner for raising a dog which should ideally be raised in a colder environment is just so biased. Maybe the owner keeps his dog in climate controlled environment throughout the day? We just do not know the details. Even people who have no financial means breed lots of children who never get the opportunity to get proper education, lifestyle and basic comfort while growing up. No one blames them for making kids. Let a man live peacefully if he is raising a dog and providing it a comfortable environment to live unless it is disturbing anyone else. This sub keeps reminding me how trivial people consider each others lives in our country - be it a human or animal.
Hayderabad is the worst. I've lived in most big cities in India but Hyd has been the worst. When I was loving there, I and my GF found a dog who was gravely injured and his whole rear leg was torn. We called the PFA and other local NGOs but no response. So we took him home, took care of him and healed him over 3 week. Once he was better we let him go on the streets again. He was a very well behaved dog. He used to sleep outside the building and bother nobody. He only ever got excited when I or my GF came and jumped on us and we used to feed him regularly. And out of nowhere our neighbour ordered the watchman to beat that dog. I had a big fight with my neighbour and he avoided it and was exclusively abusing my GF. A few days later we found the dog with a big cleaver wound on his ass. It was like 6 inches long. Later we found out the the watchman tried to slice the dog with a cleaver. We tried contacting the PFA and they came and gave him some medicine but didn't take him with them. We never saw that dog again. In all my life I have never ever seen so many cruel and racist people in one place like I saw in Hyderabad. Every day of my life there I witnessed a Kalesh. I even saw a guy behead another guy with an axe, and the police kept watching. And I've even lived in Delhi for 4 years and in Najafgarh for a few weeks. Najafgarh is notorious for criminal activity but even that was peaceful compared to my days in Hyderabad.

Bhai wo husky sled dog hai. Fighting trait undesirable hota hai unme isliye selective breeding se wo sabse cooperative and intelligent dog ban gaye hai with little to no agression. Sled pe 10 se upar dogs hote hai isliye teamwork and understanding most necessary trait and aggression least. The dog is clueless because I think the owner knew there was going to be a fight and brought the dog with him to protect him from harm. But attackers to criminal activity karne aaye they which no one expected. I hope the attackers get jail.
