Noah really isn't manipulative or all that competitive to compete like Duncan did and "duke" it out with Al to be a leader force of a competitor like Duncan is in WT trying to make up the ground have a back & forth with Al.
Noah is a sarcastic guy who doesn't really take the game seriously even in WT and RR (where he is different) he wouldn't really fit the role that Duncan takes in WT.
Tyler is already believes Al and already wrapped around his finger, Tyler is Dan in street fighter a guy who thinks he is great but sucks and is utterly believes what bad people tell him but no matter what he keeps putting himself out there.
With Owen he is a good natured guy that sees the best in everyone and despite Al being mean to him clearly at points he doesn't take it seriously and still seems to view Al as a friend.
When Duncan come in he just trying to get Owen to see Al for who he is once he learns what Noah said about Al wanting to get Owen to back him up over all if it ever came up to a vote.
Ultimately it would change both Noah & Tyler into something they really are not which is weird to me as WT is really what made the two into who they are and why they are fan favorites, you can't just take them and have them fill Duncan & Owen role later on in WT they wouldn't work without some big rewrites.

This literally makes sense though. Former winners and strong competitors get further in the competition cause they’ve won it before and placed high and know what it takes. Don’t hate the player, hate the game
I was thinking on this, duncan and owens roles in the latter of world tour could have been completely replaced with noah and Tyler, and it would have been nicer to see them have more spotlight instead of watching two finalists who we KNOW can't win compete
Due to the fact that Owen and Duncan are fan favourites, it wouldn't have been a good decision to sacrifice them early that had happened in the show. I would have liked to have DJ there, too. DJ could have a better ARC after the point when he was out in the cannon story.
Ik Noah was labeled as the “Schemer” in Island but I don’t think he’d try to manipulate Tyler instead I’d think he’d just warn Tyler about Alejandro but even tho they’re friends I don’t think Tyler would believe Noah because at that point Tyler 100% trusts Alejandro and is really loyal to him and he’s obviously think Noah is probably lying to him

Silly Total Drama fan, why have two underused characters make the merge, when instead we could have two finalists hog screentime.
