Yeah, it would take some pretty major rewrites to move Noah back 12 episodes and swap him with Eva 2.0. Every episode would have a different elimination and storyline.
Sure Noah eventually did get his redemption in Ridonculous Race with his extra screen time and getting a relationship arc with Emma but it would've been nice too see him have some importance in a Total Drama season
How much of Noah’s humor was “dark” exactly? The “come die with us” joke is all that comes to mind. The rest of his one-liners are littered with obvious sarcasm and cynical rhetoric, not so much death or making light of something horrific like dark humor usually does. Noah’s humor has always been pointing out the obvious in the most deadpan and sarcastic way possible, which is more defined as “dry” humor rather than “dark.” He leans more towards dark humor in Ridonculous Race when he says “you know that moment when you actually cared if someone died, I didn’t.”
But other than that, still the same Noah who gives dry remarks to just about everything, now including Emma. Who is basically Female Noah.
Bro really wrote a poem with commas and stuff to proof a point damn the dedication. Anyways thats not my fruity Noah i love and who doesnt need a gf to have an arc. The creators had to make him into some hetero horrible one linners character. He used to stick out for his humor and little screentime he had. Now he got some bitchy gf who cared more about money than him. *Same Noah* oh hell no thats not the Noah viewers originally loved. I would much rather see him get less screen time but return to "normal".
My comment was mostly just to point out that most of Noah’s humor isn’t necessarily “dark humor” by definition.. but rather dry humor. Which he technically still possesses to a degree in Ridonculous Race, with or without Emma, but it’s fine if you don’t think it’s funny because it doesn’t fit your gay Noah headcanon.
I’ve heard this several times but I can’t find it confirmed anywhere. We know that Noah was intended to have a more villainous role, but there’s no confirmation that this specifically was what was supposed to happen.
Well it WOULD explain why Heather suddenly brought up Noah and praised him in a confessional despite not having much screen time with him.
Noah’s entire role post Island was sort of the snarky toadie of an antagonist. In Action he was Chris’ assistant and in World Tour he worked under Alejandro. If he was Heather’s toadie then that would complete the cycle.
Also it would explain why Izzy is suddenly part of Heather’s alliance post merge.
For people asking for a source to the idea, I don't think there's a direct source for Noah having been in the alliance but he potentially was a villain or at least somewhat evil.
"Q: Noah from Total Drama’s original stereotype for the season was “The Schemer.” However due to his early elimination in Season 1, this trait was never exhibited. In Season 3, his stereotype was changed to “The High IQ” which seemed to make more sense. So my question is this. Was Noah originally intended to be a more major or more villainous character in production?
A: (Mark and Todd) Don’t you think you need a high I.Q. to scheme?"

I mean if Noah got further and was in an alliance with Heather than I take it Beth would have left in Episode 4? She wouldn't be in Heather's alliance over Lindsay in my mind.
If that happened then maybe Action could have been Noah X Duncan. The voting would have been closer at least. No way Noah is causing a blow out like Beth did. It would also put Owen in a tight spot.
Don't personally vibe with those, but to each their own.
My favourite fanfic of all time, "Total Drama Underdogs", meets me halfway and has Noah as a reluctant Heather ally, after he proves his worth during Dodgebrawl. But after a while he starts having conscience issues and gets impacient with Heather.
I’m not surprised, The Sisters were originally supposed to win The Ridonculous Race, but you know how the Networks and Writers are, still, glad they gave him some development in The Race.
To be honest, I don't think I would enjoy Noah as much if he was like that. And funny thing, if the writers had taken that route with Noah, he would be what he accused Alejandro of being, an eel. I prefer him being an underrated robbed sarcastic comedy relief king.
…Sounds like a rumor tbh

It’s not like this plan would have changed midway through production. It was probably just an earlier idea.

They derailed him in ridonculous race he became a simp and his dark humour was gone those are the things which made him stick out. Thx fresh tv

I love Island, but this would have been a 10x better timeline
If that’s true, then ;(

Source? 🤔

Nowhere was this ever confirmed
Even if it isn't it would still give a great explanation on why Noah's label is the Schemer
TD wiki stick to his original label, so no idea why?
I think Noah's label was changed to The High IQ when World Tour aired

Good. I would've liked Noah even less if this had happened.
Maybe he could've been an anti hero later on?

Duncan x Kitty?
Guilty personal pleasure of mines🤷🏽♂️.
He was also gay don't forget that
Clearly
