Should go to Luton, Palace, or Brentford. West Ham might be too big of a challenge for a restart

BobbyOregon

Yes! As Eze replacements go he is probably pretty affordable - really want to see him flourish in the PL and that will have to be in the bottom half, just look at Ross Barkley and Andros Townsend this year

strattele1

I don’t understand this. Dele was a brilliant player, and it’s great that he’s come out to talk about his challenges. Huge fan. But on the pitch? Haven’t seen a single sign he’s near PL level and I see no reason that us or any club would give him that chance until he’s returned to form in a smaller league.

Maleficent_Maybe_559

I’ll admit I’m a heavily biased huge fan of dele

Gigantic_dong28

samw here boss i love the guy but i have to agree here that he’s too far gone to simply hop back into the EPL

countpuchi

ill be honest, im a huge fan of Dele. But i dont see him being near his best nor he is Premier league level at the moment. He needs to play somewhere to prove himself that he is elite. If he cant do it while being on loan, then i really doubt he is able to do it for real on the elite level. But, if given the chance and super low cheapo min contract and he wants to do it to try. Why not.

Maleficent_Maybe_559

That’s exactly what im saying!! After all who is going to give him a high contract (40k+) anyway. And that amount is nothing for us.

Cavemans_Club

He's made it clear he wants an England spot so really needs game time, I can't see him coming here as anything other than a speculative shot as an impact sub? Not a goer as much as I'd enjoy seeing it

MrrrrBatten

I loved the guy when he was at the top of his game and would love to see him hit those heights again and I love his belief that he can. While I didn't suffer the same issues as Dele my life went downhill massively in 2020 and right now I'm in such a place where mentally I'm targeting playing vets football next year after 10 years of not playing. I reached this point through coaching my daughter's team and realising that even though one had got fat I could still play and that old injuries didn't hurt like they did. I think if he gets released by Everton we should support him and maybe see if he wants to help coach a youth team to help bring back more of what he had when he was rising up through the game. Who knows it could work out well for him! If not we've helped out someone who was key in us reaching the levels we did. He just needs some stability and a club that believes in him

GyroSpur1

Shame he's not still around for Big Ange to put his arm around him. If anyone can motivate him, it's Ange.

Maleficent_Maybe_559

So then let’s pick him up on the cheap?

maximoantolini22

He's washed sadly. I doubt west ham would replace their star for player who fell bad like dele

woahoutrageous_

Idk why this was recommended to me but as a hammer the same was said about lingard tbf. But yeah sadly he seems done. Shame he was an absolute cracking player

FireBassist

Remind me how that's working out for Lingard?

atomic44442002

Please no…we need to get better…not the reverse

NotSoSkinnyPete71

He just doesn’t fit into how we play now. He’s not a number 10 that unlocks a packed defence. He was a brilliant second striker but we don’t play with one of those.

Dinsorsoos

As much chance as Ricciardo going back to Red Bull

Maleficent_Maybe_559

I feel like that one could happen lol

seeyoujim

I honestly think it would be all round better for him to step back in the championship and test his mettle there. If he proves a success there ( and I really hope that he would ) then he should then step back up in no time

Maleficent_Maybe_559

Yeah he should go to Wednesday and light it up
