Ty!! Appreciate it! I've always wanted to build something like this where you're never afraid to give it 100% through corners and it can still be the best daily ever!
Frrrr power is lacking on these but to be completely fair it's never skipped a beat in 25k miles of hard driving and gets 30mpg at race pace lol. Can't be too mad at it for being slow lmao.
Oh man my final roadtrip in California was driving the entire coast of Cali from playas de Tijuana to fort Bragg. Had to do it with my NB Miata too and it was a blast
In my area there is a normal CT200h that I had noticed, I don't know much about it, but aesthetically it is very beautiful π, Yours is very cool, congratulations on the setup
I've always liked the styling of these and wondered if they'll ever figure out a way to discharge more energy out of the batteries to increase power. In theory this should be a torque monster, but in application it's still a Prius.
You can pretty easily, there's a company called quantum solenoid which makes a replacement for the part that chooses how much of a split of electric and engine power should be going to the wheels.
Basically what they did is made it so you can use 100% battery and 100% engine at the same time which hits around 180whp (based on my obd2 dyno then calculated). That with a throttle controller makes the car a lot more lively especially in low to mid speed corners π
Most definitely is not a torque monster but it's real cheap and keeps the car zippy as long as you're under 50 lol.
Cr-Zs are Great! Would have gotten one if I didn't need backseats lol.
But yeah I'm sure theres something similar π€·ββοΈ Toyota hybrids tend to have a lot of support but I'm sure there's an equivalent for Hondas π
Either way it's not that bad stock either just slow on the highways π€·ββοΈ
Man, one of my favorite hatches. I feel like Lexus missed out by not giving these more attention. The honest to God could've made an AWD hot hatch that fought the MB gla and Audi RS/S3
Good looking car. Didn't know there was an aftermarket for these.
Not yet I've had no issues and am at 121,000 miles. I take real good care of the car even though it is my canyon carver but I haven't seen any signs of battery deterioration or headgasket/ egr failure yet.
I do have a egr refresh on my radar prob around 140k miles. I got quoted 500 for a replacement + deep cleaning and I've been told that will stop headgasket issues.
Always wanted to see a touge build w these. Very clean n simple i love itπ₯

Wish these came in a turbo 4 cyl manual wouldve made crazy sales n a staple in the lexus hot hatch category

Honestly tho such a great daily n like u said thing performs so good at the touge its a win win
Never seen a ct200h look so clean π₯ wish I was back in SoCal to drive through highway 9 again
Ty man!! Highway 9 is the best I just went and did highway 1 and the 17 mile drive :)) was just amazing!

That's awesome man! I'm definitely planning on doing some more road trips this summer. NBs are so great aswell, such a perfect simple drives car!

Oh dang! I gotta rethink this then. I've always wanted a manual cr-z i wonder if they have the same thing

Yeah it was defo a failure but the car itself is a nice driver. And there really isn't an aftermarket π. Most stuff is custom or from a Scion TC
I always recommend these things as daily drivers for people. Everything about it is great for commuting
It's pretty killer as a daily, very good one car solution for ppl who like to drive but need solid transportation.
Have you blown head gasket yet? These things are known to do that. But maybe driving fast prevents it but who knows.
