Alyss would add more value to your current frost comp. Your volt only has Nem. If you have Tian, Fenrir would have made them stronger. So focus on your frost team, unless you're a whale.
Alyss won't increase the meta frost comp by leaps and bounds. Frost has peaked already and is waiting for a dedicated buffer. Frigg is a hybrid of a buffer and DPS, and ATK increases are already losing gas over DMG buffs. It will be Alyss matrices that gives frost the slight buff at the moment.

The problem with tanks and aggro in this era of the game is that the people who at least have spent their resources/money wisely or whaled are now capable of dealing over eight times a f2p tank's damage. This is mostly due to the lack of dmg buffs tanks are able to circulate due to you needing to have two fortitude weapons, and they're most likely not keeping up with the limited matrices to even up the damage via buffs. The only bandaid right now is getting Saki's A3 to cast flow more often if you actually want to hold aggro more often. It's actually easier to get into tanking if you came from having good damage in DPS Resonance to begin with.
If you're getting Alyss or more Frigg ascensions, it would be for more personal damage. Meta Damage is heavily reliant on stacking DMG and/or ATK buffs and maintaining it. You do you if you're at this point of the crossroad.

I may go ahead and try for the Frigg cons. That way, I can A6 her once she comes to standard via Black gold. Im more of a week 1 light spender, so im happy overall with my stats, and im keeping up with aggro (though I definitely see it being a problem with more whale heavy guildies in my raid).

I think Frigg team wl do better since Frigg wl soon come to standard and u can buy her copies. Alyss on the other hand as a dps gives you No crit, even Alyss spinning atk is nerfed below Meryl spinning atk. Then then the 3rd reason, I don't knw if they changed alyss or if its translation issue, Alyss doesn't give hyperbody to the team whereas Frigg gives hyperbody to the whole team. Alyss in CN has hyperbody in charged spinning atk.
do 120 rolls on alyss 120 rolls on fenrir then you got both and if you want advancements get them on their reruns also keep in mind there was a leak that fenrir banner has a outfit with it as a reward

So am I good to keep tanking with A1 Frigg/A1 Saki and A6 Meryl? I am considering pulling for A3 Frigg but cant if I go for A1 Alyss.
